We ordered Golden Pho via Yelp as a delivery. My girlfriend was in the mood for Chinese. Our food was delivered fairly quickly. We ordered Egg Rolls, Wor Wonton Soup, House Fried Rice and the chiefs special Spicy Orange Chicken. The food was edible, but mediocre at best. I've had better tasting Chinese food. The Egg Rolls was golden and crispy on the outside, but the veggies were a little too mushy for me. I like my veggies with a little bite. The sauce was inedible. Wor Wonton Soup was delicious. Good broth. Hit the spot. The House Fried Rice was clumpy. Had no flavor. They did put a good portion of protein in the dish. The House Fried Rice comes with chicken, beef and shrimp. My favorite part of the meal was their Spicy Orange Chicken. Their chicken is lightly battered. Good ratio of chicken. The spiciness gives the chicken a finer flavor. It's not sweet at all. I found this restaurant when I was searching for Pho with chicken. I have since ordered multiple times, usually for delivery and have been extremely happy every time. I love the portion sizes, the broth and the tender white meat chicken they include with all the Pho fixings fresh and delicious, every time. This place is such a rip off. Worst service ever. Had a pot luck at work because it was a coworkers last day. I called prior and inquired about full tray orders of Kung pao chicken and orange chicken. We were quoted $73.18 for two FULL TRAYS. They told us they would deliver in 35-45 minutes. An hour into our wait I called to check on our order and they apologized and said they were running late. It would've been nice if they actually gave us a heads up. When we went to pick up our order in the lobby of the hospital we were surprised that they gave us only two half trays. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager and his response was this was a full order. I never said I wanted a full order I specifically asked for a full tray. They continued to tell me that this was their full tray which is so misleading because you can't just say that a half tray is a full tray. There are standard sizes and everyone knows what is a full tray and what is a half tray. I paid well over $80 tip included for food that wasn't enough to feed our hospital unit. If I would've know any better I would've went somewhere else for better food, service, and prices. We won't be othering from here anymore and I suggest you don't either. The plate that carries the limes, bean sprouts, mint leaves, and jalapenos was abundant but the bean sprouts were a little brown/old. A bit of a turn off. However, the Pho was super delicious and just what my body needed to fight off this one a year cold. I got a large bowl of Pho for under $10 and in my book that is always a win. I was really pleased with the atmosphere of Golden Pho. It's quiet and clean. The pho was good, although a tad oily. I also enjoyed the spring rolls. The thai iced tea with boba was delicious too! I stopped by Golden Pho for lunch during a remote training session for work. Since it was 1000x more peaceful than Starbucks, we decided to stay a while & asked for the wifi password (as Yelp said they have free wifi, as did multiple reviews) Our waitress initially said they didn't have open wifi, but grumpily provided the information after I mentioned what I'd see online. Our waitress really was surly. She barely spoke to us and the nasty expression made it clear she wasn't prepared to be helpful. After she dropped off my order, I didn't see her again. Empty plates sat on our table the entire time we were there. I had to walk up order my coffee and to pay, while other customers received normal restraunt service. If I had come here for a normal meal, I might not be back after dealing with this waitress. However, the young man at the counter was delightful and polite. I honestly believe that if the food wasn't in such a mess when it got here, I would have written about how delicious my meal was and this would have been a 5/5 stars. This is the BEST Chinese food I've had in California. I'm originally from the Midwest and out Chinese food is FIRE and this comes very close! I had shrimp fried rice, something basic, hard to ruin but also hard to make delicious and they made it SPECTACULAR. The shrimp were plump and had a grilled flavor, rice was super flavorful and had lots of peas and carrots (I love) even the egg in the rice was flavorful. I definitely will be back. I was too busy to go out and get dinner before the husband came home so I opted for Chinese delivery via yelp. This place had good reviews and after looking at the photos, I decided to give them a try. The Eat24 app provides the delivery service. It states either a third party delivery man or someone from the restaurant itself will deliver your meal. I chose three entrees: orange chicken, Szechuan eggplant and snow pea chicken. There is an order minimum you need to meet ($23) and it was $1 for delivery. It said they deliver within a 3 mile radius (call and check with the restaurant if you live outside of a 3 mile radius just to be sure). Though the estimated delivery time 45-60mins. My order came in 30 mins. The app allows you to Choose a specified delivery time or ASAP (I chose this). Orange chicken (4/5): more red in color than most places but nicely fried and flavored. Snow pea chicken (3/5): lots of chicken breast annot as much snow pea in the mix. It also had water chestnuts and carrots. This was a bit bland for my liking. Szechuan eggplant (3/5): great portion size, color was spot on but also bland in taste. Even though 2/3 entrees were bland, I still chose to give 4 stars because they do not use MSG and allow you to add more flavor if it's more bland. Safe for cardiac diet folks. It's easier to fix something that's bland than something that is too salty. Delivery was prompt and driver was friendly. Portion sizes were large.
