7/9/25 I called to set a free tire rotation since I bought tires through them. The worker was kind and set it up for Friday @ 11am. 7/11/25 Happy Friday! Already here! Arrived & checked in. Nice & cool inside. Safe and clean. They have a little waiting area with seating and a TV. Waited there after signing confirmation for the tire rotation to be done. It was ready fast! The worker called me. He put my key back on my keychain for me and I was good to go! Thank you Good Guys for the quick tire rotation! Good service and quick too! Highly recommended! read more

Appointments mean nothing at this place. Make a 9am appointment and you will get 9am if no one else walks in before your appointment. My son's 9am oil change appointment took 3 hours. Pay the extra $20 bucks somewhere else that actually takes care of their clients. read more

Called and got a repair estimate but needed to figure out best day to schedule. When I checked back online to schedule appt there's a coupon if you self schedule-yay! On scheduled day there was only one person ahead of me so service was relatively prompt, representative was polite. There is a decent little waiting area with TV. STAY AWAY FROM "GOODGUYS" ON HERNDON! ...especially if you are a woman, elderly or both! Overflow fluids on my garage floor after battery replacement with fluids I probably didn't need! Then tried to tell me I needed a whole bunch of parts for $3000+! Called my son-in-law and his mechanic said they tried to scam me, plus the $500 I already spent wasn't necessary either. I will start out by saying I didn't give them the opportunity to do the work based on what I was verbally quoted and what I would consider unprofessional in the way thing we're handled. AC needed service and the guy said "anywhere from a couple hundred to the expense stuff." He wanted to look under the hood and deduced, "Yep, the expensive stuff." Was quoted $500-$600. Not knowing what this should cost, I asked for an appointment. Instead of going Into the office he pulled out a small notebook and got my name and year of car. That's it! Found a place in town that specializes in AC. Was able to get it in next day and saved at least $200! read more

BARRY PROXMIRE!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE RUDE DISGUSTING salesman. I came in and made an appointment on Wednesday for Friday since they were busy which was fine with me. Came Friday morning for my appointed oil change and they deny for my car oil change cause my car is "too low" which I already told Jordan it's on air suspension I can go higher and made an appointment already which is approved. He then proceeded to be rude cause goodguys gave me a free oil change coupon and ask me multiple questions suspicious that I stole it or something. On top of that his attitude already ruined my day and they stripped my oil drain plug and all I asked for was a replacement. Both Barry Proxmire & Ryan SM was not happy about my request, they blamed it on me. If it was stripped they could've told me before doing it but after the oil change. I asked nicely to get it replaced and both Barry & Ryan tried to smart mouth and be petty about the situation. VERY PROFESSIONAL. Told me to LEAVE THE CAR FOR THE WHOLE DAY in order to replace it....... ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE this is my DAILY CAR TO GO TO POINT A TO POINT B and just to get that drain bolt was GONNA TAKE THE WHOLE DAY. I was so done with their petty foul behavior I wanted Cooperate number and denied . I told them I can just come back and get the replacement drain plug which does not need my car to be there ALL DAY. Are you serious RIGHT NOW. Ryan was willing to work with me after my reasoning which he knew he was being petty "as long as I don't make this review" . It's already intimidating to go into a tire shop or any auto shop as a woman when there are nothing but males working. I know I am naïve when it comes to anything car related however I would hope the staff would make me feel better, not worse. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The staff member at the front desk made me feel like I was asking a dumb question when all I needed was someone to help with a possible flat tire. He pretty much said" I mean we can put air in it, but you're gonna have to get in line for about an hour or more if you need a flat repair." I pulled up to the side and the person who put air and it was nice but that was it. They pretty much said drive around and if it's flat again later you might have a nail in it..... I really wanted to recommend this Goodguys location but after reviewing my bill and realizing there is a 580% markup on a part I needed I have to say I'm am beyond disappointed. Took my Classic truck in for tires, alignment and ball joint replacement. I will say I appreciated their honesty when they told me my ball joints were fine but my steering idler arm needed to be replaced. The new idler arm was $214.99 plus $180 for an hour labor. Ok, sure go ahead and replace it. A few days later while looking for other parts for the truck I see that the steering idler arm is $32.99 at NAPA, $38.99 at CJ Pony Parts and $30.99 at Summit Racing. The Summit Racing part is the exact same brand and part number Goodguys used (MOG-K6096T) and they charged me $214.99. I get it, markup is expected, how else do businesses make money but in all my years of having vehicles worked on I've never seen a nearly 600% markup. Buyer beware. read more

I made a 10 am appointment to have my tires rotated. I purchased said tires from this shop. Arrived at approximately 9:50 and the (older) gentleman at the counter (who has been very rude to me before) asked "how can I help you". I told him I had an appointment at 10 and he asked for my keys. Then said he was working on entering a few other customers information and would get back to me to collect my info. A few minutes later I watched said (older) gentleman walk out the door, get in a car, and LEAVE. A younger gentleman asked if I was planning on waiting for them to do the work and when I said "I have an appointment for 10, how long will it take?", his response "we have 2 customers in front of you, so an hour and a half to 2 hours..." WHAT? Why bother making an appointment? The tires I purchased were affordably priced but the customer service here is AWFUL. read more

I had a nail in my tire when I got home from work. Called them up and they said they could get me in before closing. When I got there I was greeting immediately. I was quoted 90 minutes or so. They finished my car within 45 minutes. Price to plug tire was very reasonable. This is my second time here and I've had a positive experience both times. Just drove to Fresno from the Bay Area in my new car and got a screw in it. Just happened to look up from departing the CVS and pulled in to see if the Goodguys could repair my tire as I saw a screw in the center. The managing partner, Ryan Schmal, was amazing. Very professional and stated that there would be no charge to plug the tire which would take about 30 minutes. The associate that did the work was prompt, efficient and very careful with my new car. I recently visited this GoodGuys store for a routine oil change. I dealt with Ryan who is the manager at this location. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and immediately took care of my questions. The work was done really fast and Ryan was communicative. I was surprised at how fast they were able to service my car. 'lol definitely be back specifically because of the good customer service I received. Other places have not always treated me well or tried to take advantage of me (bexause I don't know vehicles that well.) I felt acknowledged and treated well. 10/10 recommend. My friend, whom was a young lady, took her vehicle in for noisy breaks. She was told her breaks looked fine from a visual inspection. However, she was charged $342 for a new belt and a break flush. She picked up the car and it had the same noise. I went in and talked to the manager about the belt and break flush. We agreed to disagree about the upsale of the belt and break flush but he did put the customer first and invited us to come back for a free break lube job. I started going here a few years ago, mostly because it was a lot closer then the Auto shop that I was going to before. I didn't expect very much, but I have been pleasantly surprised over and over. I have been really impressed with their communication, they always call me and keep in touch with prices and how long a something will take. There have been times that I had to work a little late and couldn't get back to the shop during normal working hours. The guys even waited for me so that I wouldn't have to come back the next day. More than that, they remember my name. I don't think that I visit there that often, but for how many customers they see, this impresses me more than anything else. Great service! read more

We want to thank Good Guys for teaching our 18 year old daughter a lesson in life that there are sly dogs out there. First time shopper she went for 2 tires. $400 later plus alignment and warranty the staff tried pushing her to buy more and more products and apply for a high rate credit card. She refused all that and ignored the unwanted looks from the male staff. Her new tires were left with grease marks all over the rims and white chalky residue. See photo. NO EXCUSE. Unprofessional, lazy (dis)repair techs at this place. Took my wife's car in for an oil change. Come to find out that I was charged for an air filter that I never got. Yup, my wife was driving her car without an air filter simply because they didn't put one in! So, rather than getting ripped off again and run the risk of damaging my cars, I will NOT be returning to any of the Goodguys locations. read more

I do think that this shop is good and they have decent prices on the work that they do but they don't have an accurate gauge on how long things will take. I came in at around 930 asking for them to look at my brakes to see if I need to do any work and they told me it would take 20-30 minutes but I've been sitting here for over an hour. The work that they do is fine but they don't give accurate information with how long things actually take. I wouldn't have come here if I knew it was going to take over an hour just to do the check. read more
