Do note their updated hours of operation. I arrived here only to discover they were closed on Saturday at 3pm. There's plenty of parking in the plaza that Golden Wok Bistro is located in

This restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I opted to phone my order in so I can just grab and go. I ordered their lunch plates with come with a complimentary side soup. I ordered their peking pork chops and upgraded the rice to fried rice. OMG let me tell you this was super delicious it was sweet and tangy and not a lot of fat. I usually judge chinese restaurants based off their peking pork chops and this did not miss at all. The portions are pretty big for a lunch plate. The service was super nice, and i saw plenty of tables inside for dining. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items!

Great place for delicious and comforting Chinese food. My new go to order place for party trays (2x already) that delivered in flavor and pricing. The owners are so kind and pick up was quick, food was hot and ready on time! I ordered 7 small trays for 23 ppl, and it was more than enough! They offer 3 tray sizes. My family enjoyed everything! I definitely will be back!

Great Tasty High Quality Chinese Food It's also serves traditional baked Hong Kong Cafe dishes Bare bones. Authentic High Quality Chinese Food! Get the Fish Maw Soup! Great Service! Come for the Food! Surprised by the service! Ambiance is bare bones like most traditional authentic Chinese Restaurants.

Service with a smile! Thanks, Chef Andy!

Delicious Chinese food. Well prepared. Nice size servings. Good value, too. Salt and pepper fried fish fillets. Ample size pieces, tender and moist. Crispy and not greasy. Very popular here. Tried the duck yee foo won ton soup. Piping hot and flavorful. The fried won tons still had a bit of crunch. Pictured here with chef Andy. Pork belly and a beef with green beans rounded out our meal for 4. Swrvice is great. Your typical everyday place for comfort food.

    Wor Wonton Soup! Delish!!!

I have a bad cough & cold and did not feel like cooking tonight. I stopped at Golden Wok Bistro (so fortunate that it is right around the corner from my house!) to pick up some Wor Wonton Soup. It hit the spot and is so nourishing, healthy and DELICIOUS! Their broth is rich and savory and ohhhh so good! The soup is loaded with lots of delicious wontons and packed with lots of fresh veg (carrots, celery, zucchini) and loads of protein (beef, pork, chicken & shrimp)! Soo good! I already feel better!

Free parking in mall lot. Got there early so plenty of space, later when leaving lot was full up. Bistro had a good collection of Chinese entrees. Hotpot tofu good, gravy was a little corn starchy, nice smooth egg soft tofu. Shrimps with greens was good, shrimps mixed sizes, shelled, clean veins, onions, garlic. Combo chow mein was good, mixed meat beef, chicken, shrimp. Rice is extra add-on if you are not on low carb diet. Fish maw soup good, one bowl enough for four person smaller bowls, a little corn starchy. Overall food was average, easy parking. Ambiance was a small family bistro, take out better, chairs a little greasy, improvement needed, salt, soy juice could use a daily wipe down from grease on containers. Service was average, menu for dessert requested took some time to get wait person's attention. Fried banana with ice cream was only thing available. Overall, 3 stars out of 5.

    Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce

Came here an hour before closing. The restaurant was empty and we we took our food to go. The staff were very friendly and quick with making our food. We had ordered the Chinese broccoli, fried crab meat puff, and honey walnut prawns. 5/5 for the crab puff. Really delicious! 4/5 for honey walnut prawns- pretty good portion, big prawns, the sauce was just a little thick for me. 3/5 for the broccoli and oyster sauce. Not sure if this was really worth $15. And I wish there could have been more sauce for the veggies. 4/5 for the hot and sour soup- nice flavor and definitely has a kick of spice to it.

Hidden gem!!! I love me a good authentic Chinese food place. You knew right off the bat that this place was going to be good because of the green chairs and ambiance! We ordered the pork chop rice plate and house crispy noodles and omg!!! Both were to die for. It was so good and flavorful. And they give a great amount. The waiter was friendly and apologetic even when she didn't need to be (because we went up to the podium for more water). I would give it a 5 star but it was a little dirty to me. My fork had left over old rice on it. And the sauce containers had dust on top. Cleanliness can be improved forsure. Would def come back, the food was fantastic!

This place has been around for many years, possibly under different owners, but a first time for me trying it. It's tucked away in a neighborhood shopping center. We got there and it was relatively empty--except for 1 or 2 tables. We were greeted and seated immediately. They serve standard Chinese (Cantonese style) dishes, rice plates, noodles and congee and have Hong Kong cafe type rice plates. For our party of 2, we decided to order rice plates rather than eating family style, a la carte dishes. So we ordered the Seafood Baked Rice and Portugese Baked Chicken. The dishes overall were tasty-- a lot of sauce over both the rice. Speaking specifically on my Portuguese baked chicken, albeit saucey & tasty, the chicken was lacking. They were thinly sliced, pounded & tenderized chicken breasts, the pieces were the size of my palm & thin sliced in half vertically. There was a generous amount of seafood on the baked seafood dish. Both dishes had an abundance of bell peppers and onions. The portions was large and had leftovers to take home. I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars for food. The prices were reasonable and on par for Cantonese food the area; ranging between $12-$16 depending on what you order, some specialty dishes (claypots) will be pricier. They offer good Cantonese comfort foods and worth a try if you live in the area.

Surprisingly their Peking Duck is very flavorful. Westlake beef, tofu clay pot with fish and Buddha Delight were a big hit. Delicious.

Recently I stopped to pick-up dinner with the plan to have leftovers. I called my order in and was quoted 40 minutes for my order to be ready. My order consisted of salted fish and chicken fried rice (this location has the best around SF and the peninsula), bitter melon beef, chicken chow mein, Thai style fried vermicelli (my favorite dish here), salt and pepper chicken wings. We also received a complimentary bbq pork fried rice. Everything was fantastic and we had plenty of leftovers for a few days.

Big won ton filled w pork and shrimp. Bok choy Broth not much flavor, in a separate container since this was a take-home order. Curry Beef Stew I've never had Curry beef stew before, prefer chicken, curry, but for some odd reason, I decided to order this dish. It was underwhelming and I won't order it again. The Curry sauce itself was OK but the big long pieces of beef were somewhat gross, lots of fat. They added plenty of slices to onions and a few pieces of green pepper and Julienned carrots, but that's about it for being called a stew. So I learned my lesson by not sticking to my usual order, and won't order wonton soup or curry beef stew again.

Skip the congee- tasted like plain water boiled with cooked rice (yuck). 2. The pork chop was dried and lacked flavors. It was overcooked because it was cut toooo thin 3. The stuffed chicken wing was bland, but the sauce kinda made up for it 4. The bitter melon beef was surprisingly delicious. It got "wok hei" which i didn't taste from the other dishes 5. It's eh, kinda priced up though for sure…read more My go to is a baked dish. The quality kinda varies- the baked fish fillet with white cream sauce was good. Cheesy, tender, egg fried rice was flavorful. Portion kinda small, as the dish was very shallow. Not a lot of rice. Kinda off tho when it was the first dish that arrived to the table and it was lukewarm. I find a baked dish is typically always last since it needs time to bake, and is served scalding hot imo. That's when you know it's done right. This wasn't that. Suss The baked pork chop with cheese and tomato sauce was so disappointing and super greasy/heavy. The meat was chewy and had an unpleasant flavor. The tomato sauce was not good either. The shrimp wonton noodle soup I sadly cannot recommend, the filling was not good. Had more pork than shrimp consistency. I did not enjoy the flavor. Not aromatic. I will say, the noodles were great quality. Thin, bouncy, correct texture. What you would hope for. The soup was not good. The roast duck was good, with tender meat and fatty skin. Flavorful with the plum sauce. The fish congee was good, though a bit too runny imo once cooled down. The fried donut (you tiao) was crunchy and very doughy. Would be nice if they could slice it. I can agree with everyone about their thoughts on the 18% mandatory tip fee, it's crazy lol. Mandatory service fee for hk service (which is minimal service). It was so hard to flag down the waiter for refilling water, or to get more napkins. The place was empty and they were on their phone the whole time. Waiting for that automatic tip. Whatever man.
