Adam is hands down the best man for the job. I've used him to repipe a few of my rental properties as well as basic drain service or simple plumbing side jobs. Every tenant that has met him has called me immediately afterwards to express how professional and knowledgeable he was about the job. For the repipe projects, he pulls out the old rusty galvanized pipe rather than just leave it under the house for the next guy. Right before Christmas I noticed our water heater was leaking. Called around a few places and was not to satisfied with the customer service over the phone. Had them do removal of an old tank-style water heater (which was on its last legs), and installation of a Takagi tankless water heater, and upsizing the existing gas line to support it. Adam answered all my questions up-front, and he kept me in the loop the whole time on what he was doing, and why. Cost for the new unit plus installation was reasonable, and the whole thing took exactly as long as they said it would. Included getting city permits and getting through the city inspection process. Good Guys Plumbing is a reliable and no nonsense plumbing service that we used at our rental property. We had a leaking tankless water heater and called up several plumbing companies that were unable to diagnose the problem and finally we found GGP. They were able to get the whole unit replaced within a few hours at a very reasonable price. In addition, GGP is honest and values its customers. In our area, hard water is a huge problem and Adam consulted us about having filters installed. He was not pushy like other salesmen but said to call him up when we were ready because we wanted to try magnetic descaling before going to filters. I bought a house with old galvanized iron pipes and leaks in many of the drain pipes (found in the home inspection). I had a few companies coming over and giving me quotes for copper re-piping and fixing all the issues in the report. Some seemed unprofessional, some tried to intimidate me about awful things in the crawlspace. And then, Adam came. He assured he could do everything and gave me a very competitive quote. We had an 8 year old Takagi tankless water heater go out on us (hard water buildup). Good luck finding a company to service Takagi (the Takagi website is not current, most of the plumbers I called on that list either didn't even call me back or didn't service Takagi). After reading Yelp review on Adam (and how he helped another Yelper with his Takagi water heater), I called Adam. I had to leave 3 messages before he called me back (caught him at a busy time). That being said, once he engaged, he did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it. He showed up at the time he said (not a 2-4 hour window). I haven't even met him in person and coordinated all of this with him via phone while on vacation. He was honest and gave it to me straight. He could have repaired it and saved me some $ but he gave me his opinion as to why he would recommend replacing and a soliton for the hard water problem (filter). In the end, I took his recommendation. I would recommend him highly and just suggest you be persistent if he doesn't call back. read more

We had had Adam out three separate times now for three separate jobs. He has replaced our hot water heater under and the pipes leading to it when we had a broken pipe situation. He has replaced the valves under both master bathroom sinks, and finally Adam added an additional water shut off valve to make it easier for us to changed the water filleted for the house water filtration system. Adam is very knowledgeable on Takagi tankless water heater. We had a problem to produce hot water. Adam diagnosed the tank and figured out that it was not tank problem. Finally he found that it was shower valve which was installed opposite way. Adam re-installed valve and now it works. Adam is polite, on time, and skilled.
