Wow this place really impressed me. Their drinks were amazing but the food was a whole other story. I think they had the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It tasted so good I couldn't get enough. I got a Tiramisu Latte which was also delicious. I liked their Photo Booth and when we came, they were having a little market outside. Cute place!

LOTS OF SPACE Simply put, this place has a big interior and many tables for patrons. But it doesn't mean it's going to be easy to find a seat, or parking. But if you do manage, it has really good Potatoe tacos, breakfast sandwiches, and great baristas to prepare matcha/ coffee. And it's quick.

Lining up to order can take a good 15-20 minutes during peak hours. First I tried their rose chai, lightly spiced and full of flavor. The second time here I ordered the matcha latte and a ham & cheese croissant. The matcha tasted milky and subtle, while the croissant was okay with cream cheese used. I've heard good things about their breakfast burritos. Their service is overall pretty efficient as the folks behind the counter are in full view hustling making and heating orders. Mahjong has been popping up in many locations across SoCal, and it just so happens to be here at this Long Beach café. The events are being held here Sunday mornings about once a month. As usual, TAs are on hand to teach beginners, while more seasoned players are left on their own. This coincides with their Sunday morning jazz played inside the building as well as local artisans selling their crafts outside.

Awesome spot for WiFi and great coffee.... Had to kill some time in Long Beach while my dog got groomed, so I yelped coffee shop options with WiFi and landed here. Shop is spacious and super cute, while not being too loud to get work done. Barista was super welcoming, and I ordered the seasonal tiramisu latte. Espresso quality is great, latte itself wasn't too sweet, so overall a great experience and will be back the next time my pup has to get groomed and need a place to work.

There's only one word to describe this coffee shop - WhatAVibe! Came here on early on a Saturday morning for a car meet and tell me why the most memorable thing from the event was the bacon breakfast burrito? You do have to wait maybe 5-10 minutes as it's made to order. The piping hot fresh home potatoes with the melted cheese, paired with their sauce- it's incredible and it's addicting. The tiramisu latte was pretty good! A little sweet for my taste but a nice sweet treat nonetheless. The yuzu earl grey matcha bevvy was a little too sour for my liking but my girlfriend really enjoyed it. I really liked how the store was set up as well, all the music and decorations pair nicely and made me want to buy all their products lol. They have cool sweaters, tote bags, socks, even frisbees, whatever your heart desires, Good Time delivers.

This place is ALWAYS good. I went with my best friend the other day and it was amazing (as usual). I love the Photo Booth and the matcha was soo good. We got both an iced one and a hot one. Got the breakfast burrito. Was highly recommended by people, so I was excited to try it. Not sure if it was an off day but the burrito was pretty dry; it barely had any sauce.The potatoes were kind of burnt too and made up the majority of the burrito. I enjoyed the medium hard egg and thick bacon though. Also got the LB fog. The drink sounds nice in idea and there's a nice earl gray flavor but the matcha is very weak. I will be back here to try the coffee. Ambiance was cute and service nice also.

This was one of the best breakfast burritos we've had ever!!! They are HUGE and sooo filling with a great egg to potato ratio. The chorizo is so juicy and has a delicious spice to it. Get it with avocado instead if you like a lighter flavor. Both the matcha latte and cold brew were delish! Definitely come to study or socialize here

Ordered: Small Iced Latte (~$6) with Lavender ($1) Aya's take: Coffee & plants? It's bound to be a Good Time (pun intended)! We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday morning and to no one's surprise lol, they were busy. Upon entering, I noticed the bright space, the nice decor, and the beautiful plants. I got a Small Iced Latte with Lavender which was truly expertly made. It was silky smooth, the lavender was actually palpable in every sip, and I got the caffeine boost I was looking for. The breakfast burrito looked delicious and you can see them in the back freshly making each order. I would definitely try it next time I'm back in town. Love this spot!

This place it great! Drinks, food, ambiance, location and awesome business name will all bring me back. Fantastic service and drinks cone out quickly, with food at a reasonable speed considering there always seems to be a lot of orders in the queue. Visit #1 was memorable. Latte and breakfast burrito, but added extra egg which is highly recommended. Visit #2 I went with Matcha latte and burrito, but forgot to add extra egg and although flavorful, it was mostly potatoes. I enjoy the vibe here. Walk up to order, lots of tables inside but unfortunately they are all full with people working. Guess ya gotta get there early. There are a handful+ of tables outside that often get groups gathering and hanging out. Super chill place with quality food and service. They also have a points system which I missed signing up for my first time. Can't beat a good freebie from time to time. Parking is limited to street/neighborhood as far as I can tell. Luckily I've found a space rather quickly each time.

This place is definitely a good time. It's a one stop shop. Booze, coffee, plants - this place has everything. I like the idea of picking up gifts while I get a coffee. I ordered an iced matcha latte ($6.00). Twas good, however, I should have asked a classic syrup - the vanilla sweetener was a bit too strong for my liking. The iced Americano was also good. We also shared the jalapeño and cheese croissant. This was delish. The croissant was flakey and unexpectedly had cubes of cream cheese nestled in the folds. I'll be back to try their other breakfast items. Good Time is vibe-y and I'm here for it.

Parking is very very small and limited be very lucky to find a spot. Inside is spacious everyone comes to study or catch up. They do offer free wifi as well. They have a decent menu of coffee and matcha and breakfast food. I got a honey matcha id rate 7/10 it was okay and a coffee it forgot what its called but it was good. The breakfast sandwich also came with some pretty tasty sourdough bread. They do host trivia nights and small shops etc throughout the month id love to come back and check it out. I recently went and it was GREAT! The staff was very efficient and speedy- I was surprised that I waited just over five minutes for my two drinks and two burritos when the place was packed!!! They have great merch, great options, and good stuff! They also have a great space. Good for a date or some kind of club meet up. Also, the burrito was wonderful. Nice and fatty from the runny yolk and bacon, carby from the potatoes. Perf for my hangover lol. read more

Edit: Best coffee in Long Beach they got Long Beaches 2nd best breakfast burrito, Thursday is "hamburger nice" burgers that are super nice! In Long Beach and want a good cup of coffee with good parking, easy choice! Having to edit the stars back, this place has been completely taken over by remote workers and they leave zero room for customers passing through. read more

I really enjoyed Good Time. The shop is super cute and sells a lot of little plant things and other knick knacks inside. I ordered a cardamom matcha latte with oat milk based off the barista's suggestion and it was SO good. I also got the breakfast sandwich was was a litttle dry, but overall very good as well. I went on the weekend so there was a bit of a wait time, but if you went early or during the week I think you'd get your stuff faster. read more

I've been going here since it was confidential coffee and I have to say it's improved so much in both its coffee and ambiance. They've added wine, seasonal menus, burgers, additional seating, and host events. The plants inside make it such a happy bright space to be at along with their art wall and other decor. The first time I came here years ago they wouldn't make me anything iced and the coffee tasted like something I could get from my coffee maker if I flooded it with milk. Now the drinks are up to par with my other fave spots and the seasonal menu is unique and innovative. The breakfast burgers are great too. The staff seems happy. And now with Commune coming back to the street, I'm happy to see a third space where the local community can come to have a safe pleasant afternoon. Good job guys. read more

Good Time was a pretty decent time for me! Not great but pretty good. I was excited to order one of their breakfast items and visited for that specific reason but arrived to find out they were serving an entirely different menu (although they still do serve breakfast but for some reason not explained to me they were not doing so that late morning). I ordered a drink instead (oat latte) and it was pretty tasty! The space has a cool plant shop inside and fun graphics and images. It is pretty loud so if you're looking for a place to work this may not be it but for a quick coffee or plant browse, check out Good Time. read more

I have been here two times and the it's a great place to work and meeting with someone. They have lots of sitting both indoor and outdoor. I've noticed that a lot of people do come here to work during the week. The plants are great touch. I have not tried their food, only coffee and matcha. They are both great! They accept you bringing your own cup. They are friendly and helpful as needed. read more

I'm kind of huge on coffee and I've been trying so many coffee shops around the long beach area, but I definitely have to admit that this coffee shop has been the best one I have ever gone to. The coffee is always extremely well made and you can seriously taste the difference from any other coffee. The staff has always been super nice and welcoming. The merch, the shop, and the plant store being connected with it makes it a thousand times better than any I've gone to. First, the vibe of the place is immaculate. I got an affogato and potato tacos, let me tell you, the chipotle aioli, to die for. They were delicious. My fiancé got the breakfast sandwich and was having a hard time finding the chipotle aioli but as soon as she asked for some, they didn't charge extra and gave her some. This place has a great aesthetic but for a business that portrays inclusivity, I felt very taken aback by the customer service. After receiving my matcha, I noticed chunks and chunks of matcha in my drink. I asked the barista if they could sift or remix it and he goes "I can try but not much we can do" he threw my drink into another cup and shakes it once or twice. Hands it back and says there's still chunks. He tells me this time, acknowledging the matcha isn't made right... I feel like if you know a drink isn't made right and you can't fix why are selling it or not offering a customer an alternative. He made me feel like a huge inconvenience for a latte I paid for. read more

I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I found this particular malbec approachable and non-offensive. However, I'd choose a bottle of bourbon or sake, any day of the week. 1 cent for a bottle of wine? That's cheaper than Boone's Farm! Total Wine wanted to get me nice & toasty on the cheap for my birthday, treating me like a cheap date. Sausages didn't seem homemade but were very tasty. I ordered the Eggs Noni, which is a version of Eggs Florentine, plus a side of bacon. The Eggs Noni came on two pretty hard small sourdough discs. I had difficulty cutting through the crust with a knife. There is a lot of cayenne in their hollandaise sauce, not my favorite version. The thick slice of tomato was the highlight. Side of bacon $6 for two measly pieces - overcooked and too crunchy. I could tell the bacon would have been good if it was more on the meaty/chewy side. This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.

I am so thankful for Good Time. I started grabbing coffee and burritos there about 3 years ago. Honestly what kept me coming back at first was the Espresso Tonic. I was obsessed. Then I found out you can bring dogs and actually everyone that works there loves to see them. And turns out my dog also happened to love Good Time. Then I started getting to know the staff and the regulars because, turns out, it's a great place to work from. Then when I was going through a rough time, they offered me a job. And, turns out, everyone that works there really is as great as it seems from the outside. Good Time offers great coffee and great burritos, but the community they create is really what it's about. The care they put into their staff is a ripple effect into the drinks, the food, and the customer experience. The events are fun and welcoming. They support great causes and genuinely care about everyone. I am so thankful Good Time exists and if you are still reading, go give them a try. read more

I used to be a regular here and always loved how welcoming the baristas were. They'd greet me by name and make me feel at home. Unfortunately, the culture of this place has completely changed. On my last visit, the woman at the counter was unwelcoming and dismissive. When I asked a question, she didn't respond, just pointed at the menu. I also used to work from here often, but the environment has become uncomfortable. The music was blasting so loudly (Justin Bieber on repeat) that even with my headphones at full volume, I couldn't focus. The coffee, which used to be excellent, now feels just average. It's disappointing to see the quality of the service, product, and overall atmosphere decline so much. I've started exploring other coffee shops and cafes around Long Beach, and it's clear to me that Good Time's peak has passed. I visited Good Time over the weekend and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the service was fast, it left a lot to be desired. The cashier had an unwelcoming attitude, which wasn't the best first impression -- though I tried to overlook it. I ordered the breakfast burrito and was really let down. It was mostly old, dry potato cubes with a bit of egg, and while I did ask for no cheese, other listed ingredients were missing. When I asked about it, I was told they no longer include those ingredients -- despite them still being on the menu. That felt misleading. On a positive note, the young lady who helped me afterward was kind and tried to be helpful, but the overall vibe and quality just weren't there. We used to love this shop every time we visited Long Beach. The coffee was great and the breakfast tacos were amazing. The unique vibe of the attached plant store added to the charm. However, on our last visit, we were disappointed to find that the plant store had been replaced with additional seating. The breakfast tacos weren't the same as we remembered and we couldn't quite put our finger on what was different. The coffee is still great though. One thing to keep in mind if you park on the street: there is a twig-looking tree across the street with a wasp nest in it, so it's best to avoid parking there. I visited this coffee shop for the first time this weekend and really enjoyed it! I ordered a hot hazelnut coffee and it was good- smooth, warm, and just the right amount of flavor. The atmosphere was really nice too. I loved all the plants inside the shop. It gave the space a cozy, calming vibe. I also tried their breakfast burrito and it was delicious. I asked for an extra egg, and the blend of potatoes, eggs, avocado, and cheese was perfect. Super satisfying without feeling heavy. Overall, I'd definitely come back again. This coffee shop is one of my favorite spots! The vibes are always amazing...warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The coffee is consistently great, and they have a fantastic selection of drinks, wines and pastries. One of the best parts is the cute flea market they have on Saturdays. It's always fun to browse the unique finds while sipping on a latte. And I can't leave without buying a plant...there's always a great selection, and it's become a little tradition for me!
