Had their chicken gyro once and found myself not being able to stop eating. Came back to try their chicken shish kebab wrap. There were 4 pieces of semi-large chicken pieces (great flavor), lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. They give you extra hot sauce & yogurt sauce on the side. Large wraps, worth the price. I would come back to try the shish kebab rice plate next time!

Seriously so bomb!! Perfect bar food and conveniently located right next to the bar (outside) We ordered the lamb fries and it exceeded my expectations! The fries were perfectly crispy and the lamb pieces were so tender. Literally the best lamb fries I couldve asked for. He asked for our preferred spice level and let us know that spicy was pretty spiceyyy so watch out haha You can get a side of fries and/or pita bread if you want to get a plate with rice instead. HIGHLY recommend if youre in the Walnut Creek area! Thanks so much yall

Staff is extremely nice! Portions are very generous and tasty! Falafel have a nice crunch on the outside and pillowy on the inside; very well seasoned. Chicken and lamb was juicy and tender.

I got to try King Gyro while visiting Retro Junkie in Walnut Creek on a Friday night to enjoy classic rock songs being performed by the Fooz Fighters. Retro Junkie regularly hosts live concerts featuring cover bands and has a different food truck on site each night. So there were no other food options at the venue this past Friday, but our experience with this halal food truck turned out being better than expected. We got the lamb gyro and lamb over rice platter, and both were pretty good. I'm usually not too fond of the gamy taste of lamb, but it wasn't so pungent at King Gyro and was flavored really nicely, in fact I could have mistaken it for beef. The white sauce wasn't overdone and balanced really well with the seasoned rice and fresh veggies. So even if I wouldn't consider it the best Greek food in the bay area, overall my meal was quite satisfying. In addition, service was friendly and pretty standard, and the wait time was about 10 minutes with no guests in front of us.

Be careful when you Tap to pay

Fries say $15.99 and he charged me $18.. he added his own tip.. Double check before you tap!!

We ordered a food truck for my son's birthday and this truck was a hit. The food was fresh and delicious! Everyone was impressed. Many friends asked for their contact info, as well. They communicated well leading up to the event and were flexible with any last minute changes! Thank you so much guys!

    2 combo plates for $25

This place really lacked flavor and any reminisce of halal food. Started off bad by getting our order wrong. Then continued when he pulled meat from a pre cooked tray instead of a spit. Lastly, they used sriracha for their hot sauce - what a joke. The meat was bland, the sauces were lacking and the combo plate was tiny compared to other pictures I've seen. & it was overpriced. $25 for two combo plates. Would NOT recommend if you're craving halal.

Super delicious falafel. The rice is to die for. A little pricey for food truck food but it still hit the spot!

It's clearly a chain, but somehow I'd never heard of it before. Lucky me, because I had no idea what a treat I was in for. I placed my to-go order at the self-service kiosk and waited about 10 minutes in a lively dining room covered in colorful graffiti-style artwork while an eclectic mix of rock and country music played in the background. When my name was called, the real experience began once I got back to my car. First, the fries. They were perfectly golden, crispy, crunchy, and seasoned just right. I dipped them into what I quickly learned is Dave's famous, highly coveted sauce, and the combination was absolutely delicious. I'm not a big bread person and I'm notorious for deconstructing my sandwiches, so I took the chicken from the slider--more like an oversized, juicy chicken tender than a nugget--dipped it in the sauce, and paired it with the fries. It was the perfect bite every time. I ordered the #4 meal, which comes with two small sliders and fries. The sliders are served with slaw, pickles, kale slaw, and Dave's sauce unless you customize them. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. It turned out to be the perfect snack, and I'll definitely be back.

He was willing to let me into the kitchen area so i can wash my hands, but you cannot use the restroom. If the restaurant is OPEN the services are as well. VERY disappointed with this new generation. The girl on front she was very friendly and very CS oriented. Good Job for her.

Can I give Seven Stars?!…read more Once in a rare while, one's experience is way above and beyond one's expectations! Thanks to Justin (Director of Operations) and Andy (Asst. General Manager), we were the fortunate ones yesterday! Rest of the story: we booked the entire restaurant for a lunch event on Sunday. With about 70 guests, the event went exceptionally smoothly and everyone had a great time! Not even one unhappy guest! The food, as usual, was exceptional. Justin personally tended the bar - with his staff - and kept everyone happy with their exotic cocktails. The fresh coconuts were so delicious and popular that I later heard them tell each other: "coconuts are 86!" He even made a very selective guest happy with a special sipping tequila! What made the most impact was their attitude. They dealt exceptionally well with demanding customers and cheerfully served the rest! Andy helped plan the event with cocktails, appetizers, mains and desserts. They suggested creating a Spotify playlist for the event and that worked great. From the beginning till the end, their flexibility, attitude and willingness to make every possible effort to make it a great event was obvious! Seven stars!

Amazing, delicious food!…read more Today I ordered the Kabuli rice with chicken, and I couldn't stop eating--it was absolutely delicious. The yogurt sauce was the perfect complement. Just a heads-up: the red sauce is very spicy, so use it with caution! This was my second visit, and you've definitely won me over. I'll be coming back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

Interior austere with no decor. R & B Music from FM with commercials. Service wasn't quick as the single person on duty was packaging orders previously placed. When he was available, I placed order which was ready in 11ish minutes. Offerings (halal): chicken sandwich, tenders, rice bowl, wings, salads, wrap, pizza, kebabs, drinks, sides (4). Set orders begin at $10. Bites: tenders & crispy fries (10) -about 20 pieces 3/8" regular cut fries, crunchy, not mushy, tasted ok, nothing special -dab of cole slaw tastes fresh, crunchy, 3 pickles tart. -small piece of tender crunchy on outside, dryish bland on inside. Mild Thyme sauce added zest. Mac & cheese (4) initially tasted watery, bland, warm. When it cooled, cheese more pronounced, velvety, had a slight peppery kick. Also slight sodium aftertaste. 3.5 stars. service lackluster. Tender passable. Mac Cheese is the star. Quantiy/pricing reasonable.
