Anytime you have to have a microwave IN THE SITTING AREA to warm your food that JUST came out of the kitchen , that's a red flag, My order was simple--toast no butter. There are NO VEGAN OPTIONS on the menu, so I made do. What I received was toast slathered in butter. Did I eat? No. Am I still hungry? Yes. I had a lemon slice off the edge of my mom's water as my meal. In fairness to our waitress, we were a LARGE group of 14. To compile various meals of that magnitude is not easy. Too many items, however came out incomplete, wrong, cold, and tasteless. The grits--were like white, muddy water. And we had MORE than one order of them. How can you make grits taste like, well NOTHING!? They were tasteless and cold--and even the cheese on the grits did not improve the taste. The side of ham never actually appeared with the rest of the meal. Once my husband ate ALL of his meal, the ham finally arrived. The burger was good though, so in fairness, I should mention the good if I am going to talk about the bad. This will be our last visit. We have been coming here for YEARS, but the lack of quality of food and arrival time of our food to the table is not worth the money we paid. We will not return.

Our server, who was also the bartender, was super sweet. We ordered the Buffalo Wings, Fries, Shrimp Tacos and Potstickers. I wanted to try the Poppers and the Eggrolls but they were out. We also ordered drinks as well, the margarita was ok. The wings were very good. I tried a sample of their Boobie sauce and it had a sweet and spicy flavor, it was delicious. The fries were also good and fresh but the potstickers weren't that great. My friends enjoyed the tacos as well. I believe the menu was specifically for Sunday football and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, there were some folks that were smoking cigarettes which made most of my time quite unpleasant. I am not a fan of cigarettes and I hate leaving establishments smelling like smoke. Outside of that, the staff were very nice and the food was decent. With it being football Sunday, folks were rowdy and enjoying the game which was fun but I'm not sure if I'd return.

It was a 1950s-style diner with a great atmosphere, but the waitresses, with their sour faces and attitudes, were distracting, to say the least. We ordered our food; I got the veggie burrito. Sherri asked me if I wanted salsa and sour cream on the side. I said sure! I started to realize she might be charging me for things I'm unaware of when I asked for hot tea and honey. I ended up getting the honey first from someone else who brought it over because she forgot my tea for some time before even noticing. The honey came in a little sealed jar. I asked her, when she finally brought my tea, if I had to pay for the honey. She told me it was 1.75 for it! She could tell I was shocked and got huffy-puffy with me and said, "What, you don't want your tea now?" and I told her I did, but I never opened the honey because I was catching on to what she was doing. I eventually told her to take the honey jar back, and I would use sugar instead. When we asked her for boxes, she brought them to us and just stood there, interrupting our conversation, forcing us to check out right then and there! It was super uncomfortable... I was feeling suspicious of her, so I asked to see my receipt because she obviously wasn't planning on giving me one. She wanted me to pay directly on her toast tablet and do it immediately because she was just awkwardly standing there! And as I asked for a receipt, we told her we wanted to split the pancake we shared because we were paying separately. She became noticeably agitated and said she wouldn't be able to print my receipt then.. which didn't make any sense at all. My friend and I both used those toast tablets at prior serving jobs, we knew she was being fishy. We told her just don't split it then, bring us receipts. She brought them with an attitude and bad energy and walked away. I was charged for the salsa and sour cream she OFFERED me without letting me know they were an upcharge! My home fries came out burnt, and the burrito had absolutely no flavor. I didn't even use the sour cream; I was debating asking for a manager and getting it off my bill... but my friend and I figured if she has been here this long with that kind of service, management obviously doesn't care and is in on the scheming behavior too. I DID NOT tip her, because she was being deceptive the entire time. I did not ASK for sour cream and salsa; she offered it to me and never let me know it was an upcharge. Her attitude is also a big factor in why she did not get a tip from me, and I'm usually a 20 percent or more tipper. She also quickly turned it away from me when I was signing the tablet and mumbled something again, then went over to another waitress, and i could visibly see her talking crap about me. I tried to call and talk to a manager, but you can't call to talk to anyone; they don't even have a welcoming voicemail! I will NEVER EVERRRRRRRRR go back to this place, and I will tell everyone I know about the experience too. Stay away from this soul-sucking place!
