We moved to North Carolina in June 2022, which meant that both of our vehicle inspections and car renewals are due in June 2023. We were in the area and noticed this location had a sign for NC Inspections so we stopped in to inquire. We immediately noticed their hours of operation and were happy to see they were open both Saturday and Sunday. We spoke with Nate who was helpful and friendly. He explained that one of our vehicles would need the safety inspection only (since it is less than three years old), and the other would need both safety and emission inspections. The cost seemed very reasonable, $13.60 for the safety inspection and $30.00 for the safety and emissions. Since it was already late afternoon, we made appointments for early Sunday afternoon. We dropped one vehicle off while we ran errands and they gave us a call and we came by and swapped vehicles. The entire experience was great and we will absolutely go back in the future. I needed a tire and brake shoes and was pleased that they didn't try to sell me rotors or other unneeded services. They were professional and efficient with no surprises. They were also fully masked, which was refreshing for an auto service shop. This Goodyear shop is now my go-to shop for tires, brakes, and other related work for my cars. And Goodyear tires (Eagles in this instance) are great tires. read more

I saw they had a special going on for oil changes, so they had openings all day on 01/30/24 so I selected 5:30 so I could go after work. maybe 2 hours later they call me saying they have to reschedule cause they are all booked up and don't take appointments after 5 because they close at 6, mind you the latest appointment they had said 6. just unprofessional and messy read more

Need a new alternator in my vehicle. Went in to ask them to order it and set up a day that I could drop it off once the part comes in. Guy told me I would have to drop it off right then and they could get to it in a few days. I explained that I was by myself and unable to drop the car off at that time and would still like to do the test and order the part. It takes 5 minutes to test an alternator and order a part. I don't understand why I would have to be without a car for an undetermined amount of time because they don't want to do a simple test and order the part. read more

After putting new tires on 4runner told me there was a rust problem and axle may break I asked if they would honor and take tires back or some discount-they said no. I feel they should have called me before putting tires on car. Would not recommend! read more

I've been twice to this location and both times the guys there have been extremely kind, giving me all the information and telling me honestly what is wrong with the car. As a young woman who knows next to nothing about cars I'm always aware that there's a good chance a mechanic could lead me astray with what is required in the service. However both times they have been honest with the minor car issues I have had, doing minor adjustments and fixes and not charging me anything extra. During my visit today, the mechanic even brought me out into the garage to show me exactly what he discovered was wrong with my car, and all the steps he took to get there. Every time I have visited I have felt respected, my car has been properly attended to, and I plan on continuing to visit this location for all my future car needs. read more

Do you like being treated like an idiot? How about waiting outside in the sweltering heat or suffering hot smelly rubber tire air, courtesy of it being recycled in your face by a crappy dusty fan inside? If that doesn't suit your fancy yet, try being charged for the more $$ part without even being asked! Even better, if you make an appointment, plan to stand around and watch THEM standing around/chatting at least 1/2 an hour or more, before your car even gets looked at. Females get treated fairly at this shop?! I had a VERY different experience. Are you entirely sure you were charged the right prices here, because I walked out with a hefty $900+ estimate over spark plugs/coil and a headlight (plus some labor fees, of course, like $15 fee per plug install, for instance) Furthermore, the plugs should have been replaced 1st before even discussing the coil :/ Easy example: I see the estimate has me down for "platinum spark plugs". HMM INTERESTING. Probably thought I had no idea the difference between the copper, plat, double plat, or iridium but hey! I'm a stupid girl, I should just get my checkbook out for these fellas, amirite!? They didn't even ask or explain anything until I pointed it out, then tried to sales pitch me about things. UGH. I may be no car expert, but I am an expert in bullshit. And my bullshit spidey-sense was tingling off the charts in this place. Luckily, a day before my car goes in to this wretched place, I happened to speak to some REAL mechanics about the trouble I was facing, you know - proactively trying to inform myself about things I may not understand. They were not only polite, they gave me a well of knowledge about these kind of issues w/visuals. You guys could learn a lot about how you treat people. I came in expecting the spark plugs to be the most likely culprit and walked out feeling taken advantage of. I feel for anyone that happens to come to this shop hoping to get treated fairly and respectfully. Do yourself a favour and research/reach out for car advice BEFORE going to these kind of places. This place has WiFi!!! So nice to know that while you're waiting for your car to get serviced that you can bring your laptop to get work done! The mechanics here are also very friendly and don't make you feel like you're getting ripped off. I got an oil change, tire rotation, and light bulb change. They suggested I get a particular oil change that came with a tire rotation! I've never come across a auto shop that has bundle deals and don't require you to bring in a coupon for a discount! read more

Great experience! Being a woman I am usually overcharged or services that come standard are left out until I let them know that I am aware of what I'm talking about and how much I should be charged/ what I should get for my money. That was not the case here! I got a great deal on an oil change and the service guys rotated my tires and made sure my car was in good working condition for no additional charge. The man was also very honest with me about my tires and didn't try to talk me into something I didn't need (pet peeve of mine) I would recommend this place to anyone. I took my 99 Galant there for inspection for the first time. I tried to tell the guy at the front desk what's been going on with the driver side headlight but he said he knows nothing as it's the Inspector's job to determine if it passes or fails. After waiting for 1.25 hours, my car failed for the headlight, wiper blades and emissions. When I was speaking to a different guy (Service Manager) he said I needed new wiring on the headlight which Goodyear does not do and a lot of welding on my exhaust system. None in which Goodyear can perform. When I tried to explain to him the situation, he did not want to hear it. When I asked to speak to the Inspector, he said he left for lunch. Nonetheless, the Service Manager was very dismissive and quoted that he does not know anything about my "alleged" repairs as per the Inspector's opinion. I would think that his response totally defeats the purpose of being a Service Manager of a mechanic shop? He also charged my credit card 3 different times with 2 different amounts. The reasoning was their credit card machine was offline and acts peculiar at times. After calling back later and speaking with Kevin (Manager), he was nice enough to remedy the credit purchasing by issuing a full refund and apologized that the Inspector did not speak to me directly and for the Service Manager's lack of professionalism and product knowledge. I will never deal with this company again. By NC law, the Inspector should have spoken to me directly, plus the shop should have fixed the issues I failed for. They took my money and brushed me off. ****I took my 99 Galant up the street 20 minutes later and it passed! No wiring needed, just a damn bulb and wiper blades. The emissions passed also. Awful, arrived right after they opened at 0730am , I was the first customer, no other cars or customers on the lot. Explained to the manager what I needed regarding one tire on the front right rear, was in a hurry since a nurse who worked night shift was staying late so I could have this one tire installed, well what should've only taken about 45mins max, turned into an hr and 15min. Why, because this idiot manager, decided to service two men who came in after I arrived, and stopped working on my car to do so. I was so livid, I could spit nails, and then instead of addressing the inconvience of the whole situation he, was superficially passive aggressive, which pissed me off even more!!! I'm sure he wouldn't want and exhausted ICU nurse or a pissed off one taking care of him first thing in the morning. I've filed a BBB complaint and will file as many as possible. Thats the last time this place will ever see my dollars, if they can't treat people with consideration and respect and fairly then they do not deserve ANY BUSINESS. Took my wife's car in for an oil change & state inspection. They lost her keys for 20 minutes. Then insinuated that I never gave them a key. It was like watching a comedy routine, Daughter asked for some work to be done on her car and what they fixed failed in a day. Had to call customer service to get money back. Never again. read more

This place is terrible I came in to get 4 tires. For some reason they took it upon themselves to check my rear brakes. Which I did not ask them to nor did they tell me they was go to . Now I need new brakes. Save yourself a lot of trouble don't go to this place. Only giving it one star because I had to read more
