Good Beauty is the place to go!! The staff and owners are extremely friendly and Blair in particular is amazing! I have been going to her for the past year and can't say enough great things about her! Everything from updos, highlights to even some funky purple hair... she rocks at it all! I have received so many compliments on my hair even from another salon owner in Orlando, FL who will be doing my updo for my destination wedding in January. She said "I don't know who did your hair recently, but definitely go back and see her before the wedding. This updo will look amazing with your color". I really wanted to like this place. My friend stated she had a great experience But sadly it really fell short from the salon experience I was hoping to get. The salon is nice and minimalistic with a clean aesthetic feel. I asked for a simple upkeep on what I usually get which is a layered cut with not too much length take off. I felt like my stylist was rushing to get me in and out within the hour. She barely made conversation only with her coworkers. Did not show me how the back of my hair looked and worst of all didn't ask how I wanted my hair styled. I have volumous Latina waves and i love my wild hair. Apart from hearing the whole- "you have a lot of hair" speech I left with flat whitewashed hair, straighten hair. My hair looked like a generic soccer mom. She didn't ask me how I wanted it and that at the end of the day is what really bothered me from the service. I hope this only speaks of my stylist and not on the business. read more

Love this place, so I went in because I decided to pamper myself a bit, I didn't want to spend loads on a haircut so I just made an appointment online with any hairstylist. But Heidi was great, I will definitely go back, she recommended some products for my hair which I did purchase because pantene wasn't cutting it, The place wasn't crazy busy but I did not mind at all, she took her time and my hair had never look so flawless, I recommended this spot to my sister because she has curls and most places she goes to don't know how to deal with her sensitive scalp and curly hair. She had nothing but good things to say. They blow dry your hair so it stays smooth and silky. They don't have parking but there is street parking and they make a good cup of coffee for clients who are getting their hair done. Love. Love. love this hair salon read more

I have a hard time finding a salon/stylist and staying with them and I FINALLY found them! Good Beauty is in my neighborhood so I thought I'd try them out. I immediately loved the salon when I walked in and everyone is so friendly. I LOVED how Heiddy cut and styled my hair so much the first time that I went back to her again when it was time to cut a couple inches off and this time I also had a treatment done that made my hair feel amazing. Heiddy is amazing, her service is great, I love how she's done my hair and both times I walked out of there loving how I looked. She also made my night easier because she curled my hair before going out for dinner haha. I'll be back soon so she can dye my hair. Thank you Heiddy and Good Beauty!! read more

I had a good experience here overall, but the prices are really high. I was told that my single process color would be 81 dollars on the phone, but in the chair I was told it would be 150. No idea why the price jumped so astronomically. My simple manicure on natural nails was 27 dollars. I am a little shocked. I hope the employees are making a good salary with health benefits. I liked my stylist and the color looks good, but it's twice as expensive as other salons, including Maxine and other high end places downtown. Too bad. read more

I am constantly changing my look but still sticking with a balayaged/rooted style and every time...I mean EVERY time it looks flawless! And to top it off she is so damn sweet!! Please do not come here. I dont know how has the biggest chip on their shoulder the stylists or the owner Carla.. Every time I have walked in their salon they all looked at me like I wasn't rich enough or good looking enough to have a service done there. Bad customer service! You are supposed to treat everyone with respect and compassion. Also everytime I have asked about a price for a service they say they are unable to do it!!! Horrible! Why even open up a salon if you are going to do that. I ended up going somewhere else and they ended up doing my hair effortlessly when Good Beauty said they couldnt, this has happened twice already. Good Beauty is a huge popularity contest, the owner only cares about looks and people with money.. Save your time, energy, and stress and go somewhere else. You would be doing yourself a HUGE favor!!! read more

Natalie B. is absolutely fantastic!!!!! Love her!! This was my first time at Good Beauty - that was last Saturday & Yelp doesn't have enough room for all the great compliments I have for Good Beauty Salon & for Natalie B.!!!! As soon as I walked into the salon I was greeted by all smiling faces!! :)) The whole salon is just really upbeat with great music playing - I knew every song & sang every song - I might add!! Natalie took her time & explained to me my color and what I needed to achieve the color I wanted. She took her time with the extensions that I already had & gave me a trendy haircut!! Everyone at Good Beauty Salon is professional and personable - & they make you feel so comfortable getting your hair done there. Carla the owner is amazing!!! After Natalie B. was finished with my hair - Carla came over to Natalie's station & complimented Natalie on a great job with my cut & color!!! That definitely made both Natalie & myself feel great!!!
