Love this bagel spot! It's in a convenient location and the bagels are absolutely delicious. I got the OMFG sandwich and it was perfect. Easy to order ahead and pick up!

The bagels are thick and super hard to chew. My jaw hurt and I could not finish more than half the bagel. The contents of the bagel sandwich were alright not did not offset the hard texture of the bagel. Very disappointing.

Solid breakfast sandwich! Placed an order for pickup on a Sunday morning and it was ready in 8 minutes! I got my egg over medium but will try scrambled next time, it was a bit non existent in all the cream cheese. Comes with pickle and hot sauce. Small pickup window, service was fine!

Good breakfast sandwich! Shares location with Eduardo's Enoteca. Gotham bagels offer a takeout option which allows patrons to order via a QR code. You can either eat it inside or take to go. The sandwich options are pretty plentiful for breakfast options. I had the OMFG and was thoroughly satisfied. It wasn't that long of a wait Al's. Maybe 5-7 mins for the sandwich on a Friday afternoon around lunch time. Will highly recommend and be back!

Really enjoyed this bagel joint after a long walk on the lake. I ordered the Brighton Beach on an egg bagel and an iced matcha with oat milk and lavender. Really enjoyed the bagel and how packed it was! The matcha was very tasty, but I could barely taste the lavender. My friend did order a sweet cream cold brew and it was mostly milk and not much cold brew, so minus a star for that. Nice outside patio to sit for a lovely day!

Picked this up for a late breakfast this week, SO GOOD! We ordered ahead and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. The sandwich was very filling and could have easily fed two. Incredibly flavorful, salmon was amazing, not fishy or chewy. Will definitely be back. Parking was a little difficult as I don't think they have a parking lot, but worth the struggle.

Looking for a taste of NY while in Chicago then check out this place for a fresh bagel and delicious cream cheese.

Finally a bagel shop that gives you a ton of filling and toppings! Such a refreshing cream cheese and paired well with the fresh vegetables. The bread is very dense so it is hard to eat.

The price for a sausage egg and cheese bagel plus tax and forced tip was $17.30. Yes you read that correctly. I used to go to the location in Madison, WI when I was in college there instead of going to Einsteins. It's been 10 years but there is no way in heck that the cost of this should be near that. I ordered a spicy sausage, soft fried egg and cheese on an everything bagel and that was it. As you can see the bagel was huge and the fixings were all skimpy. 1 extra thin slice of cheddar, 1 small egg and a mini sausage patty is what they consider reasonable portions. Then to top it off, when I was paying it automatically added a tip even though I was taking it to go. Tips on to go orders are insane. The worst thing was that the gentleman in front of me ordered a chocolate milk for his daughter and the service was great and cheery. Once the cashier with the blond hair and glasses heard us talking about Trump and all the great things that have been happening politely, the cashier became upset and clearly changed his service quality. Gave the food the to gentleman with an attitude and did the same for me. Put your emotions to the side bud. We pay $15 for a bagel and not attitude. Never going back to Gotham Bagel and sticking with NYC Bagel Deli on Dearborn and Illinois. Best fresh bagels in Chicago hands down. When you tip there willingly, the whole crew says thank you and even the guys in the kitchen!

Gotham is a go to bagel spot for me when I'm in Chicago! They have a great variety of bagel sandwiches and it always hits the spot. They gave me a pickle and side of hot sauce in my to go bag. The coffee is pretty solid too, but nothing special. This location is inside of Eduardo's in the back, I'll be back next time!

Neighborhood gem. Great spot to drop in for a tasty bagel sammy and hot coffee. Got the Brighton Beach today and if you like salmon, its really great and fresh. They just remodeled and have new indoor and outdoor seating on Dearborn as opposed to the back of pick up window. It looks nice. Staff is very friendly and service is quick. Also, my wife is hot.

Sesame bagel with bacon egg and American cheese, vanilla matcha latte

I was in town and Gotham has been on my bagel list for quite some time. I almost missed it walking by because the sign said a different restaurant. The inside was a bit snug, and since it was Sunday morning it was pretty busy. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel with a vanilla matcha latte and vanilla. The bagel itself was flavorful, and I'm very particular about how the bacon is cooked. The bacon was really crispy (how I like it!) and the cheese was nice and gooey. I had to ask them for more vanilla flavoring in my matcha but that's just a personal preference. I probably wouldn't order a matcha from here again but will definitely rely on gotham bagels to satisfy my bagel addiction next time I'm in town!

How can they charge 3.50 for a bagel. This place is way to expensive. I will continue to go to NY bagels in Lincolnwood. 1.00 per bagel.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.
