    Broccoli and beef
    Helen H.

Service was prompt and there was plenty of parking in a shared plaza. The menu had photos of every dish, which was helpful. I tried the beef broccoli, which was more of an oyster sauce and garlic combination. The chicken satay skewers were bland and hard. The peanut sauce was on the sweet side. There were some flies inside, which was a bit annoying. The decor was cute.

Visited this restaurant for dinner. We ordered soup and larb with chicken, both were tasty. Salad was super fresh with unique presentation. If you can pass by the fact that there is no central AC and it can get quite hot inside, give this place a try as the food is rather good!

Can get pretty busy around dinner time. People often come in larger groups and this is a small restaurant. Best for 2-4 people. Had I reviewed this place sooner (thought I had), I likely would've given this place a 5/5 (at least for the area). They have become a go-to spot for me over the years. They are very friendly and do a pretty good job getting the food out in a timely manner. My favorite dishes: -Thai Tea & Coffee: Sweet and refreshing. -Thai Style Chicken Wings: Good Crisp. -Spicy Basil Combo (pork): Not too spicy, simple yet flavorful. -Mango Sticky Rice: the rice texture def isn't for everyone. -Beef Pad Thai: wish the sauce (for lack of a better word) had more tamarind flavor or if you could ask for it to be stronger. -Garlic Combo with Beef: basically a Thai style omelette with garlic, your meat of choice and a side of what I can only describe as a Thai style buffalo dipping sauce.

Wow found this hidden gem for lunch today! It was not busy at 2pm on a Saturday. Very clean and great service! The food was amazing! All the flavors of Thai food hit the spot. We ordered the yellow curry with chicken, chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and for dessert we had their amazing sticky rice! Just the right amount of sweet. Definitely a place to enjoy theme t time we're in town.

I ordered this food while I was traveling through Stockton/manteca area and this was a good choice. The shrimp pad Thai had good flavor and even though I ordered mild, it had a bit of a kick and a little more on the spicy side. Can't speak of the service as I ordered take out but they did forget to give me utensils. The ambiance was nice and overall locally owned place. I would recommend this for the pad Thai as it was cooked well and had good flavors .

Pad Thai and crying tiger is good. Beef basil fried rice is a little salty. I ordered 2 Thai tea and it's sweet.

Met up with two of my great friends for an early lunch here. Small establishment but clean. And friendly. Nice little set up inside, although depending on certain situations tables are placed very closely together. But all in all the food tasted amazing and the visual presentation of each dish that was brought out was very nice to look at and placed very well. One of my friends had previously been here so I'm guaranteed that we will meet up here again whether it be for a lunch or an early dinner. If I recall, I think their opening hours are 11 AM and that was on a Saturday.

This is a cute spot in a strip mall. The inside looks trendy and well lit. The service was great and quick. The food was delicious

Went out to Lunch on a weekend, and dined in. What went right; staff friendliness & prompt service, the food was hot and flavorful (especially with the sauces provided), and the bathroom was as clean as it should be for public use. Oh and it was refreshingly cool. Had the Basil Combo Plate ('medium spice') and fried rolls. Would definitely reorder these.

This is a whole in the wall, small local businesses I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while now. It has great reviews and I love Thai food so I had high expectations. Ambiance resembles a small business but didn't really give me the usual Thai food spot vibe. I didn't dine in, took it to go however I did post a few pictures of the dining room so be sure to check them out. Food was delicious! A bit overpriced but so good! Check out my photos of the food I bought. Service was what you would expect for a to go order. I asked for an itemized receipt but was told by the young lady that she couldn't provide one to me. Today I dined as pleasure so not an issue however when I do business meals I do need itemized receipts so this spot would not be an option for me to take anyone to a business lunch. Too bad because I tend to spend much more on those outings. I also found it odd that the prices advertised in the window don't match the menu prices inside. I mentioned this to the cashier who just shrugged it off. I tried to figure out why my meal cost so much based on menu prices inside but without an itemized receipt it was not possible. I paid $35.72 for the crying tiger and a mango sweet sticky rice dessert. I even added extra three dollars in case they charged me for side of rice but still I paid more than I should have by a few dollars. This is the reason I took off two stars. Parking was a bit challenging as this place is located in a strip mall and shared with several other businesses including a grocery store. Overall, I would love to eat the food again but the owner will need to update menu in window and in store to reflect what I'm actually paying. If not, I will have to pass. I always support local small businesses and I still recommend you give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed in the food, you may be disappointed with the price your charged though. As long as you're mindful of that, you will be good.

Great food and service! Crying tiger - steak with some bomb sauce Pineapple fried rice - super fragrant and yummy, especially with the extra fish sauce and chili and lemon Pineapple curry (medium) - concentrated wonderful flavor, packed with the fixings of veggies and meat. Golden spoon noodle - gamey broth reminiscent of Cambodian kathiew, feels like home cooking Papaya salad - thick cut and standardly yummy Service is always nice and atmosphere is always clean with upscale dining ware. I've been here twice so far and there will be no hesitation to come back the next time I'm at great wolf lodge again

I was craving papaya salad soooo bad and this was absolutely amazing. I ordered it thai spicy style with grilled shrimp. It was the perfect level of spicy, salty, and sour. I will be back often just for the papaya salad.

The food we ordered was delicious! Every item was very flavorful. We would have had a great experience as the service was great and it was a nice clean restaurant, however, a family was seated and immediately coming in, the family had no consideration for other patrons in the restaurant. I am around noise, and am typically not bothered, especially when a family is out having a nice meal while enjoying each others' company. But this family had no control of their kids nor did they care that kids were in walk ways. It's a small restaurant and they were playing now around tables. It is not a park nor outdoors. There has to be a line drawn to make others feel comfortable and enjoy their meals too. That was the only thing that bothered me that not one person gestured the kids to sit down or at least be in their area. We were all tortured. It was really hard to enjoy our meal. But it wasn't just the kids, the parents did not care. In fact, they were yelling themselves. It's about respect for others. I understand this is a one off situation because it started to get busy. It's a popular restaurant and the food speaks for itself but the business needs to control an uncomfortable environment. Everyone was upset. I was so thrown off that I didn't take pictures of everything. I wanted to get up and leave fast. But everything was solid. Ordered spring rolls, fried chicken (wet), Tom Ka Gai, Ginger whole fried fish, pad see ew with pork, and crab fried rice.

My wife and I stopped in after our jog along the Tidewater Biketrail, making this our lunch pit stop after starting at Lathrop Road. The Char Siu Pork Bánh Mì is an easy 5/5. The baguette was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy inside. The char siu pork was tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized around the edges. Crisp pickled carrots and daikon, plenty of cilantro, and fresh jalapeños brought everything together. It's a well-balanced sandwich with a portion that's just right. The Grilled Chicken Roll'd deserves more attention. The grilled chicken reminded me of a flavorful chicken satay, and the peanut sauce complemented every bite without overpowering the fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a lighter, protein-packed option, this is it. They also offered complimentary strawberry and passion fruit refreshers. They were a little sweeter than my preference, but the flavors were refreshing. Next time, I'd order one at 50% sweetness. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and a welcome escape from the Central Valley heat. Service has always been friendly, and it's the kind of place where both the staff and regulars make you feel welcome. There's also a Tracy location, but I find myself coming back to the Manteca restaurant. It's smaller, more intimate, and has a charm all its own. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, great people, and a relaxed atmosphere. I always say, good food brings out the best in people. They were served with more of a hoisin-style sauce instead of the typical peanut sauce. A little different, but still had good flavor overall. My dad ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was much bigger than what you usually get at other places. He said it was really good and definitely filling. ($6.95) I ordered the mild beef stew pho. It wasn't quite what I'm used to--the meat wasn't the typical stew cut and had more fat and gristle, with only a few pieces of beef. It wasn't my favorite, but the broth itself had good flavor. It also came with rice noodles, carrots, and even a couple pieces of lettuce, which was a bit different. Looking around, other dishes coming out looked really good. I'd definitely come back to try one of their sandwiches next time. Service was quick approx 30 seats. The ambiance was casual and welcoming clean, relaxed, and a comfortable spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. Nothing fancy, but it had a nice local feel.

Food was so much better this time around than the last time I had been there. They really must've had a bad night when I had gone previously. Small restaurant in the of a little strip mall off of Main Street. They serve classic Chinese American food and unlike most places in the Bay Area that are family style dishes preferably on a Lazy Susan during dinner time. They offer rice plates, or combo plates for individuals, similar to lunch specials. I selected several dishes and asked the server which was the most popular amongst the dishes I chose, and she let me know the salt and pepper fish, which I got with chow mein. We also ordered shrimp & broccoli, and sweet-and-sour pork. Everything appeared made to order and looked very fresh. From grandma to the babes everyone was happy with their food. Mine was more on the plain Jane with just fried fish, luckily it came with sliced jalapeños to give it a kick. Next time I'll order a spicy eggplant dish. This is a good place to go to if you're with a group of picky eaters. Price is very reasonable, especially for dinner.

7/5 /25 Update 3/5 This has been a long time coming…read moreunfortunately. Ever since the previous owners sold the place the quality has dropped significantly. Consistency has been a major issue not only with food but with policy. When they first took over I'm sure there were some learning curves and maybe tweaks to the recipes. I wanted to give them a fair shot to get things right. Not sure if the old cooks stayed or if they got new ones? Did the new owners have the recipes changed? Did they change suppliers of ingredients, etc, I just don't know. What I can tell you though is that at least some of the dishes are different and are off from what I remember. The general Tao sauce I thought tasted different but necessarily bad. But combine that with a definite lack of crisp/crunch with the fried items and that's gonna be a problem for me. This time around, I only got the general tao beef because unlike my previous visit, they did not allow me to order the general tao beef in the combo plate as in upcharge (just last week or the week before it was allowed). I've been multiple times since the change in ownership. Partly because of the convenience of the location and partly because of the hope that whatever meal I eat at any given time will at least satisfy my fix for their type of Chinese American food. Unfortunately, the fried items I loved so much like orange chicken, sweet and sour pork and general tao beef alike are all severely lacking the crunch from the fry. As of late I've been getting the General Tao Beef to track consistency and it's been consistently under cooked in terms of the batter. The beef itself has been rubbery and to the point where I can't even break apart a piece and end up having to eat it whole lots of times. The other problem is that the pieces are large inconsistently cut (sometimes with, sometimes against the grain) strips making for a difficult chew. And because of the lack of crunch the fried battered outside just falls apart when you bite or try to cut it apart. The last two visits, but especially this one considering I ordered extra crunchy, were severely undercooked and soggy. it was to the point this time where I basically had to scrape off the majority of the batter and just eat the rubbery beef inside. It really does bring me pain to drastically drop the rating of a place that I once loved. I hope one day they can make the fixes so that I can continue to enjoy their food once again. I gave them a 3/5 but honestly, it probably should have been 2/5. I think the chicken with hot garlic sauce might be just good enough to keep it at 3/5 even though the last three times I ordered it. It was inconsistently hot (with cold spots) temperature wise.
