If I could give Grafik 100 stars, I absolutely would! Visiting from Washington State, where there is a coffee stand every 10 feet, Grafik easily beats every coffee shop I've ever been to. There's no comparison. It is the BEST coffee I've ever had! I ordered a Cortado (espresso cut with milk), and it was made to perfection. It was creamy - almost like drinking a dessert. The espresso was equal as good. Not a hint of bitterness. I also had a biscotti, which it too was the best I've ever tasted (I was told they're made right there on-site). I've been to a lot of coffee shops, and nothing compares to Grafik. I HIGHLY recommend it! I'll be back before I leave! read more

My parents live in the area and Grafik is the perfect little coffee shop for the neighborhood. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and friendly staff ! The coffee is very good although the chai is a bit sweet for me. However their iced tea is very good and refreshing. The one thing I'd say is that the line can be a bit slow especially because there's usually only one register running. But if you have the time and want to hang out in the adorably decorated coffee shop, it's definitely worth it. read more

Really nice staff ! We were visiting from out of town, and they were all really sweet with their drink recommendations, and offers to help us customize our drink . didn't try any of the pastries or foods, they looked really tasty. They had some cool artwork in and around the bathroom and lounge area. Also had really neat furniture and an old-school coffee grinder, which was a fun touch. The shop was clean, the coffee was OK. Okay coffee and tea, needs polish Once again, trekking around Rhode Island. Found a local coffee shop so decided to give them a try. Came in around 6 pm, place was open and had a guitar player. Good to see a coffee place still open that late at night. Opted for a berry hibiscus tea and cold brew coffee. Some staples to see how they treat their ingredients and drinks. Lady behind the counter was very nice and courteous. Helped me navigate the menu and pick my drinks. When I order basic coffee, I hope to see a few things. I hope for coffee ice cubes, I hope for light and fruity flavor notes, I hope for properly proportioned concentrate vs water ratios. The coffee was earthy and bitter on the back end of the pallet. The ice was small crescents, and the coffee was properly portioned. Means that they do care about coffee in some respects. But they do miss the finer details to make them a cut above the rest. the cold brew was either overseeped or was a very dark roast that was too fine ground for cold brew. It is hard to say which, but it missed in execution. The berry hibiscus tea was also overseeped and very tart. Needed sweet to tamper the tartness, which the barista was able to accommodate. It's not bad coffee, but it's lacking refinement to be great coffee. I did spy some of their food options, and it looked pretty reasonable in quality. I suspect as a drink spot they are okay, but they need to focus on the details and make sure their drinks are really good to help draw in the crowds. read more

We love Grafik Coffee! Portuguese breakfast sandwiches, delicious coffee and matcha, baked goods, and a cozy place to sit and chat with a friend. There is also a lovely outdoor patio when the weather is suitable. The baristas are always cheerful and helpful. FANTASTIC coffee, wow!!!! A real gem. Stopped here on our way into Newport and had the loveliest experience. The service was great, the interior/ambience was great, and the drinks were amazing!!! I got the blueberry pancake latte and WOW, definitely one of the best lattes I've ever had. Literally tastes like a blueberry pancake (and honestly maybe even a little bit better). First time visit, even though it's five minutes away from my house. Met a friend for coffee on a random Wednesday morning. Parking OK but the empty spots were few. We ordered coffee only, nothing to eat. Ordering and payment easy. There was one empty table which we were able to claim. There was a steady stream of takeout customers, plus those staying. I had been wanting to check out this business for quite some time now. Today was the day. My hubs had a latte and I had a chai latte. I love the interior. Very fun vibe with lots of seating options. And when the warmer days return I noticed there is also outdoor seating. They have a gorgeous red, work of art, coffee roaster. The pastries looked decadent so I will return to try one out sometime. Honestly, this place is absolutely beautiful. The sitting area is very comfy, and there's an adorable little section for kids to play while waiting for you to get your food. The coffee is delicious and strong! I came in for a bagel sandwich, and it did not disappoint. They also have sandwiches on the Portuguese bolo, which made me very happy! It's a place I can't visit too often, just because it's out of my price range. But trust that I would be here every day if I could! Definitely worth the drive if you're not from the area. read more

Cute coffee shop with a good amount of seating and even family friendly with a small kids nook to allow littles to play. Don't get too ambitious- the kids area is maybe big enough for three kids, but for sure more than any other coffee shop! My vanilla latte was delicious! The coffee had amazing flavor! My son had the hot chocolate- which I sneaked a couple sips of- and it was yum too! Topped off with whipped cream- mwah! He ordered a croissant sandwich and it looked good- but I didn't have any. I came on opening day with my husband, and there were a lot of opening day pains, including incredibly long waits. I knew I had to give them another shot after a few days before reviewing. I came a few days later during the week around 11 am. I noted it was much quieter than the weekend and even saw a few people working. It definitely seems like a great place to catch up with a friend, or work remotely. Service was ok, I actually found it friendlier on opening day. But maybe it's just been a long week. My drink took a bit longer than Starbucks or Dunkin would, but that comes with the quality of the beverages. My iced latte and frothed milk on top which is an extra added touch, and really shows the quality. I also appreciate how they are highlighting local artists and their artwork, not only on display, but also featured on some of their own roast bags. Did I mention they roast their own beans? They also encourage families to come and spend time, featuring a play area. They have a variety of seating options inside and also have outdoor seating set up for warmer weather. I'm looking forward to more visits in the future, and hope to update to 5 stars as they grow and flourish! read more

Just recently started working in the area and decided to check this place out for a ice coffee. Nice little spot with a lot of options and the coffee was fantastic!! Well worth the money. This place is cute. VERY CUTE! The vibe is chill and the pastries / food look awesome. I did not try them, but they look freaking fantastic. Still, this is a coffee shop. I was stoked to have a new one on the island so I came over to try. There are several causes for concern. WARNING: I am a HUGE coffee SNOB! If you are a fan of flavored drinks or sugary lattes this place may be fine for you. And it is very cute. First issue is their bags mention tasting notes for each roast but not the bean processing method. When I asked the cashier she had no idea what I was talking about. When I ordered a macchiato they knew enough to ask me if it was a traditional one or something different. It pains me that you have to ask, but Starbucks has ruined the world and this is a good sign that she asked! The coffee on the other hand was just bad. Tasted incredibly bitter. I watched the barista pull the shot so I'm thinking is the bean not the shop. Still, would pass on this if you are a real snob for espresso. read more

We came for the first time for lunch today and ate outside on the spacious patio. We had the Renoir and the Dali and shared. Delicious!! The ingredients are fresh and flavorful and the bread is wonderful...the multi grain rich and nutty and the baguette exactly how a baguette should be...crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The coffee, which Josh roasts daily on premises, is excellent. The staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and the vibe is very cool. We love that they support and showcase local artists by featuring their work right on their coffee bags! Yes, today was our first day here, but definitely will not be the last! We made the trip down to Grafik and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered a house-made blueberry muffin, a breakfast sandwich, fruit smoothie, oat milk latter, and an americano. The sandwich was easily one of the best I've had in years - the egg and sausage were cooked perfectly and the aioli tied it all together. The muffin was baked beautifully, all of the blueberries nicely distributed throughout. The coffee is small batch roasted in-house and was the highlight of the morning. Our drinks, including the smoothie, were very good. The owners are doing a fantastic job - we'll be back! read more
