Last week Golden Mall opened a second branch in FiDi on Broadway near Printemps. Right now the soft opening is going on so I went to see it on Friday. It has two floors and looks like a long railroad apartment. Food stalls are on the left and seating area on the right. It is bright and has large television screens depicting the venue. A variety of eats welcomes visitors. A boba and drinks at the entrance, hand pulled noodles, fried chicken steak, sushi and poke, Lucky Duck House and Dim Sum. As I like duck, I ordered the Signature Roast Duck which came with broccoli and rice ($17.80). The helping was quite large and as I ate I found that half the duck had plenty of meat on it whereas the other half was anorexic. I told Tammi this and she took note as the total with tax was nearly $20. The broccoli and mixed rice with diced carrots was fine but unusual as normally sauteed greens and white rice is served with duck. I also wondered if Asians get a better duck order as the man who came after me seemed to have duck that was perfectly fine? A restroom is on the far end which needs a code to enter. There is a second floor accessible via stairs or an elevator. I took the elevator and saw a large gaming room which was flashy. I plan to return to try the hand pulled noodles.

It came with some simple ban chan which didn't wow me but did the job. The galbi was tasty, I def had better elsewhere but it was still delicious and satisfied my craving. And the soup was very comforting, slightly spicy. I got the soybean paste soup.

This is a small food hall that is easy to miss if you blink when you walk by. The place is narrow…read morebut fairly deep. Most of the shops are on the ground level, along with some seating. There's more seating on the 2nd floor, plus a press on nail place. Walk up one more set of stairs to the 3rd floor for more seating, plus restrooms and one more restaurant counter (a chicken place). I do not know how the place on the 3rd floor stays in business. I didn't notice signs on the ground level letting everyone know it's up there. It's definitely better to have a spot on the ground level where there's more foot traffic. Seems like a lot of people know about this food hall. It is fairly crowded. Many of the restaurants looked interesting, so we made 2 rounds to look at all the offerings before deciding what to get. We picked up Shrimp Udon from the Seoul New York (located way at the back; they offer a discount for paying by cash), and also a Potato Korean Hot Dog from Sweet Churros (located at the front as the first restaurant on the right side after walking through the front door). Both were good. I love food halls because everyone in your group can find something different to eat. And it's a plus when there's seating and restrooms available. This one is a hidden gem in Koreatown. Great dining spot for a casual or quick meal. The prices are reasonable compared to some of the "sit down" restaurants in the neighborhood.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. However, I'm here for the great food options and can overlook quite a bit. Therefore, though there are shortcomings, I block it all out and just enjoy what they do offer, which is large variety of delicious cuisines from around China/Asia.

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for Midtown Manhattan. Over the two visits, I tried both versions of the Hainanese chicken rice, and both were delicious. The food came out incredibly fast, and I especially appreciated that the meals included Chinese broccoli. I also tried the stir-fried noodles from Hainan Jones and the beef rendang from Padi D'NYC -- both were excellent. Overall, everything we ordered was flavorful, satisfying, and served quickly. Urban Hawker isn't a restaurant, but a food hall with lots of Singaporean and Malaysian food vendors. While we also wanted to try a dessert, the dessert stall we were interested in was unmanned. We were also feeling pretty full from our main lunch items.
