Goldie's is good and everyone is sleeping on it to go to corporate owned chains that you can eat anywhere. I've been going to this location my entire life thanks to family in the area. I went this past Saturday and was sad to see only one other couple inside. Granted, it was 4 PM, but still. The inside has never been updated aside from the smoking area being turned into the TV area. The service was great and the all-you-can-eat pickle bar is still there. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease since my last visit so I had to edit my order to be safe to eat. I had the chicken club without a bun and a side of cottage cheese. It was delicious. I have no clue how they make the chicken so tender. My husband had the chicken strips dinner with a side of fries, country gravy, coleslaw and crackers for $13.99. It was a ton of food. Goldie's also has a drive-thru, so if you're in a rush, you can eat on the go. Goldie's is a delicious local restaurant that is not getting enough love from the town and that's a shame. The pickles and coleslaw are absolutely amazing!! Those things alone make this place worth it. I got the country dinner and I wasn't a huge fan at all. I maybe should've tried a regular burger or the mushroom swiss dinner. I'll give it another try just to have more pickles and coleslaw but I'm not sure what to try. My wife and I stopped at Goldie's in Owasso on August 5, 2025 before attending a family event. The food and service was very good. I paid with a debit card and left an $8.00 cash tip for the server but no tip on the signed receipt. A couple of days later, I discovered that they added $8.00 to the debit card receipt. read more

Server She did not say her name. Her name is Laura. Atmosphere Well it starts off with a negative 2 for having fux news on. Other than that it's an American diner. Not bust at all Food The food here is average. I got the chicken breast sandwich. The butter they used on the bun tasted old. The chicken itself lacked any real flavor. My mom got food poisoning from this restaurant that we literally used to always eat at. Do NOT eat here I beg.

This place was opened in 1962. I think the carpet is original. Place is dimly lit & decor is prehistoric. There's a short curtain divider that definitely looks 60 years old. The menus were encased in plastic sheet protectors & felt tacky. Same bread and butter pickles I expected. Burger was cooked as ordered but the bun fell apart before I had eaten 2 bites. Ambiance was a minus 5. The greeter never greeted us. She just asked how many & led us to a table. The two female employees I saw there were sitting at a booth playing on their phones. Dirty, slow service and food quality has gone down over the years. Sad, use to be one of the best burger places.

When I first pulled up the place looked closed. The lights are not very bright in the evening. We were seated promptly and drink order was taken right away. Drinks were brought out and order was taken. They have a pickle bar with a few different types of pickles. The pickles were good and was happy we grabbed a bowl because the food took a very long time to come out. I ordered a bacon burger and my spouse ordered a patty melt. When our order finally came out I was served a different burger. I just ate it because I didn't want to any longer. Our food was good and the wait staff was very nice. I have not had Goldies in several years, it seems they are all closing around the Tulsa area. Decided to stop in at the Goldie's in Owasso and received terrible service, the greeter didn't say anything to us other than how many? She seated us and we waited, and we waited and we waited. I finally went and found the greeter and asked her if a waiter had been assigned to us, she asked me if someone had already seated us, I said yes, you did, she told me a waiter would be right with me, I waited several more minutes and she showed up at our table just to tell me she would be with me in a few minutes. I waited 5 more minutes and still nothing. We got up and left. I guess I understand now why they are all closing. read more

My boss and I were passing through and stopped for lunch. I ordered the chicken mushroom and swiss with onion rings. My boss ordered the BBQ sandwich with fries. My chicken was extremely juicy and very tasty. The cheese was plentiful and the mushrooms delicious. My onion rings came with a side of honey mustard which was delicious. The rings were hot and crispy. My boss definitely enjoyed his food because he couldn't stop talking about it. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I would go here again and try one of their burgers, they look delicious. read more

I was not pleased with my food or their team leaders interest in correcting my experience. The main manager did eventually give me a refund. This was an hour after my original complaint. It's Goldies. It's a Tulsa Tradition. That said, they're seriously good burgers. Nothing pretentious.... no kobe or wagyu beef... no exotic ingredients. Just solid, great testing burgers and steaks. This place is like Coney-I-Lander. If I had a dollar for every burger I've eaten here, I'd be well off. The basic Goldie's special is as good as it gets in a hamburger. Double the meat, and you've got a real meal on your hands. The fries are always good, and let's face it..... those pickles..... am I right? Who can NOT scarf up at least one bowl of pickles while you wait for your meal? For those unfortunate few who haven't actually eaten a Goldie burger, there are generally two types of burgers in the world.... diner burgers and 'gourmet' burgers. I hate that term, because it's not always used appropriately. Goldies' are not diner burgers. Diner burgers are smashed flat and flash cooked on a flat top. They have a distinctive, wonderful flavor all their own. Goldie's burgers are seasoned with something that can only be described as powdered magic. Then they're grilled up to the doneness you specify. From there, you decide how you get it. On a bun w cheese and bacon, open faced over texas toast smothered in gravy, you name it. I've had their grilled chicken club a few times, and it's as good as any you'll find anywhere. There's a reason Goldie's is a Tulsa Tradition. Just go eat there. You'll get it. read more

When I'm in Owasso for the week, this is my lunch time stand by. The service is always fast and friendly, and the place is clean and well kept. Like most chain restaurants, I already know what I want the moment I walk in the door. It never takes to long to have it brought to the table after it's ordered. I like the Goldie's dinner cooked med well, with fries. It delights the taste buds and if filling. If you like a good burger stop in you'll be glad you did! read more

I've eaten here many times but have to say I am very disappointed with the overall service. They did take our order really quick but then we didn't see our food for another 50 min. It was just my family and one other. They were not busy but for some reason we could not get a drink refill until I went back and asked. I have been coming to Goldies since the 70s, and I have never had an experience this bad. First, I had asked for a medium burger, but got a well done one, which I had to send back. So by the time I got the right one, my girlfriend was done with hers. The server admitted he put it in wrong. I like an energetic server, but this guy was flighty, always in a hurry & leaving before we were done talking & didn't seem focused. There only 2 other tables in the place, so it was not like it was busy. The 2nd burger seemed underdone to me, but it was getting icy out & I didn't have time to wait for a 3rd one, so I ate it anyways. I gave my girlfriend a bit also. Big mistake. We got very ill and were on the toilet most of the rest of the night and morning with horrible diarrhea. I went back to take the 2nd patty that I had got to go and heat up later back to them the next morning. I was told they did not ever give refunds. I was told that I would have to call corporate (I told her that SHE should do that, it wasn't MY job) and deal with them and it was suggested that "You know, the flu IS going around..." I asked to talk to the manager, and was told she was in the back cooking, i would have to wait a while. (There was no one else there.) I said no, I had waited long enough, she needs to get out here right now. After another 5 minutes or so (it took about 15 minutes total to deal with all this), she finally came back out with who was identified as the district manager, and she grudgingly gave me $4 back (no tax) and told me in a tone you would scold a child with that they could do it THIS time, but never again. I said no problem, I wouldn't ever BE back! One last thing, my date always orders the kids meal since she is on a diet, and we have never ever had an issue with that. They attempted to charge us for the pop separately although it is supposed to come with the meal. When we challenged that, she explained that they have to do that when an adult orders one, since they have refills and kids do not! This change of policy was not on the menu or explained to us at the time. This is an outrage. You all are charging PLENTY already, in my opinion. If you are going to be this cheap and petty, we are done here. Also, they thoughtfully pulled up the entry carpet, so the floor was slick, and I had to go back in to warn them that it was icy out front. The manager even admitted it was when she was talking to us that it was getting slick, but still did had put any salt down. The next day, the carpet was STILL on the bench, and the floor was STILL slick. I pointed this out to the server, and he actually argued with me about it! Amazing. I have never seen a restaurant with such arrogance and disregard for their customer's happiness or safety. The attitude of "The Customer is Always an Annoyance" is ridiculous. I will miss Goldies. It has always been my favorite place to eat, but this was the last straw. read more
