However, it can be quite overwhelming as there's so much to see and so many options. I had to take a break and step back and reevaluate exactly what I wanted in my closet as well as new kitchen area. A lot of the items were clearly marked, but the prices weren't always labeled or or in the correct spot. I had to bring up a few items to the front cashier to find out their actual cost. Overall, this place is good to get an idea of exactly what you are looking for in designing your home. There are staff around asking if you need help. There's also a college shop area which is great for getting items for students in their dorms. Good timing as most students are back in store. Overall layout of store was good and easily marked. Pricing can be a bit high. Found similar items on Amazon for a better deal.

Ashley was our 3rd stop for shopping and I was able to find something that I liked. This is not a recliner but rather an oversized comfortable as hell chair complete with a pillow. Our experience at Ashley's was complemented by sales professional extraordinaire Tim Doan. Tim was not only helpful but he also fought to get us $100 off the already discounted chair and free delivery. We received the chair today and it has proven thus far to be a good investment. Ashley seems to get some brutal reviews but our experience was nothing less than 5 stars. Also, our delivery people were very kind and helpful.

It was fun shopping here except I found on my receipt I was charged for an extra item and was not given the 55% off sale on a Cadbury product, which was clearly marked. I highly recommend you spot check your receipt carefully before leaving the store. I'm toying with the idea of returning to bring this up to them. What an inconvenience!

I made Hank's biggest sale of the day two hexagonal head metric screws for 27 cents each. I went to San Diego Ace Hardware in Clairemont Square, where they were charging 95 cents for each screw, vs Hank's 27 cents. I said NO, not paying $2 for two 1.5 inch screws!!! Ace employee said it was expensive because that is now much a METRIC screw costs. I took one of the screws back to Hanks 2 weeks later because it was too short. Hanks happily gave me credit for the 27 cents so I could trade it for a screw half inch longer for onlyh 5 cens more, or 32 cents, when Ace wanted 95 cents for a shorter one.

Same with the bao buns. At no point were the porcupine meatballs even a thing. They were made prior, mentioned, and put on our plates. Everything was made in advance. So I paid to fill wonton wrappers and get printed out recipes I could find online. Also, we weren't even going to get to stuff the bao buns. They were going to have a group of people do each thing - 1 to stuff the buns and the other crab Rangoon except I said I wanted to do the buns too so everyone got to do a couple. Honestly the food was bland except for the bao buns. I won't be using their recipes. Truely disappointed and feel like I was swindled out of money. They should be more forthcoming about what this "cooking class" entails. It's not actually cooking.

I wanted to share the wonderful experience I had with Good Garage when they installed an overhead storage rack in my garage. From the start, everything went smoothly. Nick was great at keeping me informed and sent a message to provide the estimated time of arrival. Josue arrived right on time, and he completed the task within the timeframe he had estimated, which was impressive. After Josue left, we changed our minds and decided we wanted the rack to be raised higher. Josue was incredibly accommodating and came back the other day to make the adjustment. My garage when from cringe-worthy to facebook worthy within 2 hours. His rates are very fair. His personal service and enthusiasm are great! Eric from Good Garage was professional, prompt, and showed great attention to detail. I preferred to hire someone local rather than corporate but, since I had a smaller job, I received a lot of "not worth my time" responses from other companies. Robert was the first who matched/beat the Ikea quote and I honestly think he did a better job than an installer who is loyal to Ikea rather than the customer. Notably, the Ikea planner added several panels that were not needed to my order but Robert identified the extra pieces so I could take them back for a refund. Saved me almost $200! Everything installed is level and secure and Robert asked questions along the way to make sure that everything was installed the way I wanted it. I plan to call him for all future Ikea installs and recommend him to anyone who asks.
