THE BEST GOODWILL EVER!!!! I've gone to multiple goodwills and in wealthy locations and usually leave left disappointed or with little to no clothes. BUT that never happens at this goodwill :))) I grew up coming to this goodwill as long as I can remember with family and it makes me happy I can go here and reminisce on good ol' memories while finding amazing clothes. The customer service is peek as well. If they notice you have clothes in your hand they will hunt down the next empty cart for you and bring it to you without even asking. The clothes is sorted by color which makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I can tell they don't just put up any clothes, it feels like they hand select what clothes is worthy of going up on the rack. They also have a variety of sizes and name brands. They pick up the clothes on the floor constantly so it's never messy or dirty in the store. I enjoy the clothes they put on the mannequin as well, they have a sense of fashion. I also noticed the managers respect their employees and talk to them in a respectful manner when giving them tasks to do. Sheral was also very helpful at checkout, she put my clothes away neatly and didn't ball it up. I even got to meet the manager Flow who was so sweet and inviting. Her energy really lightens up the store. She said hello to everyone who walked through the door with a big smile. Only negative but this is about ALL goodwills is that nothing should be over $8 especially when the store runs off of FREE supplies aka donations. At this store I didn't notice any unfair pricing for items that weren't clothes. Edit: The VP of Sale for Goodwills messaged me to inform me of good news. Every $1 spent, 89 cents go towards a program so they are doing a good will in this world:)

Always such great finds at this goodwill. Such nice customer service too

Such great finds always. And incredible customer service. I definitely recommend this goodwill if you're ever near the area

Price tag from 99 cent store is $1.99. Goodwill is trying to sell it for $2.99.

Goodwill is supposed to be helping the less fortunate people. Their pricing has gone out of control. This plastic plate was from the 99 Cent store. 99 cent store sold it for $1.99. Goodwill is trying to sell it for $2.99. So much of the stuff is overpriced. You can get it new for the same price. Also The manager named Florence is very rude to customers. One time I went in around 7:30 and she said "You know we close at 8 right" in a very sarcastic way. I go in this store often and she is always like this.

This has served as my donation center for the past several years. I'm a minimalist, so anything that has no use gets donated. Hence, I donate often. This place is hassle free. I just drive to the back of the building, bring up my donations to the warehouse, and they issue me a receipt. And being an independent contractor, those tax write-offs are awesome. The staff has always been friendly. They are accurate in the receipts they give me, and kindly let me know what items they cannot accept. For whatever they cannot accept, I either toss it in their dumpster, or I take home and recycle.

Since that time it has remained one of the best go-to spots for thrifting in the area. Of all the thrift shops in the South Bay, undoubtedly Savers never ceases to amaze. As can be expected, this thrift store offers all of the things you would expect to find: clothing, shoes, books, records, toys, kitchenware, electronic items, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Plus, they are constantly stocking new items, so every time you go in to this business you're guaranteed to see something new. I know a lot of people talk about the prices at this thrift store. For pretty much all of the items I find them to be very reasonable. In fact, you can truly find some one of a kind items for incredible prices. In terms of the clothing, yes, they are a bit high in their pricing compared to other thrift store chains. For some people, they may not want to spend $12.00 to $20.00 for say a used shirt. Though this is not always the case, a lot of their clothing is fairly expensive. This is just something to keep in mind if you haven't been here before. If you're going to be shopping for clothing at Savers, you've pretty much have got to expect to pay the top dollar for it in terms of the used market. This is a necessarily bad or good, and it isn't a criticism, it's just the way Savers operates. Overall, this is a truly good shop. I can't say enough about this place and the staff here are always super nice and friendly. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to thrift. You never know what you're going to find. The racks had tons of stuff but it wasn't overcrowded. They had a lot of Squishmallows. The bad: I like the Goodwill on Hawthorne in Torrance better because it seems to have nicer items that are more selected for quality/trendiness. A lot of the shoes were pretty worn down. There were so many out of fashion jeans here. The home goods area was pretty run down looking and in a disarray compared to other Goodwills. The interesting: I like how they have seasonal items displayed in the front. Since St. Patrick's day is the next holiday, the front area has tons of green clothes and items on display.

It's extremely dangerous and I'm sure other parents will try the same when there are no other options. I'm just warning and cautioning. Get this store carts or a real problem will happen. It was a bit disorganized that the items are not sorted by size or by color, but they are making an effort to organize the items. I saw employees, putting items onto the racks. I also noticed that they are arranged by clothing item: Women's, coats, women's jeans, men's jeans" and so on. That being said I went digging. I checked for brand, size, type of fabric and if it looked brand new. I found 9 items in less than 30 minutes. I'm not even trying. I went to the fitting room to try them on. I found a sign that says you can only try 3 items or less. But because the store looked semi-empty and I genuinely came here to buy sweaters, I went in anyway. I'm sorry. Out of the 9 items. I liked 3 of them. One of the items I put away was a vintage wool sweater (made in the USA) and while it was beautiful, the neck was small, the fabric felt stiff, and on top of that it reeked of dust. My mom even commented that I smelled like dust after putting the unwanted clothes back in the "go back rack." The 3 that I found were: - Madewell cardigan - mustard color ($9) - J. Crew Teddie sweater - caramel color ($8) - a men's sweater that I can't tell the name of from the cursive. But it looked brand new. it was a dark burgundy color. ($8) Note-able go-backs: - Levi's plaid checkered button up long sleeve shirt (red and black) - Tommy Hilfiger sweater in dark green (I regret not taking this but it was too big for me) - Nordstrom cashmere blend white sparkly sweater - this was too small at the waist - felt like a cropped sweater. not my style. My mom found vintage 80's/90's princess house dishes for $6. That is a steal considering she bought one at an antique mall in San Juan Capistrano for $35. Now, the prices are surprisingly low compared to Salvation Army in South West Torrance area. the Madewell cardigan alone would have been $15-20 if I found it there. Overall, this is a great place to go treasure hunting. Wish you lots of luck.
