    Snow peas sautéed in garlic

This is the best place to go and get deep fried flounder, snow peas in garlic sauce, chicken and salted fish fried rice. The server is always friendly and fast.,The restaurant is older but spacious the bathroom is clean and there is plenty of parking. We drive all the way from San Francisco to here.,

Do note their updated hours of operation. I arrived here only to discover they were closed on Saturday at 3pm. There's plenty of parking in the plaza that Golden Wok Bistro is located in

This restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I opted to phone my order in so I can just grab and go. I ordered their lunch plates with come with a complimentary side soup. I ordered their peking pork chops and upgraded the rice to fried rice. OMG let me tell you this was super delicious it was sweet and tangy and not a lot of fat. I usually judge chinese restaurants based off their peking pork chops and this did not miss at all. The portions are pretty big for a lunch plate. The service was super nice, and i saw plenty of tables inside for dining. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items!

Great place for delicious and comforting Chinese food. My new go to order place for party trays (2x already) that delivered in flavor and pricing. The owners are so kind and pick up was quick, food was hot and ready on time! I ordered 7 small trays for 23 ppl, and it was more than enough! They offer 3 tray sizes. My family enjoyed everything! I definitely will be back!

Great Tasty High Quality Chinese Food It's also serves traditional baked Hong Kong Cafe dishes Bare bones. Authentic High Quality Chinese Food! Get the Fish Maw Soup! Great Service! Come for the Food! Surprised by the service! Ambiance is bare bones like most traditional authentic Chinese Restaurants.

Service with a smile! Thanks, Chef Andy!

Delicious Chinese food. Well prepared. Nice size servings. Good value, too. Salt and pepper fried fish fillets. Ample size pieces, tender and moist. Crispy and not greasy. Very popular here. Tried the duck yee foo won ton soup. Piping hot and flavorful. The fried won tons still had a bit of crunch. Pictured here with chef Andy. Pork belly and a beef with green beans rounded out our meal for 4. Swrvice is great. Your typical everyday place for comfort food.

    Wor Wonton Soup! Delish!!!

I have a bad cough & cold and did not feel like cooking tonight. I stopped at Golden Wok Bistro (so fortunate that it is right around the corner from my house!) to pick up some Wor Wonton Soup. It hit the spot and is so nourishing, healthy and DELICIOUS! Their broth is rich and savory and ohhhh so good! The soup is loaded with lots of delicious wontons and packed with lots of fresh veg (carrots, celery, zucchini) and loads of protein (beef, pork, chicken & shrimp)! Soo good! I already feel better!

Free parking in mall lot. Got there early so plenty of space, later when leaving lot was full up. Bistro had a good collection of Chinese entrees. Hotpot tofu good, gravy was a little corn starchy, nice smooth egg soft tofu. Shrimps with greens was good, shrimps mixed sizes, shelled, clean veins, onions, garlic. Combo chow mein was good, mixed meat beef, chicken, shrimp. Rice is extra add-on if you are not on low carb diet. Fish maw soup good, one bowl enough for four person smaller bowls, a little corn starchy. Overall food was average, easy parking. Ambiance was a small family bistro, take out better, chairs a little greasy, improvement needed, salt, soy juice could use a daily wipe down from grease on containers. Service was average, menu for dessert requested took some time to get wait person's attention. Fried banana with ice cream was only thing available. Overall, 3 stars out of 5.

They excel at chow fun, fried food, crispy skin poultry, fish fillet and oysters. My go-tos: * Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings - addictive. They half each wing so each piece has a single bone, making it easy to eat like a drumstick. The flavor needs improvement, but the batter is very addictive -- crispy, fluffy and crunchy (if ordered when the batter is fresh). * Stir-fry Fish Fillet with Broccoli - the menu lists this with mixed veggies, but I prefer this with regular broccoli. This used to be the best fish dish around. Super flavorful. They source the fish from a place that filets fresh sea bass, but that place had gone downhill and they often sub tilapia instead. * Shrimp with Scrambled Egg Chow Fun (wet) - the chow fun is silky smooth, wide in width, and slightly charred. None of that shriveled, dried-up fun you get elsewhere. * String Bean - crispy and deep-fried They also do these really well: * Salt and Pepper Live Crab - as good as R&B Lounge. Crispy batter and freshest tasting live crab with no pee smell. Good during crab season. * Roast Duck - very crispy skin. I find that dipping the meat in their sauce plus the pool of sauce on the plate makes this flavor better than Cheung Hing's. I love the roast duck from Cooking Papa (Santa Clara), but their skin is not crispy. * Crispy Skin Chicken - get the one that comes with two sauces; dipping is essential for best flavors. If you order anything Salt and Pepper style, come early evening because the batter deteriorates over time. There was a stretch after Covid when they cut costs and swap out some perfect ingredients with cheaper ones; and not add salt to some veggies perhaps for health benefits, but glad that most of that have been walked back.

Why would they remove the other bone to the chicken wing. This would be time consuming. The flavor was good but I strongly doubt it was chicken wing. What I believe they sold was pieces of chicken thighs left over from cutting off most Of the meat. If they are misbranding the food, the restaurant is misleading customers. I don't plan on returning.

Recently I stopped to pick-up dinner with the plan to have leftovers. I called my order in and was quoted 40 minutes for my order to be ready. Big won ton filled w pork and shrimp. Bok choy Broth not much flavor, in a separate container since this was a take-home order. Curry Beef Stew I've never had Curry beef stew before, prefer chicken, curry, but for some odd reason, I decided to order this dish. It was underwhelming and I won't order it again. The Curry sauce itself was OK but the big long pieces of beef were somewhat gross, lots of fat. They added plenty of slices to onions and a few pieces of green pepper and Julienned carrots, but that's about it for being called a stew. So I learned my lesson by not sticking to my usual order, and won't order wonton soup or curry beef stew again.

The sticky rice had a nice chewy texture, but it tasted burnt, as shown in the photo. Overall, we're glad we gave this place a try, but the dishes we ordered didn't meet our expectations. Pretty much everything on the menu is good here. If there's something that sounds interesting, get it. If you've been curious about spaghetti dishes at southern Chinese restaurants, get one. The General's Chicken is actually insanely good here, like the best lunch special I know anywhere, and it's General's Chicken. Hainan chicken, salt and pepper spare ribs, rice clay pots, eggplant dishes, and even Chinese curry are items I commonly see ordered around me. The tofu seafood claypot is fantastic. Pretty sure they have Peking spareribs and they were great iirc. The chow fun dishes are only good, not super exceptional, you rarely see people order them. Alright the few things I've noticed that could be improved have all happened when I come closer to closing than opening. I've had a couple times where the tea kettle was still soapy, so the tea tasted awful. Their kettles keep the tea piping hot for the whole meal, so maybe that makes them hard to clean. But I've also had the tea come not very hot. They don't like giving you water and tea, some Chinese service lol. We also decided to try a couple of things we had never ordered before after seeing other tables enjoy them. The beef chow fun looked amazing when we saw someone else order it, so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The noodles were on the dry side and lacked the flavorful wok hei and savory taste that I usually look for in a good beef chow fun. It was just missing that something special. We also ordered the Chinese chicken salad because we wanted something lighter to balance out the meal. I was expecting the traditional shredded chicken with lettuce, but instead it came with thin tortilla-style chips underneath. That really changed the whole feel of the dish for me. I was hoping for a refreshing salad, but the chips made it feel more greasy, and the mustard oil dressing was not really my preference. The chicken was also a little dry. I probably would not order this again. The good news is the salt and pepper spare ribs were still delicious, just like we expected. They remain one of our favorites here. Overall, I would stick with the dishes we already know and love and skip the beef chow fun and chicken salad next time.
