Needed a new tire replaced due to dangerous bulge in seams 1 1/2 hrs prior to close. Called around and this particular location was great in getting me in on a busy day to make sure I was safe to drive 40 miles home. Today capped off a GOODYEAR experience that is worth talking about! I have always been a GOODYEAR customer pretty much since I worked for Kovacs Goodyear in S. Florida 30 years ago. I origionally stopped in the Niagara Falls location (1755 Military RD Niagara Falls, NY 14304) a few months ago to inquire about new tires, I was told by the SALESMAN at the time that the tires were $580 something and I questioned why? I told him I was on GOODYEAR.COM and FULL RETAIL was $549.99 along with every other place I checked as well. The SALESMAN didn't really did not have an answer why his price was marked up so I showed him a screenshot of the TOLTAL from GOODYEAR.COM and his response was "well then go buy them there" so I have a couple friends of mine that own shops in FL and I thought it might be better to give the local shop the chance to sell them to me before I made the purchase online, just trying to be CORDIAL. Well I ended up leaving not feeling real good and fast forward to about a week ago I decided to go online and purchase the tires. Well that turned into quite an event, during the purchase I was asked to pick a location to have the tires installed. Now about a week ago I stopped back by the NF GOODYEAR location and spoke to a kid that was working there about the install and was also interested in buying all new LUGNUTS. Well during that visit he basically told me that they could not do the install because they did not have a machine that would balance my tires. So I spent the better part of a day calling all these shops looking for somebody to do my install. I finally found a place not to far named EZ Tire who would take care of the install and I thought everything else but it turned out this shop was gonna be unable to do the alignment and he told me I would have to send it out to somebody else and I was not comfortable with that and told him I would rather go to GOODYEAR and have it done. I spent $2300 on these 325/60/20 GOODYEAR DURATRACs and I just prefered that GOODYEAR handle as much of the work as possible. So I decided to call aheada day or 2 after the install and make sure they could do the ALIGNMENT. I spojke to a sales man named Tanner and he said he was not sure if they could and asked me to stop by with the truck and they would tell me. Today I stopped by there and was greeted by Tanner and he said let me check with his boss, a couple minutes later he came out and said "YES" they could do it but it would be $250, I then verified that we were talking about the SINGLE alignment and not the 3 YEAR alignment, he told that my truck was a special alignmaent and repeated again that it would be $250, so I asked to speak to the manager. At this point the shop manager came out and asked if he could help me, I started to explain and he rail roaded me while I was speaking again to tell me that " it was a special alignment and would be $250" at which point I said sorry "why don't you talk" and he he then APPOLOGIZED and said he had 5 things going at one time, so I was pretty much done at this point and I decided to ask him 1 more question, "I asked him would GOODYEAR Corporate be ok with you more than doubling the PRICE of an ALIGNMENT" his answer was they don't run this shop. So I left! All this GRIEF because I wanted to spend more than $2500 with GOODYEAR, SMH This review will goto GOODYEAR CORPORATE and GOOGLE reviews as well, have a great day! :( PS. Appt for 9:30am, arrived 10 mins late, got me in. told them I needed front brakes and rotors and an oil change, I've been here 5 hours and they're charging me $550 for it. first was told the calipers were starting to go then was told they had seized up and that's why it's taking forever. half the teams sitting around and the other half entertained other jobs meanwhile. I just have to say they were amazing very honest explained everything to me went through every cost before they touched my vehicle. I was out in an hour and they even gave me a discount after I told them some horror stories of other shops I've been to in this city! 100% recommend I will be going back for anything I need! read more

I just paid over $60 for an oil change that was supposed to cost me $25. When leaving they told me I had a "loose tie-rod", which would have to be replaced in order to pass inspection next month ... "about a $200 job". There is no problem with the tie-rod. Scammers. read more

Our car broke down on a Saturday morning while vacationing in Niagara. We needed to leave early Sunday morning. Someone recommended this place, so I called and they said someone could look at it in the afternoon, so I had it towed there. They were able to look at it right away, diagnose the problem (ac compressor froze up), and were able to install a bypass, all within a few hours. The repair cost was a little high, but still reasonable with the standard rates for repairs. Their staff were very thorough and professional. They saved us a lot of time and money by getting this job done so fast. We could very well have had to stay another 2 days had they not been able to get the job done in a timely manner. Had a 9 am appntmnt to get rear tire repaired (nail). Upon checkin I asked if they could do oil change and was told no problem. They took my car in at 920 and I noticed them taking out my cabin filter. I went up to technician and asked what he was doing and was told a 21 point inspection. I told him I only wanted tire fixed and an oil change and nothing else. He told me it was standard and I told him I should have been informed. He then proceeded to change the oil as I returned to waiting room. They called me to service desk to advise me I was all set. When I got home I noticed my tire that I originally made appntmnt for was never touched/nail still in tire tread. I called their corporate office to complain at this point because they also wouldn't honor my AAA $5 discount on oil change. They told me not for this instance/ whatever that means. Corporate in turn called the mngr and he told corporate that I left satisfied and even shook his hand (never touched his hand). The mngr then told corporate that they forgot to take the tire off to check the backside and rim to see if the leak was back there. Mngr totally lied to corporate to save his own butt. Would rate NO stars if I could read more
