This place is a hidden gem. I stopped by for a quick breakfast before heading into the office. Veggie breakfast burrito. It's inexpensive and good portions. I highly recommend. Parking is tricky because of the area. I usually park up the street on the hill. Good walk to get the blood flowing. Grace is a sweet lady. This is the cuuuuutest neighborhood spot! Nothing fancy- but delicious & generously portioned food! Lots of street parking nearby- don't forget to turn your wheels, it's on a bit of a hill. I got the chicken ranch sandwich and was so so surprised when it came out. It was HUGE!! Freshly made chicken, and possibly the freshest whole leaf lettuce I've ever had on a sandwich.... I got this bad boy & a can of sprite for under $10. Like- what!?! I also love that they still write ordering tickets and then file them when completed- very cute. I think I'll try tacos next time... such a cute spot!! There is construction nearby and I guess the gents come often as the cashier greeted them personally. I love that they have 'regulars'! If you want amazing service and amazing food graces cafe is the place to go. The staff is super super friendly and the food is so good and greatly priced. My go to is a breakfasts burrito with bacon and sausage and it's a pretty decent size. The ambiance is like a cafeteria cafe which is really nostalgic for me and I wanna say grace who is running the register is so nice. read more

I came here after reading so many great reviews. I called Grace Cafe to place a large breakfast order for my office. The prices are great for such delicious food. I personally got the sausage breakfast burrito. It was really tasty and a decent size. The service was also really great. There was plenty of parking on the side street. I would definitely come back here to try their lunch items. Tip: if you have a large order, place it the day before so they'll have enough time to prepare your food. There wasn't an issue with mine but I was advised placing a large order the day before is best. read more

So incredibly pleased by this spot. This is the only restaurant for a few blocks, so I popped in. There were about 10 empty tables, and a dozen ppl standing around waiting for their orders. It did not take very long at all. They had sandwiches, wraps, salads, and even tacos. The Chinese chicken salad was large and under $10. In fact, everything there was priced just right. It was tasty, only missing some sliced almonds. I will definitely be back to try all the other offerings. read more

They have no real schedule. The closing time says 3pm but they always close at 1pm or sooner. You cannot rely on them for lunch because they close the whole business whenever they want. Best to call ahead so you know if they left work early. read more

What's not to love about this place- a delicious, quick bite is the reason to stop by. Grace is a wonderful host and greets every customer with a personal touch-my go-to lunch special is the sole of fish/ lightly grilled but the star is the tomato caper sauce-with a hint of acid, the freshness of the tomato compliments the fish. It is my first time, and it won't be my last. Grace, the owner, is a very humble and caring owner, and my first impression was nothing but the best. Not only was her food great, but the prices she kept were insane, and her story about how she prices everything and what quality she puts into it is not only entertaining but indeed shows her personality. It's a gem that's truly tucked away, and for her to be there for over two decades is pretty insane. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants good food from a great owner at unbelievable prices. Her club sandwich is above and beyond! And her city salad! read more

The service here is very hit or miss, really depends on the current mood of the owners I guess. My last straw was when I was calling for a pickup order and as soon as the phone was answered, the lady, who I'm assuming is Grace, answered the phone and told me to "hurry up". Mind you, she just answered the phone, I wasn't taking long to order for that response to be warranted and it made me incredibly uncomfortable. Even if she was dealing with a lot at her store at that moment you still don't tell a paying, loyal customer to "hurry up". I told her my order but never bothered to go pick it up because I found her to be rude and frankly, the interaction made me uncomfortable. I really like this place, I like the breakfast burrito, it's very affordable and is great tasting but this entire experience has me questioning whether or not I should give this business my money, it's a shame. read more

I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.

Try out Johnny's Breakfast Sandwich; the swiss cheese and chipotle aioli make this no ordinary ham+egg+cheese sandwich.

I love this Little Place. Don't expect fine dining, but for a great quick lunch or breakfast, IT'S PERFECT! I love that u can call in and order b4 hand, they constantly maintain the same flavor. The menu is huge for such a small place. I love the breakfast burrito, but the turkey cheddar and egg croissant sandwich even more! For lunch? The salads are great and so is the chicken teriyaki bowl, ask for Sriracha(different then what they give)... Come try this little place, they have everything Ur lil heart could ever desire..... Except steak.... Plus the lady is soooo nice, the guy next to me didn't realize they had feta on his salad, she took it back right away, and happily, a fresh one with even more chicken came right out!!! read more

There aren't many places downtown where you can get a triple-decker club sandwich with avocado and bacon (chips included) for under $6. It's probably not very accessible unless you live or work nearby, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and need a bite to eat. read more

I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. Burrito was good in all senses possible. It was yummy and fresh but what concerns bacon I can't say the same. It was so tasteless and strangely too salty. Servers were lovely to cope with. They were so helpful. read more
