Fast service. Got three slices ($9),couldn't wait 10 minutes for a pizza pie($12). Great price . Its the heart of NYC you cannot go wrong with eating pizza from anywhere around here. Visiting from FL you know I miss this thin crust goodness . Thanks guys!!

Great lunch deal! $5 for 2 slices and a soda. Sign us up! You get what you pay for here. Basic pizza. Decent size for the cost but nothing special but it suited our need (a quick bite before we hoped in line for a music festival.) Only problem- we used the bathroom before we left. No running water or soap. Then the trash barrel was placed in front of the bathroom. We moved it to get in. Upon leaving we were blocked in by the barrel. The cook helped us, moving the barrel with his bare hands then touched a huge pile of dough he was working on! (Yuck!)

Neighborhood slice Thought I would swing by since this place is close to my place. Grabbed two slices, one mushroom and one olive. They used fresh mushrooms! The slices were decent. Nice crust on them, not a lot of sauce or cheese. Nothing special I would say but got the job done. At $4 a slice, a little pricier than some other spots

Delicious. $5 lunch special (two plain slices and a Can of soda). The crust isn't soggy or floppy, even the part that supports the cheese/toppings. Love this place.

While not my favorite on the Upper East Side, the pizza here is pretty good. I had a slice of the Margherita pizza and an order of the garlic knots. They did not provide any sauce with the garlic knots. The pizza was good, but the garlic knots were just okay. They were on the small side and kind of hard. I don't think they were fresh. They accept cards here.

I worked on this side of the city for 2 years and while I was here this was my favorite pizza spot. I would always get my buffalo chicken slice with a fruit punch. Pizza has a great crust and very flavorful. If you are on the hooded east side check out Gotham Pizza it will be worth the stop.

Best pizza I've ever eaten! As a visitor to NYC I knew I had to try the pizza, I randomly picked Gotham Pizza for delivery to our hotel room and I was blown away how good it was. Now all other pizzas are never going to satisfy me again

Crust was thin and crispy. Cheese and Marinara ratio was balanced. A bit oily. Contender for best late night slice I've had so far.

My absolute favorite pizza . They always make it the way you want it. Extra saucy, just the way I like it. Delicious and crispy crust, ingredients are fresh. And service and delivery is quick. Thank you Gotham!

    Yum!

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
