Placed an order for pickup and didn't realize it scheduled a time. Got there early and one of the employees immediately came up and asked what my pickup order name was. Well I was 20 minutes early and he informed me he would try and speed it up but I ended up telling him it was okay and I'd go shopping next door. I got the not so fried chicken sandwich and my family got the chicken parm dip sandwich. We all loved our food. It was all so fresh and packed full. While I waited I noticed how clean everything was. My personal favorite was the grass bench.

I noticed some limited time salad bowl options on their website and decided to try one. I went with the Golden State Cobb salad, which is a straightforward Cobb style salad with mixed greens, bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, blue cheese, tomatoes, and pickled red onions. You can add extra protein, and so I added chicken. The chicken looked kind of pale and bland at first, but it actually worked very well with the salad and the dressing, and it was surprisingly tender. Overall, the salad was pretty filling, used fresh ingredients, and stayed close to the classic Cobb formula. I also liked that the salad and dressing were packaged separately, which made it easy to control how much dressing I used. Flavor wise, everything felt well balanced, and the combination of bacon and blue cheese stood out to me in a good way. It was very enjoyable. We also tried three cookies: chocolate chip, gingerbread, and snickerdoodle. The gingerbread and snickerdoodle cookies were both fantastic, thick with slightly soft centers. The chocolate chip cookie, however, was not great. It was dry, the chocolate chip really wasn't giving anything, and overall it was hugely disappointing. I would skip that one next time.

I love Mendocino simplicity We came at 4 pm so it was super quiet. Otherwise it is best to order on their app and collect. Never disappointed with the freshness and the combo of flavors.

Stopped for some grub here on the way back from Lake Tahoe. The boys were on a bender for the 4th of July weekend and needed some good healthy food to recover. This totally hit the spot and helped cure the hangover. Got a salad and it healed me. Super fresh, healthy ingredients with such great flavor combos. Service was fast, and the restaurant was very clean. We sat at the outdoor tables and it was great. Definitely will be returning to Mendocino farms

Yumm enjoyed my steak sandwich. Good mix of sweet and savory. The bread was soft yet toasty.

My friend and I met here for lunch on a Monday afternoon and it was really so pleasant. The food is delicious even though it's a bit pricey I think it's worth it. We sat outside and the ambience was OK but unfortunately, we were the unlucky people who got sat next to by a group of moms was screaming kids so that was a bummer but that's not the fault of Mendocino Farms. The service at Mendocino Farms is really awesome. The people that work there are friendly and nice. I got the Thai salad and my friend got a Panini and we absolutely loved it. My Thai salad although it cost $19 altogether was so plentiful that I had it with my dinner also so that's cool. I would definitely go back.

mendocino farms serves sandwiches and salads, with a good selection of alcohol. i needed up getting their Chicken & Prosciutto sandwich, served with roasted chicken, fresh mozzarella, veggies and a panini-pressed bread with sweet almonds; i got some Rosé wine along with my food i loved the ambiance, the staff was friendly and it was busy with delivery orders all Tuesday night. i gotta come back for their salads. i also got a bite from my friend's sandwich, the Peruvian Steak, and it was very goo, although packed with sauce Chicken & Prosciutto (9.5/10) a perfect combination of chicken, basil pesto and sweet bread with almonds. the gang said it was their favorite, as they grit their respective ones Rosé wine: (9/10) wine was wining thx, mendocino

You know the drill; walk up, read a menu either on the board or printed, place your order, you're given drink cups or a can, depending what you're drinking. Find a table & wait for yumminess to arrive. There was an order of a vegan banh mi & a chicken hummus crunch wrap. Followed by a lemonade & a flavored water. The wrap was filling, so I was only able to eat half; it had good flavor & crunch. So I wrapped it up & IT WAS STILL TASTY the following day - wowza I was impressed! Really impressed! The lemonade was delicious. The kid loved the vegan banh mi. Very casual ambiance, tables both inside & out. I'll be back.

    November to Remember
    Martha G.

I got my early turkey fix! I ordered the Chef's Special and it satisfied my gobble, gobble craving. The November to Remember: roasted turkey, melted mozzarella, mushroom & turkey sausage stuffing, spicy cranberry chutney, shredded romaine, herb aioli, on toasted cranberry walnut wheat bread. My only complaint was the wilted shredded romaine lettuce. I picked up my order and I did not eat it right away so that might have been my fault. Or perhaps the lettuce was not fresh/set out too long

Ample parking, large and clean space, same menu as all the other Mendocino Farms. Love that one side of the restaurant has bench seating made of faux grass. Cow anyone??? Service was fast. Salads were delicious, just like I remembered it always to be, but they seemed to be slightly smaller in size. I remember them to be filled to the point of needing to take some home, so either Walnut Creek just doesn't fill theirs as generously or this is their new "thang"! Salads are still tasty though.

So fresh and unque! Drove by a million times but never visited until now. But looking for a place after the gym and it was still open. At first we were worried that we didn't order enough since we were starving but definitely filled us up!! All the veggies were fresh and the flavors packed a punch. But what was amazing was the texture combos. Yes I am giving them a 5 because they know how to make the tongue sing because of texture! The quinoa combined with the creaminess of avocado. They added the 'krispies' (fried polenta) to sandwiches to add excitement to all the juicy protein and crunchy veggies. The chinese chicken salad also had the perfect balance of chicken, veggies, wontons. Ample parking, friendly service, and super clean. We came 2 nites in a row and were wowed both times. Can't wait to be back.

Don't get me wrong, the Genova's in the big (little) Dub Cee does what it can to keep up and turns out some pretty decent sandwiches. It has all the trademark imported knickknacks (biscotti, multicolored taffy in well-worn bins, boxed panettone, etc.) as well as traditional staples like wine, fresh pasta and the famed Genova's brand boxed frozen ravioli for you to take home and spoil your family with in a variety of flavors like artichoke, mushroom and even pumpkin. But it lacks soul. It lacks spirit. It doesn't have any of the flavor that the Genova's in Oakland had and each sandwich churned out is indicative of that. It's just not that good. And for a sandwich you have to wait a mighty long time for, it better be good. Real good. So, I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have a Genova's left to go to and that's okay. Sometimes it's better to have loved and lost (a sandwich) than never to have loved at all.

But what I love most is that they are innovators--they do not sit around and let the menu get dusty, they are always doing something new. New drinks, new cold foams, adding an ice cream machine. And not in a way that feels like whiplash, but just like menu drops that make sense. This is how you run a place that is good to locals and people visiting for the first time...
