Today, I'll drive the hour and a half to Houston/Katy rather than let this group of hacks anywhere near my cars. The "people" are gone, replaced by corporate directed "voiceboxes" posing as people. Everything is AI driven for profit, ignoring the human price extracted from the employees and customers. Human relationships are set aside, relying on misinformation instead of corporate responsibility. I went because I trusted the staff to care, I left because they don't anymore. I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. During one of my daily searches on Auto Trader a new listing popped up for Mark Weinstein Motors. It was a "unicorn" vehicle - rare in existence - an older model, incredibly low mileage, in fantastic shape (barely driven) and the listed price was in the KBB green price range (either good or great price for the vehicle's value). I reached out to Mark, who was quick to answer any and all my questions. I was in Houston and I couldn't make the trip to Austin to see the vehicle until the weekend, but he graciously agreed to hold the vehicle for me without any downpayment once I had set an appointment for a third party inspection. Despite receiving other inquiries about the vehicle, he held it for me for almost a week and even stayed a little late on Friday for my husband's and my arrival into town. The test drive and purchase process were smooth and straightforward. Mark explained everything thoroughly and even went the extra step of fixing the temporary paper license plate on top of an old metal plate to make it more secure. It's another example of Mark's great customer service. Like his great communication from start to finish - phone calls and text messages were always answered promptly. He is good-natured and honest, which is hard to find in the car shopping business. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

I always believed that this USED car lot was different, but I was completely WRONG. First... Just…read moreafter we signed all the papers, we took possession I noticed the tire pressure sensors went wild as soon I drove off the lot. So I took this traverse right back to the used car lot. I had asked them how do I reset the tire sensors? They started looking at everything and that they need to replace the tire sensors. So while I had the traverse in their shop they magically spotted a radiator leak! Wow how convenient! So I guess when they got this thing in they never saw any issues with radiator. So I truly believe that they never really do their due diligence and make sure there's no issues with anything. All they did was clean it and hurry up to sell it. I am kinda thankful that I got a warranty. But here is my other complaint. We'll this is true for most car lot's both new dealerships and used car's. So while we going through getting finance the salesman told us that the finance company requires us to get auto warranty. LIES! Later I talked to another employee they said they were trying to get us a better interest rate! ANOTHER LIE! I did talked to the finance company and they they do not require ANY car warranty! Reduced interest rate! What BS! This used car lot and others are just selling auto warranty is to make MONEY. This used car lot could have just replaced the radiator! But they wanted to make extra CASH! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!
