I was skeptical of the type of pizza this was because of the name - I wasn't sure what to expect. However, this was good! I ordered via DoorDash and they had a $5 coupon which was enticing. I got a large cheese pizza, garlic bread, and ranch, with tip this was $30 which I think is decently priced. The pizza was a little greasy but overall really solid place and a decently priced.

I have to say...this is THE BEST thin crust pizza I have had in SJ. I had a custom slice with mushrooms, pepperoni and garlic. The crust was crispy. I love that they cut it into 2 pieces for easy eating. (Picture for size comparison.) Super fast and such a great price!! It's a little hole in the wall next to a shoe repair and I'm always looking for place like this. The man that was working is super nice and helpful! I'll be back!!

We tried King Kong NY pizza at this location so many times but always too lazy to leave a review! Couldn't wait to eat a slice before taking the photo~~ sooo good! We ordered a half & half BBQ chicken & Combination style King Kong size (MASSIVE) pizza this time for a family gathering! Custom slicing used for family preference and Toppings were very generous too! Always a great choice when craving some pizza !

All Meat Lovers Pizza (King Kong).

Ordered their King Kong All Meat Lovers pizza, an order of wings, and Cesar salad. The pickup takes roughly 20 minutes. The gentleman that took my order was brief over the phone, but very warm and friendly in person. Located a door down from Taqueria Milagro. Beware, parking is tight. If you order the King Kong, clear your trunk otherwise be prepared to eat your pizza at your car or order delivery because it's 24in. I love New York style. Next time I will ask for extra sauce. This was a simply foldable pizza. I think maybe the sausage and pepperoni wouldn't be over-cooked if it was taken out of the oven 60-90 seconds earlier. Crust was good; chewy! The wings were delicious, meaty. I have not tried the salad yet. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. This is a simple, no frills pizza joint. Come try them out!

Although the wings were nice & crispy they were a bit too salty for my liking. The pizza was delicious. I like that they don't put a lot of sauce.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill fast after opening only 2 years ago. The pizza is dry, and they barely add any toppings. When I ordered my pizza, I mentioned the last few orders seemed dry and that there was hardly any pizza sauce. The lady that answered apologized and said she would make sure there was extra pizza sauce on it. Unfortunately the 2 pizzas I ordered tonight had very little sauce and very little toppings. As you can see from the photo, several slices only had 1 or 2 dinky pieces of sausages on it with the most being 3. This has happened the last 3 orders and I finally decided it was time to update my review. Don't expect to get all the toppings you see in the photos. This place hs completely changed from their initial opening.

King Kong is a small local pizza shop that sells by the slice and by the whole! I was craving some pizza, so I thought I would stop by. Parking is limited to a couple spots in front of the store, but you do have to pull in from the main street. The pizza here was good but didn't find it to be anything special nor anything close to NY pizza. MEDIUM PEPPERONI: 3/5 There are about 8 slices of pizza for a medium order. I would describe the size to be similar to Costco or other pizza chains, so it wasn't anything crazy but also nothing too small. Cheese and pepperoni were standard and tasted delicious. The dough was definitely a lot thicker than what I was hoping for a NY style pizza. This isn't bad if it's your preference, but I was really hoping for a thin crust pizza! Not sure if it's worth a revisit but it wasn't a bad try.

I've caught them twice. Trying to hide a missing slice. By moving over the rest of the slices to cover up the missing space. Please see the picture below.

While we were spending time in San Jose, we searched for a good pizza restaurant with NY style pizza. We had an easy time finding this establishment, which was located in a small strip mall next to a grocery store. It's nothing fancy, but once inside, we were greeted by a young man who took our order. We ordered the margarita pizza and sat and waited for a little while until it came out. The pizza was nice and hit and packed with delicious flavor. The crust was chewy but not too much so. Everything had the proper balance of flavor and consistency. The 12" medium was more than enough for us. They had a large TV inside with a baseball game on and it wasn't too crowded when we arrived. King Kong NY Pizza seems like a local favorite, as there were quite a few pickup and delivery orders while we were there. I recommend this place if you're a local or passing through. They offer tasty pizza at an affordable price.

King Kong half pepperoni half cheese! Yummy!

The BF and I enjoyed King Kong New York pizza. We usually order pizza and try out new places during football games. The size of their pizza is insane. I ordered half pepperoni and half cheese both are really good.

Combination King Kong size, dollar bill for sizing perspective
    John L.

Bottom line: plentiful cheesiness, thin crust that needs a tiny bit more salt, FLAMEY toppings, absolutely bonkers pizza sizes. Enjoyed two varieties by take out: veggie gourmet and combination. I enjoyed my eating experience of both. The cheese level was awesome, so much cheese you rarely saw the sauce. The crust is thin style, but substantial enough for a nice center fold bite maneuver. The only downside to the pizza was the crust lacked something flavor wise. I believe it was salt - I say that because I really only noticed it on the vege, whereas the the combo which notably has salty meat I did not notice the crust issue. All the toppings were fresh and flavorful - I wouldn't hold back on toppings when you fire up your next pie! Last comment. Just get the King Kong size. It's a vibe you need to experience.

If i can give a negative star i would! Worst Pizza ever! Old, reheated pizza! Literally a cardboard pizza inside a pizza box, not edible! This is soooo wrong!!!

Special instructions asked to hold olives and add extra sauce. Neither was done.

Slice of New York? How about slice of heaven!…read more I remember my first trip to New York City and my slice of authentic New York pizza. Honestly it wasn't that good. The famous "slice" was underwhelming. So imagine my surprise when I heard rave reviews of Slice of New York on Stevens Creek in San Jose. I had to try it for myself. The service is attentive. The staff make sure you understand what you can order and very carefully take down your order and name. This is reassuring if you've ever had a wrong pizza order. No chance of that here. I ordered a large half pepperoni half mushroom olive to go and a slice of pepperoni while I waited. The slice was impeccable. Large enough to fold over like I was taught in New York City, unlike the slice I had in NYC, this one's tip didn't flop. Perfect! Next came the first bite. Hot, crispy, the perfect amount of sweet tangy pizza sauce, and the great chewy mozzarella. Hot all the way through. All fresh. All perfect. If you want better than the authentic thin crust New York City style pizza, whether a slice or a whole pizza, Slice of New York on Stevens Creek in San Jose is the place to go. When you walk in expect a line. This is ok because it gives you time to see ehat pies are zcsikbsly for slices. Don't worry if you don't see pepperoni, or cheese. Those are always available in the cabinet below the glass display. Get a black t-shirt. The design is retro-perfect.

Got the All American which is their version of combo but there's so much more than just the standard pepperoni and vegetables. You get pepperoni, sausage, ground Beef, canadian bacon, salami, mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions and linguica. SO GOOD. The crust is thinner than I'd prefer but I'm also a bread person. Overall, great pizza and a medium should be perfect for two people. They slice their pizzas thin so you need 2 slices to make a regular slice. As other reviews have mentioned the biggest problem is it's a little too thin around the middle. But the fluffy chewy crust is very enjoyable. I highly recommend the Bianca. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and we were able to be seated without a reservation. The vibe is really casual, and we saw lots of people in big groups. The service and food were okay but nothing really stood out. Our pizza had a good amount of cheese, but the middle was so thin that it basically disintegrated as we picked up each slice. The gnocchi was pretty doughy and bland, but the salad on top was really good and saves the dish. We also got 2 sodas by the staffs' recommendation and one of them wasn't even carbonated , which in my opinion, is the whole point of a soda. I wouldn't come back again and I think there are much better restaurants in the area

However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.
