If I wrote this review 6 months ago it would have more stars. What I like: coffee, pastries, sandwiches, English muffin bread (grilled with butter? OMG yes please), and the veggie burger. I used to like their strata and quiches. I used to like their friendly service. Until a recent visit. It's 7:30 in the morning, I ordered strata to start my work day to learn a few minutes later they ran out the day before. I ordered broccoli and cheese quiche, heated, to go. I didn't mind the wait to heat (about 10 min), I sat with my coffee and caught up on Words with Friends. When ready, I walked to my office and readied to eat. One look at the quiche and I was disappointed. The top wasn't golden brown in sporadic places. The top was entirely burnt. I tried a tiny piece and the only taste was that of burnt cheese. I couldn't eat it. I'm kind of a snob with food experiences, especially when I'm paying for a meal. BUT my expectations aren't unrealistic. Before calling the cafe, I solicited feedback from colleagues to be sure I wasn't being overly judgmental. All agreed - the top of the quiche was burnt. When I called to let the cafe know that I was disappointed, couldn't eat the quiche and requested a replacement. Instead of "We're so sorry you didn't like it" I got a lecture on oven settings and cooking process. I was speechless. If a customer takes the time to call you to let you know, take the time to "listen" to what they're saying. I returned the burnt quiche, picked up an unheated quiche to heat in the microwave. It was less burnt (but still burnt) since it wasn't reheated in an oven, and non-flaky crust (the crust is usually divine). In a competitive market place, you want your customers to return. I was really disappointed at how this was handled. It, and the quiche, left a bad taste in my mouth. And sadly, it was Wednesday ... veggie burger day. I would have gone back for lunch. read more

Absolutely delicious! The first thing I had several months ago was the doughnut muffin and it was to die for.... on weekends they add maple frosting and bacon - piled high! My family fights over them. The chicken sandwich is fresh with chicken they roast right there... along with everything else they offer. The variety in sandwiches and baked goods is huge and everything is super fresh. I haven't tried soups or salads so I can't comment on those. I can't think of another place in North Andover that offers this sort of menu and variety. Nice place, friendly people, very clean. read more

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! My husband and I have been here at least a half dozen times; with and without friends. We found it to be absolutely perfect. From their bacon and egg sandwiches, bagels and lox, fresh baked goods, and their scrumptious yogurt, fresh fruit and granola; all of which are freshly made daily, you will find something to make you smile! I have not yet been there for lunch, but the word on the street is...Great! It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, always buzzing, but never too crowded to sit and enjoy the day as long as you want. read more

Absolutely LOVE the Good Day Cafe! I actually wait to have coffee until I get to work right near the cafe, as their organic coffee is just amazing. Wonderful sandwiches and salads with always fresh ingredients and I really enjoy how all their meats are roasted in house. Wonderful egg white sandwiches too! I buy pastry treats for my kids and they are always fresh and very tasty. I just can't say enough! It was a great day for us that work in the area when they opened. We even come by on the weekends after church or if we're in the area. read more

OMG! Good Day Cafe is awesome. I love everything about it. The coffee is awesome, very balanced and I love that you get refills. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious and prepared fresh daily. The pastries, say no more!!!! My husband Rick, my son Nate and nana visit regularly and Nate recently tried the hot 'Maple Cider" and was on cloud nine. I plan to try this weekend. You gotta try their 'popovers'. Can't say I've had anything bad here. We come here just about every Sunday for breakfast. Amazing pastries and bagel sandwiches. My daughter is obsessed with the donut muffin, it is SO good! Also used Good Day for Christmas gifts for my office. We had coffee cakes delivered to around 50 different places, Kathy was so easy to work with to coordinate everything. We received so many compliments on how delish they were. I highly recommend Good Day! read more

I had to be talked into going here by my kids but now I'm hooked. My kids love this place, especially on the weekends when they have some freedom to hang with their friends. It's really the best and only breakfast and LUNCH venue that I'd reccomend in that whole East Mill area of North Andover. Get's a little busy at lunch during the work week but worth it if you can manage your time around the lunch rush. read more

Having tried most every coffee house within a 20 mile radius I can say that the Good Day Cafe makes the most awesome cappuccino anywhere. I prefer mine "dry". Just foam. Not much milk. It is strong but not bitter at Good Day. The same can not be said of anywhere else. Funny thing is one of my best friends owns a cafe/coffee house and I still go to Good Day. read more

So happy to have Good Day on High Street!! Great sandwiches, desserts and a great selection of teas / coffees! The staff does a fantastic job on all our catering orders. They've been seen wheeling the carts through the snow so we have food for our meetings. Once you've been in a few times they know your name and are quick with a hello and a smile. read more

Eaten there for lunch twice now. Both times, the meals were exceptional. Their Mediterranean Sandwich is delicious. And they have these donut muffins that are great too. The decor is nice too. A classy little place in an old factory building. Does get a little crowded around lunch time but, I guess that's expected when you're serving great food. read more

A true gem of a place in North Andover. I often meet up with friends on Saturday mornings for coffee and breakfast. The coffee is so nice and all the bakery treats are homemade. Often stop here for breakfast sandwiches on the weekends and they have also catered a family event for us. Top notch across the board. Quality of food (Biscuit egg sandwich is pretty darn good) and service has been wonderful. And as an ice coffee fan...they have some of the best I have had in the area. Happy customer. read more
