Loaded Hummus with Chicken Loaded Hummus with Beef
    Annie A.

I live near Richmond and Westheimer, and I placed an order for 6:00 pm this afternoon. Start checking Dasher on the driving map; instead of going to a closer area, they send him farther orders first. He made a few stops and finally dropped the food at the nearest stop. The food was packed poorly, the boxes were open, and the sauces were upside down. I ordered Loaded Hummus with Chicken, cold like ice. Hot chicken pieces taste better on the Hummus. 2nd order Loaded Hummus with Beef, samething happened to this order too. Taco was cold and tomatoes are mushy now. Here are the pictures. Not recommended at all, especially delivery order. First timea and last time. Everything was wrong with this order. I can't even warm Loaded Hummus with Chicken Or Loaded Hummus with Beef. Size is small desert box so $40:00 not worth it.

    Lamb Shish kabob Over Rice

So yummy and affordable! I was so excited to finally try this food truck and it definitely lived up to the hype. I got the Merguez wrap and the lamb kabob over rice with a lamb chop on the side. The Merguez wrap came with garlic sauce on the side, and inside the wrap it had tomatoes, onions, fries, a spiced ground beef and another creamy/ savory sauce. I also got some harissa on the side as well add some spice. It was super flavorful and filling. (7.5/10) The lamb kabob over rice was also delicious. The lamb was really tender and well-seasoned. This also came with garlic sauce and a side of greens, which I enjoyed. I loved the large portion and would definitely recommend this for those fellow lamb lovers. (8/10) The lamb chop was definitely the star of the meal. Not only was the lamb itself cooked perfectly, but I also loved the char on the meat and bone. Some of the best lamb I have had is from this food truck. On top of that, if you order any dish, you can add a lamb chop for only $4 extra. The only thing is that the lamb chop is on the smaller side, but for what you're spending, it is totally worth it. (8.5/10) It's in the food truck park in the Galleria area so there is no seating and parking is limited. If you are ordering from here, I would recommend calling ahead, so you don't have to wait for your food outside. I will definitely be back to try more items!

These are the best halal chicken since ever had. I order them frequently because they have such good taste. I've ordered over rice and over fries, recommend over rice. Flavor is better, pair it with garlic sauce it does not disappoint!! I've done both delivery and pickup and recommend delivery it's too much of a hassle for pickup.

Lamb kabob over rice with garlic sauce

Been wanting to try this food trucks out for a while now and finally got the chance today. I first got the Merguez wrap and it was great, definitely a different taste than other wraps and shawarmas but in a good way, definitely recommend it if you're not too hungry. I also got the lamb over rice and it was great, the lamb wasn't tender and not tough or gamey. The rice was really good too and the serving size of the lamb was generous. This plate alone was very filling and I wasn't hungry the rest of the night. Next time I wanna try what my friends got which was the chicken wings over rice plate with extra garlic sauce on the chicken wings. This seemed to be their favorite and they liked it better than my lamb. It does take some time to cook though so best to order ahead of time. The service is great and as for the ambiance it's a food truck park so not much to say there. I highly recommend Gourmandize for healthy and filling food!

    Chicken wings over rice

I've been really eyeing Gourmandize for the past year and decided to finally try it the day before my final. They're a Tunisian food truck serving Mediterranean grilled meats and wraps in the Galleria area. I thought about getting their lamb chops over rice since they were actually pretty cheap but I decided to get their grilled wings over rice instead. I waited about 25 minutes for my order. They provide 6 wings over seasoned rice and a side salad with ranch and a garlic sauce. Their wings are hugeee but I was expecting a little more flavor out of them. The rice was full of seasoning and was pretty good though. I actually reallly liked their side salad, it was a good accompaniment to the fatty and heavy chicken wings. Both the ranch and the garlic sauce were pretty solid, but it was pretty hard to dip the wings inside the sauce cups. Honestly I don't know why I chose this dish because it knocked me out for a few hours when I had a 2 finals the next day to study for. I think I should've just gotten the lamb chops, or one of their signature wraps. I'll be back again to try one of those

My absolute favorite place right now for lamb chops. Wow wow wow!!! I wish they had a location in Sugarland now. Make sure you order ahead though from what I heard and I'm glad I did! Good food takes time to make. The fresh juice (hibiscus, pineapple, ginger, mint and lemon) was amazing! Paired so well with the food. The chicken shwarma was also very good. Super food coma after this meal. I will be coming here very very frequently!

Had to call over the server to order after chatting for a bit, so I appreciated that it wasn't pushy in terms of needing to get the patrons to order food quickly. The waiters were all very attentive and friendly. We ordered an appetizer that came with kibbeh, fried cheese wrapped in an eggroll wrapper, and falafel. I'm not usually a falafel person, but this one changed me. The kibbeh and the fried cheese was incredible as well!! As for the main dish, I got the shish kabob combo and was served a hefty portion - honestly enough for 2 people. The rice was so fluffy and the shish was moist and cooked wonderfully! Total was around $28 with taxes excluding tip - so quite hefty of a price tag but really delicious food worth coming back for.

My favorite item was probably the beef shish kabob. Overall a good spot for Mediterranean food if you're in the area!

There are several…read morelocations around Houston, but I especially like this Katy Freeway location because it offers weekday specials that provide excellent value. Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., they offer a lunch special with one kebab and two sides for $17. They also have a happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with one kebab and two sides for $15, which is a great deal. The kebab options typically include chicken, beef, lamb, or shrimp. To my knowledge, the other Fadi's locations do not offer these specials. On my most recent visit, I stopped by for happy hour. While the kebabs aren't necessarily my favorite item on the menu, it's hard to beat a meal with one kebab and two sides for $15. I chose the pomegranate eggplant, fried cauliflower, and their "Mama Ganoush," a roasted eggplant dip similar to baba ganoush. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Each meal also comes with a warm pita bread that is served fresh from the oven. The ordering process is simple: grab a tray, move down the line, and choose from the foods on display before paying at the register. The staff are always friendly, and there's plenty of seating inside. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Mediterranean food in the Katy area, Fadi's is an easy recommendation.
