I've frequented this spot since they opened and I'm just now writing a review. This pizza is top notch and I love living so close by. I know the owner Vincent, not only is he a genuinely kind and caring person but his pursuit of pizza perfection reaches an almost psychotic level and shows in every pie coming out of this small store front. I've missed dropping by for a slice when I'm walking by but I'm so happy I can still get my hands on a full pie when the craving strikes! Do yourself a favor and run, don't walk to Good Pie. The best vegan/plant based pizza I have EVER had. We drove from summerlin and it was beyond worth it. We had the Good Vegan and the vegan stromboli and are in food heaven. The sauce was amazing but THE CRUST!!!! My first visit did not disappoint. The staff makes the pizza even better. Just moved to Vegas about 5 months ago. Wanted to try Good Pie for some time now. Beautiful Sunday afternoon I come in. Get a Sicilian slice (pepperoni) and friend ravioli and a beer. Tom, the pizza maker, was super friendly and explained the pizza making process to us while assembling our vegan creation. He was friendly, kind, and worked fast. The attention to detail, care, and love he put into the food was remarkable. The pizza itself was cooked to perfection- the crust was crispy, the Numu vegan cheese melted beautifully atop the fresh veggies and DELICIOUS red sauce (might be the best red sauce I've ever tasted). Hands down some of the best pizza out there! Authentic Italian flour for the dough and local ingredients for toppings and I believe the mozzarella cheese comes from Nee York (or Italy... The girl behind the counter was rude, and I believe they just quote you any price that comes to mind. The place was empty, and this was at 12: noon, peak of the lunch hour. This is to the owner Vincent R., I never had an encounter with him, but reading his replies to all the one star reviews, he is rude, obnoxious and can't handle constructive criticism. With Vincent's attitude this place will not last for long. Never read such rude and condescending replies from any restaurant owner on Yelp. When I walked in I could tell right away it was gonna be good because is smelled like a legit NY Pizza joint. You can get a pie or by the slice. They have all flavors of Sanpellegrino by the can. They also sell Torrone if you have a little sweet tooth. I got a regular slice and my husband got a Detroit style, then we got a Grandma pie to go. The crust on my regular slice was perfect, their sauce is tasty, and just the right amount of orange grease dripped off the cheese. My husband was super happy with his slice too. This place looks and feels like a legit pizza spot that you hear about on from your east coast relatives and friends. I ordered the Margarita Pizza and a Good Pepperoni slice. Both of these pizzas are exactly what you expect when you say good solid, pizza. Perfectly firm crust with the perfect crunch when you bite in. Perfect sauce layering along with the cheese and basil for the Margarita and the Good Pep was a perfectly made pepperoni pizza from top to bottom. Update from 4-10-18 After my original review the owner contacted me right sway. The costumer service level at this location is amazing! I originally was never expecting a response, as most places do not care enough to response, but not here. He went out of his way to make sure my experience was amazing, made the pizza himself, and even found bacon for me! The pizza was delicious. Crust was crispy, the sauce was great. It was perfect. Im glad this place is close to work and if every experience is like today i will be a loyal costumer. I decided to order a pizza from here due to the amazing reviews. The place is minutes from work so it was also very convenient. Needles to say i am disappointed. My pizza was bland at best. I ordered a ham pizza (the ham is extra as is in most places) and my pizza barely had any. It was hard to find. I will probably go back and give it another try since it is close to work.
