At this point, I am a regular at Good Catch Cafe, and today, I tried a dish that had always caught my eye! The lobster bisque with instant noodle. First of all, this dish is not cheap whatsoever, but I will say it is 100% worth the price. This dish comes with a good amount of lobster and deliciously cooked instant noodles. The lobster bisque portion of the dish comes separately, so it does not come soggy (smart!). The bisque is rich and tasty, and one of the biggest surprises for sure. I usually get the curry pork cutlet, but this dish may come into my usual rotation! One final thing to add for those who have never tried this restaurant before is that you can not do reservations, so you will need to come and add yourself to the waitlist on the device at the entrance and they will text you when the table is ready. i have definitely been sleeping in this place! Tried good catch with my friend for brunch and the food did not disappoint! portion sizes were big and most items come with a free drink (no additional cost for cold drinks either!!) i really liked their baked seafood rice and also their thick toast with peanutbutter and condense milk. Definitely fried nicely and has a delicious coating if condense milk. The milk tea was also very yumm. Come early because the wait is LONG if you are trying on a weekend. I had no idea this place converted to a HK cafe so long ago! Came by with my family and we ordered through the app. Super easy. What was shocking - the food came out minutes later. So some of it was just luke warm, and we could tell a few of them were made ahead of time. Chicken wings were drowning in sauce. I couldn't eat it. But I could see why someone might wanna order the wings with beer for a game night. I did love the Cajun fries that came with the order. The seafood sauce baked spaghetti was not good. It was the weird faux cream sauce so it's not flavourful, and there were little pieces of shell all throughout. I was so careful and still hurt my teeth a few times. We gave up on it. The curry chicken rice was actually good. It was definitely the one we got made fresh because it was piping hot and the sauce was still runny, not coagulated like the rest of the dishes. Flavour was great! The rest of the dishes were so-so. Honestly, It's a cool looking place, but for good HK Cafe food, there's literally so many places in Markham to choose from. It's been quite a while (pre pandemic) since I've been to Good Catch in Downtown Markham and things have changed. It's now two places in one - Good Catch Cafe and Good Catch Boil. That's not a bad thing, just different, definitely more Asian influences in the Cafe menu, decor, and what the staff wear. We stopped in after work for a quick bite. It was a good thing my friend, Jennifer, was there to navigate through the menu and order for us. Lots of choices! We had the Chef's Pineapple Bun (Ham, Scrambled Egg, Tomato, Cheese) and Shrimp Toast With Potato Salad. Both were delicious! Hong Kong-styled cafe by day, seafood boil restaurant by night! It is the same location for both establishment. The hours might be a bit confusing but the seafood boil is open until late (just the cafe closes at 8pm). I've been to both, and I thoroughly enjoy the food and the vibe. Curry fishball is a must! I also recommend their baked rice and spaghetti dishes, their nostalgic Hong Kong-styled drinks and snacks, AND their house special pineapple bun sandwich - it is thicccc and really delicious! As for the seafood boil side, their PEI oysters are amazing. The honey garlic wing and fries platter is perfect for sharing and finger-licking good. They also serve alcohol and have beers on tap. Friend had to wait like 5-10 minutes to be seated, despite empty tables, and a hostess available. Once orders are in, food/drink comes super quick though. Was disappointed with their Portuguese chicken (under the baked double cheese section). Was expecting for the chicken to be fried/crispy, but instead was more like steamed chicken pieces, thrown on top of white (not fried) rice, and then cheese with some sauce poured on top. Was looking for hk style cafe in Toronto for our last day visiting, so decided to return to same cafe. The wait was about 30 mins without reservations on Boxing Day. We were there for early dinner so we were able to avoid the crowd. Upon arrival, I'd say this place has already left a bad impression, because of the server at the front. I'd say there's no service at all, or should I say, it's just as listed, HK style cafe. We ordered the shareable - 2lb Jumbo chicken wings for share. Servers were not attentive at all. Never asked if we needed water, nor did they provide us any plates for the shareable (we had to ask). Yes wings were of jumbo-sized and pretty juicy. Portions were generous. BUT the dry rub was not done thoroughly. It felt like the dry rub was just sprinkled on top instead of being nicely tossed, so part of the wings was seasoned while part of the wings wasn't. Amazing!! Great proportions and not too salty. SHRIMP TOAST: it's more bread than shrimp but that's kind of expected. However, that was a VERY thin layer of shrimp. Salad's kinda meh... It's the type you get at any HK diner. A little condensed milk and it could really elevate the salad. CHICKEN LEG: biggest chicken leg I've ever had, and seasoned just right! The meat was still juicy even after being fried, so that's definitely different. The fries were great. Classic good catch fries. Loved the whole thing. Complimentary cold HK tea/coffee - what a find! Came for dinner with some friends recently and I'm surprised there aren't more restaurants following suit. Good Catch Cafe brings back childhood memories of delicious comforting dishes that have become iconic HK cafe staples. I ordered the Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce with Rice. Truthfully, was slightly disappointed with the chicken that came out - it wasn't as crispy as I would've liked. The black pepper sauce was full of pepper flavour, albeit more salt would've been appreciated. The combination left me feeling a little unsatisfied. Also, more sauce please! Though, it definitely balances out with the large variety of HK cafe drinks that you can pair with your meal. Some may require an upcharge (i.e. vintage drinks in HK style), but it was nice to not see a surcharge for a classic iced lemon tea. The online menu is very intuitive, allowing you to customize your drink to your desire. I got mine with less ice, less sugar, and more tea - however truthfully, I wasn't able to taste the difference. Upsetting that all drinks came in a disposable plastic cup, but not the end of the world (for now). Unfortunately, we were put in bar side of the restaurant which was dimly lit with slightly overbearing music. To put into context, I wasn't really able to hear my friend at the other end of our 6-person table. I suppose that's what happens when the restaurant also offers Louisiana-inspired seafood items at Good Catch Boil House, also conveniently in the same space. Arrived at ~6:30pm with my party and there were plenty of seating/booths, however the restaurant became full within 15 minutes as game 6 of NBA playoffs between the raptors and the 76ers was on tonight. I'm sure a normal weeknight wouldn't be as packed but I'm glad the servers were attentive throughout the night. At this restaurant you can order from the HK cafe or the seafood boil menu; I opted for the HK cafe menu. Ordered a dish that was mixed: half baked spaghetti bolognese and half tomato sauce chicken steak on rice which came with a drink of my choice. I thought the dish was very tasty! It wasn't overly salty or sweet and it came out piping hot. The portion was also huge for the price. For my drink I ordered iced milk tea; strong tea flavour, not too sweet, and definitely above average compared to other HK cafe milk teas. I also shared a HK style poutine with my party, which had bolognese sauce and cheese over fries so I knew it would be good. I've never had a poutine with bolognese sauce before but I would definitely get it again so that over people could try. The restaurant had TVs in every corner and was a great location to watch the basketball game. I can see why this restaurant was as busy as it was due to the great food, service and ambience. Good Catch started as a seafood sports bar but has now dedicated half the restaurant to being a Hong Kong cafe serving up all your HK diner classics. The vibes on the cafe side are different and more well lit than the other. There was just one server on the cafe side and she was wonderful but inevitably the service was a bit slow. We've come here several times now and have tried the baked tomato sauce cutlet pork, the chicken with scallion ginger sauce and scrambled egg instant noodle, baked curry beef brisket rice and the shrimp and truffle scrambled egg rice. Flavours here are always good, but may be a bit on the oily side. The baked rice dishes have always come piping hot and cooked well. The shrimp and truffle egg dish was unique but a bit underseasoned. The curry beef brisket was tasty, has a bit of heat and topped with lots of cheese. Their meals also come with your choice of hot or cold drink with no upcharge for the latter. FYI - You're able to order from the seafood bar menu even if you're seated in the cafe side. They have some really good $8 "GC Choice" menu items which look like a good deal. read more

This is my second time at this HK style restaurant. It's nice they opened up the Good Catch Boil to serve their cafe items. This time around, I ordered their baked pork chop on rice. They're a little pricier than what I recall HK cafe prices to be like, but we can justify the pricing as their portions are very big. I managed to finish half and packed the rest home. This is a classic dish and I feel they can't go wrong. The pork chop to rice ratio was good and enough sauce to mix into the entire dish. Whoever made the decision to split up Good Catch Boil Bar and create Good Catch Cafe deserves the biggest raise. What an incredibly smart decision that probably brought a TON of business. Boil Bar: kinda niche, only really for dinner, gigantic space that never fills up. Cafe: can be open all day, people in Markham love eating out casually, can pretty much ensure a part of this huge restaurant is always filled. 10/10 business strategy and execution. On top of that, the food is great and service is impeccable! Good Catch Cafe is a HK style cafe. Think large menus, lots of carbs, and HK classics like milk tea, buttery pineapple buns (a signature here), and baked saucy rice dishes. On top of that they have some interesting variations like putting pork chop AND peanut butter inside a pineapple bun (weird, but I admire the creativity). Between the varied dishes I've tried: buns, curry, fried rice, noodles; everything was very tasty! The curry was very flavourful and the buns were nice and crisp. Though we waited awhile to get inside, the service was snappy. HK style cafes usually talk fast and move fast but this was really something. Someone from our group had to leave early so ordered a few minutes ahead of the rest of the group. By the time the rest of the group put in their order, his food was sitting in front of him. I did notice that there were certain empty tables inside, despite the long lines. I don't think it was because of COVID, my theory is that they only take as many people as they can handle at the moment to keep up that lightning fast accurate service. I had no idea this place was also a HK Cafe, the name made me think it was a crab boil place. Dropped by on a weekday for lunch, restaurant (bar side) was fairly empty with a few tables occupied. The other cafe side was pretty full. Service was kinda confusing, but maybe its quicker if you know the drill. So you get paper menus to make your choice, and to order you can scan the QR code and place your order yourself. We couldn't get it to work so we had to flag down the waitress to place our orders. I ordered one of their all day meals, spicy pork on vermicelli soup noodle. That came with egg and toast and a drink. I chose milk tea. 2 tips, cold drinks are the same price as hot drinks. Theres no uncharge for iced. And if you request milk to be on the side, you get to add as much or as little as you want. Noodle wise, it was pretty standard. Egg was cooked quite well. For my last review of the year, I would like to pay tribute to a favourite of mine that opened this year, Good Catch Café 萬好冰室. As if the original Good Catch seafood Boil House wasn't good enough as it was (check out my other review!) they decide to attach a HK café to it... my weakness! Since their opening in May 2021, I visit at regular intervals and am not shy about telling my friends about this place. Needless to say, I really like this place lol. "What should I order?", they ask. "Everything is good!", I tell them. I've had enough consistency to trust everything to be solid on their menu. Pick something, you can't go wrong! They deliver authentic HK flavours, which is really a fusion of Western and Chinese cuisine, which makes for some really interesting combinations. With a modern touch, the possibilities are endless! I'm a sucker for anything in a tomato base, so the tomato bisques really speak to me (recommend D04, best bang for your buck). But in fact, my go-to item is something so unique it cannot be found anywhere else in Markham (let alone GTA, so far) - it's the one and only (F04) 鴛鴦兩焗 - which is a ying and yang of spaghetti bolognese & fried rice in tomato sauce served with a chicken steak. I'm usually torn between having to choose one. But with this unique combined dish, I get 2-in-1! And I gotta tell you now, I duno how they do it, but their chicken is SO surprisingly juicy & tender! Eat it while it's hot and you'll see what I mean. It is sooo good they could really take this chicken alone, start a new fried chicken business and run with it. Just saying. My other deserving mention is their BBQ Pork (recommend C03). I don't know if it's made in-house or not, but I think it's a savoury treat. I've consistently gotten thick generous cuts, yummy lean/fat ratio. Although it could use a bit more honey, just my opinion. Also, Set Meals come with a bun or toast if the side carb is important to you. I also heard their curry dishes are really good, definitely looks good, but I haven't had the willpower to ditch my favorite (F04), so I have yet to try anything else, really. haha. Most importantly, each order comes with a drink! [Complimentary hot/cold coffee or tea] which covers your staple HK drinks: coffee, HK milk tea, ying yang, lemon tea, even Ovaltine. Their drinks are also solid. Anything else is an upgrade for a small charge. Complimentary drinks used to be customary for HK cafes (a soup and bun too if you want to stretch it), but many places today don't offer that anymore which adds an extra $3+ on top of your meal if you want to add a drink at other places. To me, this is so key to the very being of an HK café, so thank you GC café for keeping this up. Price-wise... I'd say it's a tad on the expensive side. If everything were $1 less then that would be very ideal, I think. However, I am dreaming, and the meal does come with a drink, not to mention their portions are generous, so that's enough to keep me happy. I really can't complain. One more thing to add: I just absolutely love the atmosphere here. I think it has to do with the high ceiling of this place. It's spacious enough to house the liveliest of chatter. Not to mention they absolutely aced the interior during renovations to keep it bright and modern. Everything from the Macanese/Portuguese tiles to the beautiful gigantic branded logo that takes up an entire wall to even the Chinese name they picked out for themselves, I love! No, it does not mean "good catch".. [insert brief Chinese lesson] (萬錦 = Markham; 萬 = 10,000; 好 = good / 萬好 = 10000 x good! ; 冰室 = a traditional cold drinking house from 1950/60's HK that is kinda losing its usage but is recently making a comeback as you can see with the newer HK cafes in Markham! ..and I love it!) Would be great too if some TVs showed HK shows/channels to complete the cultural atmosphere. Lastly, the logistics of things... Location is truly Markham. Parking is ample. Contact tracing simple with QR code check-in. Self-serve queue system with SMS notification. Service is friendly. Food comes out fast. Online ordering is efficient. With it being part of the Congee Queen group, I had a good feeling about their food consistency. So when Ruby A raved about her pleasant dine-ins, I was eager to drop by for brunch! The menu offers a variety of cheese baked rice / spaghetti dishes. At the waitress' behest, I tried Bolognese Spaghetti & Tomato Chicken Steak (F04) as a sampler of both options. If the name's a mouthful, so too was the hot baked dish containing delightfully sweet spaghetti & ground meat on one side, and chunky fried chicken cutlets atop rice on the other. Flavours melded well together with the cheesy crust on top, as classic HK takes on European food. Curry Beef Brisket (E03) was also on point; a hearty assortment of briskets cuts were slow braised within the savoury, spicy & rich curry tempered by coconut cream. HK style beef curry is a harmonious mix from British & Indian influences. Fatty tendon cuts, mixed in with leaner brisket cuts offered a nice texture contrast while releasing the curry's kick upon each bite. Portions were generous, and the accompanying milk tea was a big hit as well. Good Catch Cafe currently offers 10% off cash for takeout or dine-in; not that we need more incentive to go again. With authentic tastes, a reasonable menu, quick service & a pleasant patio, it's an easy choice as long as you can find a table! We were in the area and decided to try this HK cafe. At the front, you get to choose which side of the restaurant you want to be seated. The HK cafe or the seafood boil. The seafood boil was more like a sports bar with TVs around, and the HK cafe was a modern Chinese diner. There's a tablet at the front where you can sign up to be seated. The place is busy with customers coming in and out. We didn't have to wait too long walking in on a Saturday early evening. QR code in place for contact tracing and vaccine passports checked. Diners were occupying tables next to us though I say the tables are reasonably well spaced apart. I browsed through the menu and almost ordered my default pork chop tomato. Upon asking, the server recommended the truffle sauce (white sauce) because of the fragrant taste, and it's something different. I went with the recommendation on spaghetti, and we also chose another item on the menu that had a "thumbs up" recommendation: the minced shrimp and pork patty with eggs on rice. Both dishes were delicious, and I enjoyed my saucy truffle dish that perfectly coated all the noodles. The milk teas, both hot and cold that came with the meals, were also good. I've seen so many friends post about this restaurant and finally had the chance to try it today. The satay beef with egg in a pineapple bun that I saw from Ruby A's review looked so intriguing. I've only seen a pineapple bun eaten as it is without anything else or with a slab of butter. When we entered we input our contact info into the screen by the host stand and I received a text informing me what number I was and that I would receive another text when a table would be ready. Then I scanned the QR code to fill out a covid-19 questionnaire. Make sure to keep the window open to show the hostess when your table is ready. We ordered the prawn and truffle scrambled eggs on rice and the satay beef with egg in a pineapple bun. Each order comes with a complimentary drink of hot/cold coffee, tea or lemon water. The food arrived fairly quickly. The pineapple bun got a little messy with the satay and beef oozing out but it was very flavourful. On the menu there's a spicy red pepper next to this item but, this was not spicy in the slightest and I cannot have a lot of spice. The rice came in a ginormous bowl, they provide a lot of rice! Even though 2 people split it we still had rice leftover to take home. I like that the takeout containers they provide are paper and it doesn't look like there's a plastic lining to them. The eggs were very smooth and silky. Turns out I'm not a fan of truffle but otherwise it was a good dish. I'd like to go back to try other dishes and snacks. read more

Been here several times and sadly I seem to fall out of love with Good Catch. I really enjoyed my first few visits but the food just does not seem to make me gravitate towards it anymore. We usually get their curry fish balls and the sauce is really good. You get around 15 balls. On this visit we got the scrambled truffle egg with shrimp over egg fried rice. The rice was really really dry. I think because the egg isn't too runny, there was essentially no 'sauce' so overall it felt really dry. Our other dish was better and it is the half spaghetti bolognese and half tomato sauce chicken over rice. The rice base is the same as the shrimp one so no comment. I really liked how sweet and saucy the spaghetti is. The tomato sauce is quite one note and feels a bit like tomato sauce from a can. Previously I tried their tomato soup/bisque with noodle and different toppings and that tomato base was very similar. So perhaps I just simply do not like their tomato sauce items :( Most of their main dish menu items come with a drink. Recently they changed it to coffee or teas only. I ordered a hot yin yang (half coffee half milk tea) and was charged an extra $1.50. As always, cold drinks have a surcharge. Their milk teas are pretty good and I would get again. We also tend to get their iced lemon teas. Quite a few times I can taste the sweetener and it feels like aspartame. Not a fan of the syrup they use. The swiss chicken wings were kinda disappointing. The neat kept sticking to the bones and wasn't very tender. Again, the macaroni tomato soup sucked bc the soup base was no bueno. One of my absolute favorite spots for a meal. I remember when I first came here and they only did their seafood boil menu. Then during the pandemic, they opened up their HK Bistro cafe side of the restaurant, and now, it's just expanded so that regardless of your seating, you can order from both their menus. I love this because you would come with a large group and there's something for everyone! As you can imagine, this means they have a large venue. One side is a sports bar kind of vibe with loud music and big TV screens for you to watch the game, while the other side is more of your typical HK Bistro type decor with cute drawings hung on the walls. Overall, I'd say cleanliness is on par. Service itself is very speedy - one of the best things about this place is that their food comes out super fast but also super hot. It's pretty impressive. Other than being seated by an employee, then later being brought your food by them, there isn't really much "service" by the servers themselves as ordering is done via QR code. I find this works really well though because of the loud environment, it minimizes errors in ordering. One of the things I love about this place is that their complimentary drinks for the cafe menu include cold drinks as well, free of charge, which isn't typical compared to other places. This means I usually opt for an iced lemon tea or iced milk tea which are delicious - you can easily customize these beverages in terms of their ice and sugar levels. From their cafe side of the menu, I love: - C09 BBQ pork with scrambled eggs on rice - F09 Seafood with creamy sauce on rice, with the seafood being (~3) mussels, (~4-5) clams, (~4-5) imitation crab, (~2-3) large shrimp (my favorite, repeat order!) - F06 Bolognese on rice - M05 Pork chop with scallion ginger sauce and scrambled eggs on instant noodles (though I must forewarn, this one does make you quite thirsty after) - S07 Mushroom grilled cheese sandwich (love that it comes with a side salad and their house potatoes are perfectly potato-y and crisp) From their Seafood Bar menu, I do enjoy: - Bacon mac and cheese - GC Burger (amazing price, especially since it comes with both fries and Caesar salad! Good Catch Cafe is now open for take out and delivery! It is a HK Cha-Chaan-Teng (also known as Hong Kong's tea-serving cafes). Their menu is fairly extensive and offers a variety of classic comfort Hong Kong-style Western dishes. Most meals come with a free hot OR cold drink! You can easily order online or through the Congee Queen Group App and service is quite fast; food is ready within 15-20mins. They share half of the space with Louisiana-inspired seafood restaurant and sports bar Good Catch Boil House and are currently doing reconstruction within the building. There are many free parking spaces (above or underground). Baked Pork Chop Rice is always something I go for when I am at a HK cafe. At Good Catch, they have the double cheese baked tomato pork chop rice. The pork chop crusted with breadcrumbs sits on top of rice and is covered by a gooey cheese blanket. The sauce is seeped into the rice but one thing I noticed is that they go very heavy on the tomato paste which I was not a fan of. If you are looking for the classic Baked Pork Chop with Tomato Sauce, this is not it. Baked Portuguese Coconut Chicken is an extremely popular dish originating from Macau and found in almost all Hong Kong style cafes. It's a milder version of curry using tumeric instead of curry spices and additional coconut milk and evaporated milk. Their version of Double Baked Portuguese Chicken was standard. The dish starts off with a layer of fried rice and chicken, bell peppers and onions, which is then topped with a mild coconut curry sauce and finished with a cheese. The chicken is tender and moist and smothered in creamy coconut sauce. It's not spicy at all, instead it's aromatic, creamy, rich, and little sweet. Comforting Macanese dish that you'll gobble one bite after another! One of the best authentic Asian dishes you should try is Hong Kong's beef brisket curry. Their Double Baked Brisket Curry rice was absolutely delish. The addictive delicious curry melds completely with the rice; they don't skimp on the sauce! It's deeply flavored, leaning more towards savory-spicy, with slight sour-bitter-sweet balance. Spicy but not overpowering. The brisket is tender and tasty. It would have been nice to have some potatoes since the dish only comes with meat, rice and sauce. The satisfying deep layers of flavors & luring aromas made this my favorite out of the ones I've tried so far. Since the 'cha' in 'cha chaan teng' means 'tea', an order of old-fashioned HK style milk tea is essential. Their milk tea is very smooth but the tea could be stronger. Their lemon iced tea was less impressionable; not a lot of tea flavors and watered down by the abundance of ice. Overall, I will revisit to try more of their delicious sounding food. This place is mediocre. Pineapple bun w/ satay beef and scrambled egg is kinda weird. I do not recommend this item. Flavours don't mix well especially when they butter the bun. The spaghetti and tomato chicken dish was pretty tasty but also very heavy since it is quite saucy so please be careful not to over order amount of dishes. Maybe this dish is good for 2 people. Ordering dinner through their website is very easy and payment through their credit card. Although in hindsight, I will order by phone next time. Apparently there is a 10% discount for cash payments? On a Saturday night, the online order took roughly 15-20 minutes to prepare. You receive an email confirmation email after putting in the order. When it is time to pickup your order, I received a text message that my food is now ready. You will need to enter Good Catch Boil to get your order. It was fairly busy inside the restaurant and on the patio. There's plenty of free parking next to the restaurant. We ordered the egg, shrimp and truffle dish with a bed of rice. As well, we ordered the curry beef brisket with rice. While the truffle taste came through, everything else was bland. The curry beef brisket was good and fairly spicy. There is a good amount of beef brisket which is a bit fatty and very tender. The rice also included a potato. Overall, a bit disappointed with the egg, shrimp and truffle. I wish there was more flavor. The curry beef brisket is good, but there are also many places that serve this dish. read more

Location/Service This place is located right in the heart of downtown Markham - by Enteprise Blvd where the Cineplex/Goodlife is. Plenty of parking around the plaza and also underground. This restaurant is actually an extension of Good Catch Boil - where they have now split it into a HK Cafe and their Seafood setup. As of right now, they are still doing interior renovations to give that split distinguish themes - as such, they are doing as much social distancing measures as they can. Staff are pretty friendly and orders are usually ready by the time at pickup. You can place orders via phone, or on their website or via their Congee Queen app. Food I tried a few items at this place and overall they are very tasty. What I recommend: 1. BBQ Pork on lard Rice with 2 Sunny Side up Eggs - this one is referenced to a classic dish to a Stephen Chow movie . The BBQ is a little on the fattier side, but very tender and juicy. Adding the lard, fried egg, soy sauce made everything very comforting. 2. Bolognese Spaghetti - classic HK dish. Like the huge quantity portion provided. Pretty standard for this and comforting as well - the sauce wasn't anything salty or bland. 3. Noodle in Tomato Bisque with Scrambled Egg with Swiss Chicken Wings - I particularly like this one. The tomato soup is very hearty and smooth. The chicken wings are marinated well with their swiss sauce, and matching it with the scrambled egg is a perfect pair 4. Prawn and Truffle Scrambled Egg on Rice - similar to the above, the scrambled egg portion is very smooth, soft. Adding a hint of the truffle adds a bit more flavour. The prawn are huge in size - but overall quantity it felt the rice was more overwhelming. 5. Crispy Fried Chicken Leg - this is a huge portion, if you decide to add on for about $6. Crispy skin on the outside and juicy tender meat on the inside. Definitely something you can share or order as a quick snack. Overall this place is great - I love how there's more HK cafe options in the area. It's nice that restaurants are adapting to the environment and customer needs to provide better food offering. Was extremely hungry after going on a fishing trip. I heard good things about this Hong Kong cafe and boil/ bar. It was packed but conveniently they have a wait list option. I got seated quite quickly the staffs were quite attendent. I ordered the half rice chicken cutlet and half spaghetti meat sauce. It was so filling, I feel like the items here you can definitely eat for like two people. The quality was really good and The taste reminded me of the food that I used to eat in Hong Kong.
