This is regarding an UberEats order made on March 22, 2019. I made an order for a Strawberry Milk Tea and an Earl Grey Milk Tea, both of which came up to $13.42 (after additional delivery fees). Note that the prices for each drink also matched up to the amounts normally charged in-store for the large size drinks ($5.75 for one drink with the boba added and $4.25 for one without). I received both drinks fairly quickly, but immediately noticed that both drinks were medium sized. I called the store to see if any kind of mistake was made with the drinks, and they said they would call back regarding it. It has been a few hours since the call was made, and I still haven't gotten word back from the store. I've contacted UberEats with the issue as well, and was simply told "their issue was up for review" as well as nothing being anything done to correct/refund the order. I've been a regular to this location for a few months now, but I'm gonna have to go to this place in person for now on if I want my order c correctly. Be warned if ordering from this place through delivery apps, as it appears they don't list their drink sizes at all. UPDATE (4-26-2019): Ubereats orders appear to now list the correct size options!! Got the Milk form coffee. Very strong and not overly sweet. The best part is that they didn't cheat me like those greedy asses at 7 Leaves when I asked for less ice. Thumbs up!! read more

Out of all the tea shops that came from Taiwan to the States, Gong Cha is the one that tasted the most similar to its Taiwanese counterpart. Everything is similar, except for the pricing, of course. You will never find $2 boba milk tea in the United States. () I usually get the milk tea series. I have tried Early Grey and Oolong Milk Tea and they are both very delicious. The tea taste is prominent but isn't to the point where it is bitter when you choose the no sugar option. I'm a sweet tooth, but I absolutely recommend getting the earl grey milk tea with 50% of sugar and go easy on the ice. I like Gong Cha a little bit better than Share Tea or other tea house in the area. Give it a try and see how you'd like it compared to other tea places around. You're going to spend $5 anyways, you might as well find a place that serves good quality tea. Gong Cha is one of them for me. I was pretty excited to see milk foam on their menu so I decided to give Gong Cha a second chance. I ordered a milk foam green tea with 30% sweetness. Getting a tea drink with little sugar in it will tell you how well they make it. Unfortunately, it tastes like water with a hint of tea. I had this same problem when I got a milk tea drink when they first opened. I chalked it up to grand opening mistakes, but apparently it's just not good tea. I will not be getting drinks here again. So the store info on this Yelp page says that the place is quiet and good for working. I beg to differ. I came here with my laptop and earbuds to try to get some work done, but unfortunately the store music was so loud that despite turning my computer volume up to 100% and maxing out on all other volume settings, I still could barely hear my podcasts over the blaring music. People were sitting by us and were very loud as well. There are at least outlets, but the 3 or so tables for studying will sit 2 people max. Also, they messed up my drink. I asked for 50% sugar, but it tasted so sweet that I asked to get it remade. At least it wasn't a big hassle to get it fixed. read more

Friendly and Quick Service. I've been coming here since before Corona hit, and let me tell you they've maintained awesome service and great drinks throughout their pickup service. Only suggestion for people picking up an order (during this COVID-19 ordeal), make sure to be at the store on time if not early, you're not allowed inside so they place your drinks/food outside once it's ready, so you can pick it up. :/ So keep that in mind Incase you're running late, your food/drink will be sitting outside ...in the sun.. read more

Gong Cha is a tasty place since drinks are made from real tea rather than powders. My personal favorites are definitely Oolong Milk Tea, Lychee Oolong Tea, and Sparkling Rainbow Lychee. Brewed teas tend to be on the sweet side, so I often get 30% sugar. Sugar and ice levels are all customizable, so be sure to take advantage! read more

They use non dairy creamer and they do offer vanilla soy milk too. Their 50% sweet level is not consistent unfortunately. Some drinks taste less sweeter than others when I order 50% sweet. Their boba balls are chewy and standard. DO NOT ORDER THE GRASS JELLY. It taste like tires yes tires. I couldn't finish my drink. Their earl grey milk tea is good though. Great place! I love how you can customize your drink as much as you like - even down to the amount of ice and sweetness. Also, their lids allow you to drink your beverage without a straw - I love that! If you get boba, they do have straws of course. I got the Milk Foam Brown Sugar Oolong Tea, light sweetness and ice. Long line, likely because it just opened. But you get your drinks quickly once you order. The boba pearls have a good texture, cooked well. Milk teas are non-dairy. I tried the green milk tea with boba and foam. It was decent, but I felt it was more on the milky side than tea side. I wonder if the milk foam takes away from the tea flavor? Not sure. It tasted good in general, and I would come back. Portion sizes are appropriate to cost. Customer service was great! Also, they have the 5 Star thing where you can rack up points. Yay!! I'm so happy they opened a Gong Cha near my house. This location is very clean and trendy. Staff is so friendly and helpful in explaining the different drinks that they have. I love the fact that I get to customize the amount of sweetness of the drink cuz most milk teas at other places are too sweet for me. I got the special Earl gray milk tea (I believe that's what it's called) and it comes with boba and pudding and I customized to just 30% sugar .... it was the best drink I've ever had!!! I would of gave them 5 stars if the drinks were good.... the only thing I really recommend to have is there fried fish balls!!! Gong Cha is definitely one of my favorite boba spots and this review is not to criticize their entire brand. However, I was a bit disappointed in their marble series, specifically the "Marble Matcha". Don't get me wrong, the taste was still great, but I just thought the picture advertised is a bit misleading. But despite the great taste, I don't know if I would have paid almost $6 again for this. If I knew this was what I would get, I would have tried another matcha milk tea on their menu for a better price with the same quality and taste. I hope this review is informative if you plan on trying the marble matcha. Bottom line is- look is deceiving but the taste is still good lol. Overall, I still love Gong Cha, but they should definitely provide more accurate pictures of their drinks (most pics are accurate though). read more
