Quick stop for a quick bite. Location flowed with our travel plans. Needed a place right next to a gas station, and right off the freeway. It's a win win! Although Goody's offers Drive Thru service, we opted to dine inside (outdoor patio available as well). We wanted to stretch our legs and enjoy some good AC- since we took the twisty roads from San Diego and wanted the preferred scenic route. The menu has plenty to offer, and I do love a good Taco Salad. The ground beef is seasoned well, THANK YOU for not having bland meat! The taco salad is huge. Refried beans underneath the meat- yum! And the fried flour tortilla bowl was lightly fried and crispy. Good enough to pinch off sections from the taco salad bowl and scoop those yum yums up. It's a hit and miss when salsa is plentiful. I requested an additional side of salsa (60 cents). And the original serving was more than enough

Goody's is a small independent Burger chain out here in the Coachella valley. I've been going to them for years and one of the issues I've always had is I think that they are overpriced. I just went to the one in Palm desert and it is a fairly new site. I think, the building looks pretty new. It's very clean and it's a very nice location. All of the workers there are very nice and helpful so I have no issues with them. I just think that their pricing is a little bit out of line. I got the chicken melt which has avocado and bacon and it was delicious. Instead of fries I went with onion rings and a Coke for my upgrade to a combo. All of this was around $24 in change. That is some pricey lunch time stuff. So while this place has a breakfast, lunch and dinner burgers, sandwiches, Mexican food etc. It is too pricey in my opinion

Breakfast burrito with just eggs and cheese $13.00 was way too small for that price, 3 small bites and gone! Complete rip off!!!

This is a really nice location. We have been to most of the Goody's in the desert and this is by far the nicest one. Super fast friendly service and the food is on point. This is going to be one of our go to stops from now on when we go to hockey across the freeway. Can't believe we have never stopped here before. Keep up the solid atmosphere!

I recently visited Goody's Cafe in Palm. Desert, and while the food was decent, I was shocked by their outrageous pricing. They add a $1.50 surcharge per egg dish, which is completely unreasonable given current egg prices. For reference, a two-dozen pack of eggs at the local Sam's Club costs less than $9--that's about $0.37 per egg. Charging an extra $1.50 per egg dish is nothing short of price gouging. I understand restaurants need to cover overhead, but this level of markup is excessive and unfair to customers. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least be transparent about it. Because of this unethical pricing, I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for price gouging. Consumers deserve fair pricing, and businesses that take advantage of the public should be held accountable. Until they correct their pricing practices, I won't be returning, and I encourage others to avoid this place as well. Good food, but unethical and exploitative pricing.

The food is absolutely always great. The Service in the drive thru in the AM has been really great as well. Always smiles. The young lady working the drive though was really kind and even had a great attitude. Walked in to get a couple drinks, and I have no clue what the difference was but, was not promptly greeted with a smile or a simple "hello", as a matter of fact I was met with grouchy faces. Food is great but the service is mediocre at best. read more

Stopped in on my way back to LA. Ordered the double cheeseburger which was not bad. Certainly big. Onion rings and zucchini which were also not bad. Coulda been a little crispier. Ordered 5 orders of hash bowns through the drive-through. Got home with them, and they were blonde, not brown at all. Contacted the manager, who requested that they all be returned. Returned all 5 orders in 1 container, but when they were presented in a single to go container, the manager refused to refund full price, even after weighing them, which means not only did they not cook them, they shorted us on the product as well. I would not recommend this site to anyone at all. read more

Goody's Cafe provides a great restaurant option for diner style food, especially if you're staying at one of the many hotel properties located nearby. When I've dined at Goody's, I've stuck to ordering the basics like a pancake or French toast combo breakfast, a bacon burger (grilled to order) with fries or a BLT sandwich and I have never been disappointed. They also make a tasty shake. The service is prompt (after ordering at the counter). The prices are fair and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. read more

We have had a vacation home in the desert for 20 years, and this is the first time we have eaten at Goodys, we were coming in late and felt like dinner. Most places in the desert close up by 8:00 so the choices were limited. Goodys was open till 10:00 pm and close to the house so we decided to try it. Think of a diner, that serves breakfast all day and night. We walked in, and you needed to order at the counter but they brought you your food, We couldn't decide what to have and asked Alejandro and Alex their opinions, We ended up with a gyro sandwich plate and a tuna melt plate, Each came with a side and we decided we each would have the onion rings and zucchini sticks. Then Alejandro brought us our food. Such huge portions! We actually could have done with one side of the onion rings and zucchini fries and split a sandwich, but next time we will know better. The onion rings and zucchini fries came hot and had such a crispy batter to them. They were light and delightful! My gyro had so much meat in it, I couldn't finish everything but it was so good. The Tzatiki sauce was luscious as well as the ranch dressing that came with the sides. Alejandro had a smile and was so accommodating and kind. It was nice to be served by someone who is so nice, the interior has multiple booths and tables for ten or more. It was also very clean. Really looking forward to going back, especially when you dont want to eat by 7:00! read more

Was deeply disappointed in the food that I received today at Goodys. I ordered a hamburger with Avocado. The burger was cold, burnt and so so small. All for $9.00. I was going to get drink and fries but that was $7.00 extra. Will not be going back. Which is sad since live close by. Way to expensive now! read more

I ordered for our team at work today. Everything was fine, except the salad. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and asked for extra dressing on the side and got none. The salad was dry. I called to see how they would fix this and all they said was they could make another one upon seeing what they made. I'm sorry, no! This place is one of my favorite "go-to's" when I'm not sure what I want. Here's why- they've got huge variety to choose from American to Mexican, good old fashioned huge charbroiled burgers, sandwiches, melts, salads, and large selection of breakfast that's served ALL day & night long. Did I mention they let you substitute the sides from fries to onion rings to zucchini fries to even garden salad. Oh, and the zucchini fries are huge and delish! read more

First time here so was excited to try it. We ordered an avocado, bacon and cheese omelet as well as scrambled eggs with sausage. Both orders came with hashbrowns. The sausage was overcooked and hard and the hashbrowns were flavorless. The omelet was pretty bland and the person who ate it got sick later. Just being honest. Really wanted to like this place but we won't be returning. read more

I truly hope they can turn things around because I would love to enjoy this place again. However, until then I don't think I will be coming back.

Golf course was closed but we were still able to see it. It's a big property. Lots to do. Do like they allow dogs since we had ours. They had multiple pools which we liked. We didn't use it but near one. Neither one looked too busy which was nice. Once we got settled into our room we went to go see Pinz and Pints since they had arcade games, including a duckpin bowling. My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. Hopefully we can go again and experience more of the items they offer.

The resort fee also felt hard to justify. The included amenities did not seem to match the extra charge. The two complimentary drinks were limited to Truly canned drinks or a small pour of hard lemonade or iced tea, which felt underwhelming for a resort of this caliber. We did enjoy the range balls, but as early risers, I would have appreciated access to the spa or pool earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets had what looked like an oil or grease stain, the closet door was broken, and the overall furnishings and finishes felt worn and dated rather than well maintained. This is very much a family resort, so that is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Even at the adults-only Paloma Pool, children were jumping into the water and splashing guests' drinks while parents appeared unconcerned. That made it difficult to relax in what was supposed to be a peaceful setting. On a positive note, the entrance walkway, lobby, and open-air courtyard are beautiful and make for a strong first impression. Unfortunately, that charm does not extend to the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of a refresh.
