These really are Good Guys! They've gone above and beyond to give me excellent customer service. I bought four tires from Good Guys in Clovis and immediately ran over a bolt that destroyed my brand new tire. We took the car back and our warranty covered a brand new tire. We are a family and our dollars have to go far for us. Buying four new tires isn't easy on anyone's wallet but Good Guys gave us a great deal with a great warranty. Tim was so helpful and explains everything. Tim also laid out several different options for tires at various price points. I will always return to Good Guys in Clovis for our tires. They really take their customers safety on the road seriously and value my time. read more

Buyer we ware came in because I had a flat tire after waiting for over an hour I was told the flat could not be fixed and I would need two new tires. The salesmen insisted I buy the tires because they were unsafe mind you they charge 35.00 to fix a flat where as most places don't charge because of the liability involved and they would rather you remember the service and hopefully buy tires from them in the future when you actually need them. Anyway I left this location and drove to another facility where they fixed my flat but also told me I still had life on the tires. Very disappointed with this facility as I cost their other locations and have had nothing but great experiences. I won't be making that mistake again read more

I stopped by Goodguys to try and repair a slow leak in my passenger tire. There were busy but still greeted me. They looked at my car and said they could do the repair but it would be $34 plus I'd have to wait awhile. I didn't mind waiting since I knew Saturdays are busy and had planned to drop off the car, but the $34 for a tire patch was ridiculous. They insisted that I needed to rebalance my tires and service the tire pressure monitoring system. I used to work in a tire store for many years and I know this was false. While the flat repair was $13, the extra add on services were unnecessary and arguably crooked. I said no thanks, went down the street to Les Schwab where they serviced me quickly and for much less since I didn't need the "required" maintenance. I've been waiting for them to balance my tires and rotate them, decent price but I was told it would take about an hour and it's has been over an 1hr and 50 mins that I've been waiting. Granted I did leave for 40 mins but There have been two customers that came in after me that have been taken care of and another that came in after me that is getting updates about the service on her vehicle while I'm sitting here right next to her. SAVE YOURSELF SO TIME, MONEY, AGGRAVATION!!! Completely incompetent staff. I was quoted one price for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Pretty easy job and shouldn't take long. I was told it would take maybe 90 minutes. I was called nearly two hours later and was offered additional services that I did not ask for. Showed up to pick up my vehicle about three hours after I dropped it off. The price was more than quoted and the staff input my mileage wrong into the system more than 75k miles. No attention to detail and zero effort to correct the mistakes. By the time TIM the manager got involved we were down the road and refused to discount the overcharge. Instead gave me a business card with a handwritten note for a discount next time. Never going back. read more

Rip-off city bad customer service Owners last name is Torres dude is a jerk charged me 39.99 to tell me my brakes where bad when I was the one that told them I needed brakes keep in mind I paid over 700 last year at Another Goodguys brakes only lasted a year with the cheap parts they used !!! Wanted to charge me almost 600 for this set of brakes and didn't want to credit me the 39.99 towards the estimate .. these guys pray on middle age people that don't no any better they were trying to sell me a motor mount and rear shocks and a few other things . This is the second time I have brought a vehicle to these guys. The first time it was for tires. I needed e rated tires for a heavy load. They put on street tires not rated for heavy loads. This time they charged me to rotate a balance my tires and said they put air in them. The low pressure light came on while I was driving so I went to another tire shop. They checked each tire for leaks and found non. I wonder if they even rotated the tires. They sure did not check the air pressure. read more

Don't good to this tire/car repairs shop, my wife went to get a headlight replaced (cost $65.00 way out of line) they put the car on the rack and scared my wife into buying new tires and a front end alignment. Total cost $1034.44. This company is high pressure sales men and I feel took advantage of a woman. You can tell they work on commission and will try to sell you even if you might not need it DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY A TOTAL RIP OFF read more

We wanted snow tires for ski trips in winter. It seems like they didn't know what 'snow tire' was. They installed 'all weather' tires which is mostly for the rain. The whole point was we wanted snow tires for the snow!! I'm very upset about them trying to risk our family's lives. They said they will check this morning to see if they even have snow tires!! read more

I went to Goodguys to have a four wheel alignment done on my wife's 2004 Lexus RX330. Apparently, the mechanic was new to doing alignments because the steering wheel wasn't centered before he aligned all four tires. It was over a month before I drove my wife's car, because she is the primary driver of that vehicle and I was could not have the alignment corrected without a charge. I decided to do some work on the car and took it back to goodguys to have the front end aligned. I didn't say anything about the steering wheel needing to be centered because it is a basic requirement when having a car aligned. Once again, the steering wheel came out of the shop off center. I took the car back this time and informed the store manager. Initially I was told it would take a couple of hours, but the manager asked me to wait because he thought it would be a quick fix. Within 20 minutes they had my wife's car finished. I test drove it, and while better, the steering wheel was still not centered. I have decided to give someone else my money at this point. That shop is incompetent and time will prove it. Everyone knows that they are at the mercy of a mechanic when they take their car to get worked on. If the shop does good work people will keep coming back. In my opinion I have given them three chances to correct an issue, with no luck. It cost me $160 to figure it out, but it is better than $1,600. read more

called to get a price and then took car in.. they then told me it would cost more because i have 20 wheels (they didnt ask). they then scratched one of my old wheels and broke and center cap, and then told me the new wheels did not fit (they do) went to another tire shop and they finished the job good guys couldn't. called and talked to boss to tell him about my experience and he said he would call right back. still waiting. wont go there even again read more
