We placed an order to go for the first time yesterday. Their luncheon meal specials are an incredible value. We ordered 2 meals plus 2 additional egg rolls for about 20 bucks ( a lot of food). Everything was delicious and had obviously very high quality ingredients. My wife went inside to pick up the food and said the restaurant was super clean with the staff wearing masks. Not a fancy place, but clean. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Really good spring rolls and egg rolls. We ordered sesame chicken and a triple Kung Poa. The Sesame Chicken was awesome, light crispy breading and sauce was perfect. Fried rice was also very good. Triple Kung poa was flavorful and yummy. Portions were large enough for leftovers. Just reviewing Lo mein today... I pulled in to this unpretentious restaurant several times and it's the standard. Order... Correct order repeated and repeat order. Sigh... I have only ordered Shrimp Lo mein and BBQ pork lo mein. I was so happy to see large shrimp and no Sea Monkeys for a change.. The mix of other veggies included baby button mushrooms to my delight. The pork was cut wide but slightly fatty. The smoky flavor was nice. I had a great duck sauce and the mustards and soy are packaged. I will go back and return with more experiences as soon as I can. But for now... The décor was blah with non Asian music piped in. But I noticed an attentive staff. I love atmosphere but love food more. So more to come! read more

Noticed this restaurant awhile ago and we finally gave it a try, glad we did we were very pleased. We were there an hour ago, leaving about 6:30 PM. I'd been told it's the best Chinese restaurant in Naples. We were not impressed. The dining room was busy but there were about 2 empty tables, so they weren't swamped. First, we were glad we had our sweatshirts. It was freezing in there! I wore lightweight jeans and a lacy long sleeved shirt. After adding the sweatshirt, I was still very cold. I expected the hot food to warm my up. Well, it wasn't hot. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, which are deep fried. My first clue that they might not be all that hot was when they brought them out and they were a very light color. They were OK but only barely above room temperature. We shared an entree of vegetable egg fu yung. There were 3 large pieces, filled with veggies and it came with plenty of sauce and an order of fried rice. The rice was simply non-white rice but had no flavor. But none of it was hot, just mildly warm. There was very little flavor to any of the food. Since we had shared an entree, we had plenty of food and none left over. But as we walked out, one patron waiting for a take-out order commented to another man who was leaving that everyone walked out with a bag of leftovers - apparently others each ordered an entree. Good if you want leftovers - but we didn't think the food was good enough to eat leftovers the next day....We won't be back. read more

Delivery was SUPER FAST. The food is delicious and perfectly cooked- no squishy limp veggies or weird tasting "chicken"- and really hit the spot. Portion sizes are great- no skimpy servings of the good stuff. They even brought me extra soy sauce without me needing to ask. The delivery man was really nice and friendly. Do not go here. Worst service ever. Waited over 30 minutes to get my lunch order after it was placed. The restaurant was not busy when I ordered. The staff ignore you and are on their cell phones. No manager on duty and staff just say "I know" but never apologize. There were at least 6 staff members walking around in the dining area but still ignored. The food is edible but not good at all. We placed an order and after three hours they said they had lost it. My stepdad was waiting for the order so they have him two bags after saying they lost it. When we got the food home, they gave us the wrong order and charged us for the wrong amount. I called the restaurant and they said they would only refund my money if I drove back 30 minutes. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about on how great this place is. I ordered a medium-sized House Special Rice and a large House Special WonTon Soup to be picked up. When I entered the restaurant my order wasn't ready yet and decided to have a seat while I waited. The dirty floor mats were rolled up on the chairs so I couldn't have a seat while I waited. It was 45 minutes until they closed and the staff was just laying in booths while I went to use the restroom. This place is really good. One of the few places with good Chinese in Naples, not the typical fast food greasy Chinese that seems so popular down here. The sweet and sour soup is among the best I have ever had, it's included with the lunch specials and the early bird special s which are the best value in town. Staff is very accommodating to any special need you may have and the food is hot fresh and cooked to order. They also have a few Japanese selections, including great tempura. Delicious! Had dinner here this evening with friends and everything was great. Friendly wait staff, very efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were big. Pan fried pork dumplings, shrimp spring roll, wonton and sweet and sour soup, BBQ ribs, General Tso Chicken(all white meat chicken). We have ordered from Golden Leaf many times in the past and found their food good. the other night we placed an order without difficulty and delivery time was fine too. So I'm giving it a star for that only. The food however was awful. First off, fried pork dumplings turned out to be steamed doughy and tough vegetable dumplings. Somehow managed to mess up fried rice as it looked and tasted more like white rice. Our spicy Szechwan Shrimp and our pork dish were interchangeable. Could not tell one from the other in taste and honestly, tasted bland and rubbery. So $45 plus tip...last they will see of us! read more

i have been reading the reviews on golden leaf and decided to give it a shot....ordered take out ...the egg drop soup and the hot and sour soup was as good as any ny restaurant....the house lo mein was fresh with white meat chicken, large shrimp and pork...roast pork egg foo young had the sauce on the side as requested, and they even had house mustard and house duck sauce to go....the noodles were the best i have had in a long time! definitely a keeper!!!...i have tried several other chinese restaurants in naples, only to be disappointed...this time i found a gem! read more
