The front desk staff (one male, one female) working the evening of Feb 28 were smug, unhelpful and unapologetic. When we were finally seated, they seated my 80 year old parents right beside the band in the bar area. Really? Due to the long wait to get a table, we didn't dare ask to be moved. The quality of the food and music were frankly irrelevant after being treated so poorly. This ruined what was meant to be a special evening for my dad. We won't be back and would not recommend dining here under any circumstance. The host and hostess should rethink working in hospitality... they are not cut out for it. read more

Long review The restaurant is a hidden gem so don't be thrown its location (the shopping strip it sits in is drab). Theres two different sides/vibes going on under one roof. One side is more casual than the other but that's just my opinion. The service and table setting is great on both sides. However, I tend to sit on the more casual side when grabbing lunch or dining after work and the formal side on date nights. Both side have outdoor seating!! I like having the option of choosing between two different vibes in one restaurant. There's a ton of parking spaces available close to restaurant. The staff is nice and knowledgeable of the menu and what they have to offer. The service is just amazing, they really cater to their guest. Our waiter checked on us often and the busboy was there to clear the table of finished items without being asked. Yelped this establishment approximately a year ago and went with the wife. We had an amazing time and enjoyed a phenomenal steak that I never expected to even be on the menu. I was told if I ever wanted the steak again that I could call and see if the chef would oblige. Here we are one year later and we're back in town with friends. I had a 7pm reservation for Christmas Eve. We were sat at 8:30, finished eating at 9:30. To add insult to injury, the menu was a bait and switch as the description for our dishes included "dive grilled scallops". When our meals came out the scallops were actually bay scallops and too small to grill. When asked, the staff insisted those are the scallops that were intended for the dishes. Those are absolutely not the kind of scallops that would be grilled. One of the dishes was $46. For this price point, we should have gotten the diver scallops grilled as described on the menu. Bay scallops are a much cheaper species. Not only did we wait an hour and a half to be sat, with reservations, we felt ripped off by the meal. Oh and. They ran out of bread. The End. read more

I wish I could give Gourmet Italia a good review, but our experience was beyond disappointing. We arrived at 6:45 PM for our party of nine, and we were told that if we got there before 7:30 PM, we would be seated by 7:45 PM. Instead, we weren't seated until 8:15 PM--an hour and a half after we arrived. There was no communication or apology for the delay, just excuse after excuse. Once seated, the server kept pushing the specials on us, even after we declined multiple times. Eventually, some of us gave in and ordered them--only to find out at 9:15 PM (almost two and a half hours later) that they didn't even have the scallops or squid ink for the squid ink pasta. Our food didn't come out until 9:30 PM, and when it finally did, it was cold and disappointing. They still charged us full price for the squid ink pasta, even though what we got was basically fettuccine with shrimp--nothing like what was described. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to a manager or owner, Alex (the owner) came to our table but said nothing--just offered pepper on our meals and walked away. We told him we wanted to speak with him after we ate, but he refused to return. When my friend finally went to find him, he argued with her, saying we "don't understand the service industry." My friend, who has years of customer service experience, told him that the least he could do was apologize--especially since this was supposed to be a birthday dinner. His response? He laughed in her face and said, "I don't even apologize to my own wife." To top it off, they brought out desserts we didn't order and gave us 20% off, which we appreciated, but the bill still included the full price for the squid ink pasta, despite missing its key ingredients. The entire time, we felt like we were being monitored, as if they thought we were going to dine and dash. Every time we asked for Alex or even his name, the staff would ignore us and walk away, almost as if they were afraid of him. Our server, Ashley, started out great but later rushed us and avoided our questions about Alex, making it clear that they wanted us out. We waited hours for food that wasn't even what we ordered, dealt with horrible service, and were treated rudely by the owner himself. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I had dinner at this location on January 31, 2026. Upon entering, I asked the hostess for a quiet table if possible. She did NOT acknowledge my request, displayed an attitude of dismissiveness, and set us at a table near the bar. After seating, our waitress came by promptly. She did a fairly hard sell on trying to get us interested in drinks and appetizers when we asked to just see the menu. I ordered the pasta salmon dish which she stated was NOT a salmon fillet but chunks of salmon sprinkled into the pasta. When I got that entree, I was amazed to find no visible salmon at all. The dish appeared to be only pasta tinted orange by marinara sauce. I set my plate aside and waited for the waitress to return. When she did, she answered my complaint by running my fork through the pasta and pointed to a very small flake of salmon she found. But she did take my dish back for credit. My partner ordered a Caesar salad with jumbo shrimp which the waitress quoted as adding $5 per shrimp to the salad price. When the dish arrived it contained five shrimp which were not jumbo but simply large shrimp which were made to look bigger by the fact that the heads had not been removed. Very clever from a profit point of view. It was the most expensive Caesar salad I had ever seen by far! read more

The server asked " May I help you " and I answered with " we'd like a table for 3 please " she then replied with " do you have a reservation?" We had said no . Let me say, everything from start to finish was fresh and delicious. No complaints whatsoever! We had the nicest waitress and helped us with our selections and recommendations so thank you so much! The starter bread and tapenade was so fresh and warm and soft. Delicious and the tapenade I loved! The burrata was so tasty and creamy. The bruschetta was seasoned just right and the bread it comes with is amazing! I ordered the capellini which did not need any protein at all! It's that good! So simple yet so full of flavor. We did have mildly high expectations for this restaurant because of the glowing Yelp reviews. The host was hilarious and made our night. The melting candles with a crazy amount of wax were pretty cool. We got one of the bruschetta appetizers that had really great flavor, the balsamic was amazing. We ordered the fillet tip fusilli pasta and it was disappointing. It did not seem like a single spice was used, even salt. After adding that on it did help, but besides the sauce, it was lacking flavor- 5/10. The service was pretty slow, we were there for 2 hours and tried to order quickly. The best thing we had was the pistachio cream puff dessert. The spumoni dessert did not blow me away despite it being the most popular one. I think it was presentation over quality. One odd thing was that we did not get a spoon for the ice cream dessert and it was extremely hard to eat with a fork.
