I went in this morning. They open @ 7:30AM i was the 1st customer in the door. I needed a to patch a tire. I got out of the shop @ 9:15AM for a simple patch. The whole time i was there they were checking and messing around with my truck looking to see what they can up sell me on. When I said No Thank you to everything! The sales man didn't like to! I was very nice and patient. Sometimes you cant be nice and Patient ! Not only did they force me into the Auto Care check they do and wasted over an hour of my time trying to upsell me on products they said i needed! the job i went in for us was not done with care! the tech we removed my tire scratched up my rim. They don't cover your seats either I had wipe down my truck inside after they visit. 1st and last visit to this location. I wish i could give them 0 Stars. read more

The quality of service is seriously lacking because after refusing the attempted grift to sell new tires due to refusing to honor the original warranty they still put tires on and tried to make me pay. It sincerely hurts me to make this post. I spent a big chunk of my professional career with Goodyear, and I've been a brand advocate for over 20 years. Years ago, I worked in Goodyear's headquarters at 1144 East Market Street in Akron, Ohio. I'm very familiar with Goodyear's brand ethos and what differentiates it in the market. As a consumer, I've had some exceptional customer experiences in South Florida. I can tell stories of how I made great decisions with our vehicles over the years because of good counsel from Goodyear team members -- on tires and vehicle repairs. I trusted Goodyear (which is the best compliment I could give to a brand). Unfortunately, a few influential company ambassadors have moved on from their roles on the Goodyear Retail team in the area. That has left me with an inconsistent consumer experience here in Broward County over the last ten years or so. My experience today at the West Pines store was awful. I was trying to understand if the counter person was making a recommendation based on what was going to give me the best driving experience (based on comfort, noise, longevity, or a myriad of other experience measures) or a technical/safety/risk reason. If you've experienced the tire buying process, you know it's full with heuristics, "rules of thumb" --- change tires in pairs, "Lincoln's head", and other shortcuts that help consumers make the right tire purchase decision. It took a while for me to understand that the counter person's use of "I would not do that" was really him saying "I will not do that". As I tried to seek clarity on "the why", the counter person and his manager got frustrated with the audacity of my questions. Finally, the manager (who I had a run-in with years ago at another Goodyear store that I haven't stepped foot in since) told me, "we're tired of repeating it. Go read your car manual." I was disgusted. Goodyear produces a highly technical, very-well engineered product. This tire was being put on an EV which I had just driven off the car dealer lot 24 hours previously. I'm sure there was technical nuance that needed to be explained, but the "guy behind the counter" didn't have any interest in helping me understand why he was requiring what he was requiring. I took back my car keys and called my insurance company for a tow to another retailer. As a consumer, I can put up with a lot in a retail environment. Being a retailer requires dealing with consumers with a myriad of needs and who are, quite often, impatient and rude. It's tough work. I'm conscious of all of those things, and I try to be fair to the folks who are trying to help me solve my problem. At the same time, I expect retailers to work hard to delight customers, especially in an environment where there's a lot of information asymmetry. At the end of the day, I'm not sure if the specifics behind my experience will matter to anyone. However, the fact that I'm a Goodyear alumnus who has been a brand advocate for over 20 years and I'm permanently walking away from Goodyear today... should tell you something. Again, it pains me to share this but I can't, in good conscience, continue to patronize a brand that takes its customers for granted. EPILOGUE: For what it's worth, I left the Goodyear retail location and took it to the local Costco that is a short distance away. The same tire that was quoted at $511 plus tax at Goodyear was $305.93 out the door at Costco. Not only was I taking disrespect at Goodyear, I was getting fleeced at the same time. In some ways it was a blessing. I had been going to Goodyear for so many years without even scanning the market. Just by opening the aperture of my product screen, I saved over $200. Good year I bought new tires from good year for my wife's minivan, with the "catch" that they would rotate them for free. Turns out they not alaways rotate them. the excuse? they are bald and I need to buy new ones OR, I need to pay for their alignment so they can move them. Look at the pictures and be the judge. I will rotate them myself and move on (10 year customer NOT coming back). But if this was my elder parents then the scare tactics are only to pray on people who have no choice but to give them their money. Shameful. read more

Went to Goodyear at 300 Pines Blvd , Pembroke Pines today, 06/29/2025 and informed the tall man with no glasses tending the front counter that the tire had road hazard and needed to use the coverage plan purchased in 2023. He advised that he can only apply a credit towards a new tire (not replace) and a new tire would cost $153/$158 and with the fees would come out to $180 something. In addition with a radiator flush, was told battery low when it wasn't and advised it was less than 1 year old and went to where purchased and battery was fine)balancing and something else it would be around a total of around $700. I have found my documents and he should not have quoted me a credit and cost of a new tire, this is misleading the consumer and unethical. This is the closest Goodyear to my home and therefore will not be returning there and in addition will let all my friends and acquaintances know about this situation for them to also refrain from getting service at that store. read more

This place is just horrible. The managers David and Walter are useless. They have driven this place down. It took them two weeks to refund me my money since they were unable to fix my car. I used to take my cars here and ran into a horrible experience and decided to walk away. Years later I decided to try them again to run into the same issues or even worse. Bring back Chino! He was reliable for years. David is not reputable at reliable. After 15 years of using this location I was told I needed an alternator for over $1000 installed and refurbished. Was told the car is so bad it will not start. Was told one price for a battery and then it almost doubled. Had to check on the car, and it was able to start and drive prior to any work. Thank God a reputable mechanic confirmed there was nothing wrong with the alternator. Goodyear, you have lost a long time customer. I went there yesterday to have my BMW's runflat tire checked and because of a puncture. Turns out I had 4 nails in the same spot after hitting a wood plank on the highway. They installed 2 new rear tires in leas than an hour and was back on the road. Great service. Professional and courteous. Would visit again when I need tire services. My biggest concern about this place was not knowing the "actual" final cost of my purchase until the very end, even when the lady explicitly told me that everything was $195. But here's the story: I walked into the store and explained to the lady at the front desk that I needed to replace the two front wheels of my car. She told me that my wheels will be cleaned, aligned, and replaced at a discounted price of $195 instead of $210. She also told me that she'd call me when my car was ready for pickup, so I left and ran some errands in the meantime. About three hours passed, and she calls me back saying that my car will be ready in 20 minutes, so I drove back and waited in the lounge. She eventually calls my name, and I walk up to the front desk to fill out and sign some papers. A worker enters through one of the doors and informs me that the alignment will be an addition $87. I was puzzled and felt deceived, but I had no choice but to fork up more money than initially planned, on top of waiting even longer than expected. Service is unparalleled, and the workers did an excellent job with my wheels, but they need to be more upfront about the final payment. read more

I gave 1 star cause I can't give them any less. I am so disgusted with the service provided at this place. I have been here in the past and got mediocre and overpriced service but nothing compared to yesterday. I pulled in with a flat tire and was followed out by Viviana at the front who didn't even think twice before letting me know that my only option was to get two new tires and then gave me a receipt for $630. The receipt had a ton of services that were NOT explained to me and I was just expected to drop almost $700 on two tires. Thankfully, one of my friends is a mechanic and can get me tires so I asked if it were possible to just put air in the tire since I was less than 2 mins from my house. Long story short, I needed to put the spare tire on and asked if they can help me with this. I was sent off and told that I can go to Tire Kingdom down the block and see if they can help me. Mind you, my tire is completely flat and on the ground. Then they tried to tell me that they did not send me off and were trying to help me, which they did NOT. The entire time this was happening, the office manager was in the office and didn't even care to acknowledge the situation, yet "customer service is their top priority." Options should be given to customers and JUST BE NICE. Not with an attitude from the moment you walk in. The customer service was atrocious and I was treated so poorly. I wonder how many others have been scammed into spending so much unnecessary money with terrible service to go with it. Be kinder to your customers, I still can't believe I was just told to leave knowing that my car was not in driving condition because they refused to help me put in a spare tire because I told them that I can get tires elsewhere and just needed help getting out of there. read more

The man said it would take about 45 minutes to do a flat tire repair and I said OK. I have to go to Walmart to get an air compressor so that I can get there safely. He said OK we close at five just get here with enough time. I show up at 3:50 and you know what...they say they don't want to do it. They don't have enough time because they close at five. I'm sorry when did 45 minutes turn into an hour and 10 minutes. I am fuming. Do you not trust these people with your car. Pull purchased 4 tires two weeks ago and the road hazard was not offered to me only unlimited alignments and when I needed assistance to replace it because of a puncture now they're telling me I have to pay another $200 for a tire because of I didn't have Road Hazard (again wasn't offered to me). They offer the free flat tire special but never give it. I came in with a nail in my tire, and asked about this special. The person at the front asked where the nail was puncturing my tire. I offered a photo of the nail in my tire or to walk the person to my car to show them, but they refused to see the nail for themselves. Instead they asked me to point to a tire and guess where it was at. After pointing to an approximate area, of course they immediately told me I would need a new tire. I know for a fact that the area where the nail was placed was possible to be safely patched instead of purchasing a brand new tire, but they didn't care to even take the time to go look. They will not take your best interest in consideration, go somewhere before they take your money. read more

This man at the front desk gave my 80 year old grandma an attitude and answered with sarcasm. She was just asking why she needed to keep the car overnight when all she wanted was a nail removed. I was okay with the fact there were cars ahead of us. But the next appointment was in a whole week ... and the guy said if we left the car it would be done by lunch the next day. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone. I recently moved this area, took my car for a checkup, they said the alternator was going bad. So I asked them to replace it. They replaced the alternator and I picked up my car. After driving for 20 miles, suddenly 3 warnings started popping on my screen - emission system check, power steering check and VSA check. I panicked and took the car right back to them, they checked and said they have no idea what is it is. They said it can't be related to their fix and asked me to take the car to the dealer. I was in a panicked and frustrated mode and went to the dealer. Dealer took 1 whole day to figure out the issue. It was because the mechanic "forgot" to reconnect a hose after changing the alternator. So please don't go this place if you love your car or care for your money. The mechanics here are sloppy, rude and irresponsible. read more

We took our car to get the passenger door fixed, it wouldn't open from the inside. Goodyear, 300 NW 172 Ave., Pembroke Pine, FL 33029, fixed it but now the door doesn't open from the outside. It cost over $650!! It was around November 9, 2018, and I keep getting the run around. They say only the manager can order the part, but he is on vacation. Meanwhile, the passenger must wait in the rain or late at night for the driver to get in and reach over to unlock the door (safety issue). My husband has been a regular Goodyear customer for years. The service sucks, will never go back here again. Was told that it was going to take 3 hrs to change 1 tire and the reason was the technician was at lunch! Stay away from this Goodyear!! I've had some terrible experiences at this location in pines. They can't even do a oil change right. The guy doing the oil change didn't screw the oil plug all the way and oil leaked on my driveway for days. Brought it back and the idiot mgr tells me not to worry we won't charge you for the oil change...really??? They also did other mechanical work on my engine which went bad on vacation and had to be fixed by another Goodyear after I was stranded. They suck and the manger is a little bullshit artist that will rip you off. Stay away or prepare to be broken down and ripped off!!!!! read more

Extremely disappointed with the service provided at this location, especially being a regular client. I took my car in for a tire patch and an oil change on a Saturday evening and they told me I had to drop my vehicle off overnight. Not a problem, I was even offered a $10 discount for dropping it off for the inconvenience, Great. Sunday morning I get a phone call saying that they cannot fix my tire because the wheel won't come off due to a stripped bolt keeping the tire in. Long story short, I was lied to and I didn't fall for it. They called to charge me $120 + labor to fix the bolt because the shop apparently had to "break it" to get the wheel off to patch a tire(I thought they were the professionals). After picking up the vehicle (I never got a $10 discount for the oil change, I wonder why?) I got home and 2 of the 5 bolts were loose on the tire I took to get repaired (extremely dangerous by the way), nothing was broken and I was able to get everything off MYSELF.
