I will never have enough kind words about the employees and quality of the food here! My husband brought me here when we first started dating and he even came here on our wedding day! They always remember us when we come and ask us about how we've been in our careers/life. Yes, this is not New York thin slice pizza (being from NY, I have to say, I got spoiled), it is not Chicago pizza, but it is still delicious! I ate at Got 2 Go for lunch today after having driven past this place many times and seeing the sign out on the sidewalk advertising personal pan pizza for $3.99. OK, I was persuaded by a friend who saw me looking at the outside of this place and hurriedly came out and told me to give this place a chance. Of course, I did take him up on it and he even introduce me to one of the employees, who took my order. The friend has to be a regular customer. Otherwise, he would not know the employee's name and told the person who I was and that I was a computer expert. OK, back to the review. It was quick and came to my table within 15 minutes. So good that I ended up eating all of it. The only downside is that there is no public restroom, which is not good. read more

Context: This is a small pizza place in a strip mall probably serving everybody who works nearby and anybody who drives on San Carlos. Taste: I too was seduced by the personal pizza for 3.99 and was NOT disappointed. You can choose any topping and I went for pepperoni. The crust most closely resembles something you'd find at Pizza Hut or Round Table but the difference is that it's fresh, home-made tasting and unique in it's "un-mass-produced" way. It's unique quality being that the final crust is a bit "airier" and has less gluten but don't worry - it's still pizza as you know it. Price: $4 bucks for a 8 inch personal pizza? Great. Good deals on other menu items too. Service: I wanted my order "to go" but wanted to try the pizza immediately too and the guy brought it outside to me along with the napkin tray with the parm/flakes and stuff. Very nice and left with a smile on my face. Intangibles: Clean, good amount of parking, pizza is fast for something they make on the spot for you. Call ahead if you're really stressed for time. So this is one joint that does everything they are expected to do right for what they are and that's why they got the full star treatment from me. read more

The service here is over-the-top friendly, they will make your crust thick or thin, and if you're hurting for cash, you can get a 1 topping personal pizza for just $4. I love thin crust pizza. So, for much more money, I do prefer the pizza at Amicis. And by 'much more' I mean 2 to 3 times as much. I like to eat-in here even though they only have a couple tables. The greek salad is always fresh and very generous. They even provide table service after you order. If I order 2 sodas for my meal, they'll hold one in the fridge to keep it cold until I'm ready, checking in with me to see if I need it, even when they are crazy busy with call-in delivery orders.
