I would give this company 10 stars if I could. I got on the yelp and did the request a quote from moving companies. Of all of them Graceland was the first to respond. I think the guys name is Curtis that does the responding. He would get right back to me every time I had a question like right away. Other companies finally responded but took them quite a while to get back to me. And time was of the essence. I needed a mover quickly. And needed to schedule it right away. They were so great about getting me all set up on the day I needed. And they were here right on time. They also gave me a 30 minute heads up. When they arrived, they introduced themselves. It was Donald and Eddie. Both guys were the nicest guys and so helpful. Now I am a little OCD when it comes to my stuff. And we had just bought a brand new fridge, washer/dryer and brand new leather recliner couches so I am pretty on movers to make sure they handle with care. And boy did they ever handle with care! These guys were the best packers and so considerate of my belongings I just let them do their thing without me micro managing! I totally trusted them moving my things and even going into our home they handled everything with such great care like it was their own stuff. I know that this company only has like 5 reviews, but check out the reviews that yelp doesn't always put up there. I usually tend to go with places that have at least 50-100 reviews and companies that have been in business for a while, but I took a chance on them and let me tell you, they sure delivered on all they said they do. The guys are definitely not new to moving. Both Donald and Eddie have many years of experience moving people between them. Not a thing was scratched or dented. That is a huge accomplishment. Donald and Eddie also had to move a fridge and a big washer and dryer that was already in the home to the garage and they did that for me. And I know that washer and dryer were beasts too! Great job guys! They quoted me about 4 hours and about 15 min and they were 4 hours and 15 min. Talk about doing the job on time! Donald and Eddie you need big giant gold stars! Company was pretty quick to quote and be in touch. However, movers were rather slow & pieces of furniture & canvas pieces broken upon delivery. Movers also scratched up our door frame pretty bad in our newly built home. The bad thing was no one addressed it to us leaving it up to us finding out on our own after the job was completed. Used them for an interstate move (TX to NC). They were late leaving San Antonio for 2 days because they were unable to secure a truck for the move. Then, due to improper packing of the items in the truck they damaged a large mirror, brand new 75" TV and a $2600 mattress (ruined due to improper storage and handling). I got Best Buy to replace the TV and filed a claim with Graceland for the mattress. They indicated under TX law they had 90 days to respond to my claim. Of course, I heard nothing during the 90 days and called them at the end of that period to get a response. They offered $111 for settlement on the $2600 mattress (quoting TX law for value of move contents based on weight). I rejected the settlement and countered with an offer to settle for $1700 - the amount I had to spend out of pocket to replace the mattress that they ruined. They have not responded to my counter offer. I have filed complaints with both the TX Department of Transportation and the FMCSA. Bottom line is: Do NOT use this company for a move. The workers who actually move your items are hard workers and great guys, but the company is not reliable and they do not stand behind their work. read more

I scheduled my mover on Sept 18. Filled everything out and sent the deposit. They were supposed to come yesterday 09/30//2023. I called to follow up to make sure they were going to be here at the time and they didn't even have me on the schedule. They did find me and sent me to another mover that was going to make sure I got moved. I waited all day an no movers. I called and they kept saying they were on the way. They called and scheduled for today and I talked to Jason. He was all about communication. He was going to be here at 10 then noon. I called at 12:15 and he said he was on the way. That was almost 2 hours ago. I can't open my pod because the door is jammed or I could have had it done almost by myself. No one is answer the phone now and no texts are being returned. We were hesitant to pick movers but luckily Curtis reached out to us. He responded very quickly and scheduled us just as we requested. We had to reschedule our loading appointment and Curtis did so without no hesitation. Movers arrived earlier than our appointment time, which was fine. We rather have them arrive earlier than later. I showed them what needed to be loaded and they went straight to work. They know exactly what they are doing and how to make everything fit into our pod even though my husband had doubts that all our stuff wouldn't fit. The movers were respectful and professional. Movers took really long and dropped my furniture hard on the floor. I didn't even get mad at him or anything. He and the manager Curtis proceed to tell me they will take the cost out of his check and replace it. About a month later, Tommy ordered a replacement and when he came to personally deliver it he broke the replacement from screwing on the nobs too tight. He tells me he will return it and order a new one, I just tell him return it and just give me the money for it to make everything simpler. Then he goes ghost and him and Curtis avoid my calls and texts. I decide to go in person, frustrated from being ignored, but its a different company at the address. I have to constantly bother them to get a response and they tell me they'll give me the money next week and it comes around now its a different day.... Now its been 3 months and they are apparently out of business and Curtis offers me $30! So upset I do not recommend this company to anyone they will waste your time, give you the complete run-around, and ignore you hoping you stop bothering them. Honestly, you are better off renting a Uhaul and just having friends help you!! I learned my lesson. read more

After reaching out, Niyi was quick to respond with a quote and was flexible when we had to adjust dates at the last minute. He emailed a detailed quote and an inventory sheet and was upfront on rates and estimated time. His team followed up the day before the move with a text and email reminder, and manager Tommy called the morning of to let me know the arrival time. The moving crew was punctual, and right on arrival requested a walkthrough of our units so they could get started right away.
