The ladies at the front desk are wonder. Super kind and courteous. My dog is in the middle of health crisis... my vet and I have formulated a plan we're both comfortable & confident with where she gets her core treatments at their office and there is some home care treatment. I ran into a relatively simple issue (her port for fluids had clearly slipped) and that required the assistance of a tech to help correct. Because this facility was open after hours my vet had suggested I go see them. When I arrived the first thing I was met with was inappropriate questions about the plan my vet & I put in place for dog. I was lectured on the dangers of providing care for my dog at home, and ultimately she didn't correct the simple issue I originally went in for. I'm sure the vet had the best of intentions but she knew nothing about me, my background, and my experience. And quite frankly I didn't feel compelled to give this woman my resume or list of credentials. Given that my dog is under close supervision by our vet (who has MANY YEARS of experience she does not); her attempts to impugn his decision & abilities (and quite frankly mine) were unprofessional, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable. My advice is simply this... you're an urgent care, address the immediate problem someone needs, don't question the decision of another veterinarian when you clearly don't know what went into making those decisions; and check your personal biases and opinions at the door. I paid $180 simply to be lectured and judged; and my sweet girl never received the care I went looking for- that was extremely frustrating. So I visited my vet first this morning and got my baby squared away. Wishing Loudoun Urgent Vet many years of success, this was one experience and while it was disappointing it won't deter me from going back if I absolutely need. I hope my next visit, whenever that might be, is better.

She was calm yet concerned about Ollie and worked quickly to get us checked in. Her calmness helped calm me! They got us into a room within 5-10 minutes which we are so thankful for bc we know they were busy. The vet we had was Dr. Hodges and she was amazing. I wish I had gotten the name of our vet tech but she was also amazing. They both were so thorough, calm, reassuring, compassionate and their communication was detailed but in a manner that was clear for us to understand. Can't say enough good things about our first time here and we are so thankful to the whole team at Loudoun Urgent Vet tonight 4/26. Thank you!!!

They said nope everything is mandatory and that they proactively charged me 79 dollars for a fecal test I have to collect at home. They wouldn't refund me the 79 but would give me store credit. The exam itself took about 10-15 minutes as I spoke with the doctor (Dr. Vanama) about my dogs history. Dr. Vanama and Devin were both super welcoming & kind. Dr. Vanama really took the time to listen to me & gave me better suggestions (medications) when it came to my dog. I love that she didn't pressure me or anything. Insanely good pricing as well (& this is coming from someone who has worked at an animal hospital before). I've already booked my next appointment with her for my other dog!

The front receptionist greeted us and there was no wait time. We met Dr.Jonathan who was so nice and friendly even though we were the last ones there. He did a thorough exam, was able to run some blood work and extra tests. He figured out what was wrong with Mila. He put together a game plan of treatment. He gave me some sample food to try and almost a week later Mila is so great. I can't thank them enough for the excellent care. The patience and kindness was amazing!!!

I was talked into getting my dog the Lepro initial. I paid the fees for the initial & second shot. When I came in for the second shot, they tell me it had to be done within the 3 wks of the initial shot so I'd have to pay for the initial shot again. Well, shouldn't I have been reminded that when I r/s the second shot & I wasn't refunded for the second shot my dog never got. I requested a medication refill for my dog. The annual exam with the vet & vaccinations was December. The technician said they cannot refill the medication because the December visit was a technician visit. They want my pet to come in for a preventative test to refill his trazodone. That's a lie. There's no such test. I remember talking to the vet in December because he told me most dog allergies are food related. He gave me a handout and since my dog has been vegetarian, it's decreased his itching 90%. I'm so thankful he educated me on that. Their prices are high. I paid for 90 pills of trazodone with them and Chewy charges $21 for 120 pills. The great thing, I've bought a bark collar and he's doing better. I've cut down his trazodone to one pill nightly & Benadryl every morning. I think I might just give him 12.5 mg Benadryl twice a day & keep his bark collar on when I'm working from home & nightly. The great thing about this place is the vet & they have Sunday hours but the technicians are unreliable & unfriendly.

Sometimes it felt like they ran extra testing, which did add to the cost, but at the same time, I would always prefer them to be extra careful rather than miss something. Unfortunately, we recently had to say goodbye to our family member. At the moment when we needed support the most, this team truly stepped up. Dr. Fernandez sat there and cried with us, you cannot imagine how connected I felt to them during such a tough time. This was our first time going through this, and I am actually crying writing this six months later because I am reliving the moment. But Dr. Fernandez gave us comfort and peace of mind when we needed it most. We weren't rushed at all; instead, we were encouraged to stay with him as long as we needed. It was the saddest day of my life, and it meant everything to not feel pressured to leave before I was ready. They even sent us a beautiful gift afterward, which brought us to tears all over again. It was a wonderful gesture. If we ever welcome another four-legged child into our lives, this is exactly where we will bring him.
