We recently visited Good Dough and had a great experience! The atmosphere was super cute and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. I tried the Georgia On My Mind kolache, which was filled with peaches and topped with a bourbon glaze--it was a perfect mix of sweet and rich, and the flavor combo definitely lived up to the name. We also had the ChaCha Cha, which had a fun birthday cake vibe--sweet, colorful, and nostalgic in the best way. To top it off, we grabbed a classic chocolate chip cookie, which was soft, buttery, and just the right amount of gooey. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be back to try more!

Talk about some good food. This place is THE kolache place. Hands down best I've ever had. I want to go every day if I could. So many unique flavors and each one just as tasty as the last. I couldn't recommend this more.

And I really like hotdogs! Just not in my donuts.

Wow- this was the best in all of Texas! I am a northerner and have been traumatized with mystery meat donuts (aka kolaches) in the past and have always had a fear of them. However, Chef Mary and her team washed away my PTSD with sprinkled cake flavored kolaches! I am so #blessed!

We tried dessert first; chocolate mousse and the ginger bread man cookie. They were all right but nothing spectacular. What does stand out are the kolaches. They were pretty fantastic! (So good I forgot to take pics). The servers both times offered their suggestions based on their preferences. The place is small with only takeout but it's worth checking it out. Take a look at the awards !!! We will definitely be back.

We decided to stop there while on vacation. The guy behind the counter was fantastic and had all the great recommendations. We always ask for their favorites and he didn't lead us wrong. Try the BOI (Born on the Island) - it's a sweet and salty caramel that checks all the boxes. For savory I had a sausage gravy stuffed roll that was amazing. He even had a coffee shop recommendation.

    Various kolaches with fun names

Good Dough has some serious good dough. It's not just a clever name! So many delicious kolaches both savory and sweet to choose from. We decided to get a variety of flavors and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the 'everything but the bagel' and 'pineapple upside down' and my husband really liked the 'Chris P. Bacon' (get it?). Service was quick and they also have a fridge with various grab and go meals and sides. I was really tempted by the giant cookies and will be trying one on our next visit. Great little shop to grab some tasty pastries in the morning!

If you do not feel like waiting and are in a rush, this is not the place for you. Please come back when you have time to enjoy the atmosphere and the amazing food. I was telling one of the servers to please pass along my compliments to the chef and the owners. I was having a rather rough morning on our first visit. The best way I can describe the deliciousness of the food was that I went from being a little bit meh, to a strong to feeling like I was having a warm hug. I ordered the biscuits and gravy my other half ordered the berries and cream cinnamon French toast, and my little ordered the Mickey Mouse pancake with cinnamon. We came back another day and all ordered the same thing again, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The inside of the building is quite rustic. Even though you are waiting a bit for your food, there is so much to look at that time just passes by. Even in the bathroom will keep you occupied, and not just with the normal activities . The staff was amazingly friendly. On the second day, the gentleman server did not know whether the Mickey Mouse pancake should have the cinnamon bun toppings on it (you know,...because kids might start bouncing off of the ceiling), or sprinkles and whipped cream. We requested the latter and he came over and put on a tiny show for my little. The gentleman made a fun little show of putting whipped cream on Mickey and let my little decorate his own pancake. Definitely a 10/10 experience and we will be returning when we are around these parts again.

As it turns out, it was close to everything I dreamed of, minus one detail. I felt the potatoes were a bit too prevalent, and each bite was overwhelmingly starchy.
