Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I was craving for sandwiches and found this place with great reviews. I asked for the most popular menu and I picked Italian sub. Sandwich was pretty packed and made me full. I don't really like the bread though. It was a bit chwey. I usually eat French dip or the ones with sauces so this one is a bit dry for me but it has good value and fresh meat. I would repeat and try other sandwiches.

I stopped by Mike's Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I'm glad I did! While the store itself isn't flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches. The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike's Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor. Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too. It's an d-school, simple deli that doesn't stand out cosmetically, but it's clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Hot Reuben Sandwich

Pulled up to DTLA and had to grab myself a sandwich at this little spot. Got a Reuben sandwich, the pastrami was on a different level, real quality. The sandwich overall didn't need that sauerkraut in my opinion, it had a sweet taste that to me wasn't very necessary. I would be back though, you can taste the quality in the ingredients and the pastrami was some of the best I've had. Reuben sandwich: 8.1

First time going to this location. Plenty of chips and drink options. Super quick and friendly service. A few tables to sit at, and outside patio. Same quality sandwich, one of the best in LA. The other location has onion rings and fries, not sure that this one does.

Italian submariner

Was in Little Tokyo and craving an Italian sub, so I decided to stop by this deli that seems to be known for its sandwiches. It's a quaint little deli, with a couple of counter seats and some outdoor tables for eating. Bit of a mom and pop new york shop vibe, and the owners are very polite and friendly. I got the Italian submariner sandwich. Everything was pretty fresh and tasty, and there was plenty of mayo to keep the sandwich nice and moist. The bread was nice as well, soft with just a bit of a crust. Simple but executed well, with a price that won't break the bank.

This is a hole in the wall for one of the best sandwiches in DTLA. A classic spot. A huge menu. Nothing will disappoint! I recommend the club, it's simple but super fresh and delicious. Always my go to! Service is quick and easy too. My mouth is watering by just typing this review. Maybe I'll go tomorrow...

Great service, the place was a quiet when we came in. They had a great selection of sandwiches, drinks and chip options. There is some seating we opted to take it to go. The sandwiches were big and Absolutely Delicious! I would recommend mikes deli any time you're in LA its 5 minute drive the Broad.

The hot Wisconsin gentleman was fire! Chipotle mayo on it was amazing and spicy! I will get that again and again. The pastrami was really good as well. Fresh made sandwiches and from what I gathered they are always busy but the lady up front was quick and we got out sandwiches fairly quickly. I will go back when in DTLA.

I think out of all the places I've traveled to so far, my favorite would have to be Italy. During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

Easy. Fast. Satisfying…read more And...Mom approved! I didn't want to make dinner after a long day at work and then running my kid to an activity. It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.
