Really nice staff ! We were visiting from out of town, and they were all really sweet with their drink recommendations, and offers to help us customize our drink . didn't try any of the pastries or foods, they looked really tasty. They had some cool artwork in and around the bathroom and lounge area. Also had really neat furniture and an old-school coffee grinder, which was a fun touch. The shop was clean, the coffee was OK. I got a decaf short bread Raspberry latte for reference.

The staff was friendly and the environment was really nice. J was excited to hear there were so many house made flavors. However, unfortunately my drink was really not good tasting at all. I didn't taste either flavor and threw it all away after trying it.

I always love finding a great new coffee place and this was definitely in that category. Decorated with local art and a gorgeous patio. Staff was friendly and all food and beverage came out quickly. We had avocado toast and shared a coconut chocolate chip scone. And my honey nut latte was outstanding. Would definitely go back!!

4 Words-Raspberry Shortbread Cold Brew-Ive tried over 60 coffees this month-no lie- and this was the best one Ive had. The cold brew was so smooth. They also have beer, wine and dessert martinis! Lots of seating both inside and out. Baked goods looked so good. Lot parking. Absolutely loved it here.

We're always looking for new coffee shops to try out so after reading some of their reviews at the beginning of the year, we had to check this one out. It's now one of our go-to coffee shops when we're home visiting and on the island. Love trying their seasonal drink specials. I'm always scoping out something new to try. Friendly staff. And overall good at atmosphere.

Okay coffee and tea, needs polish Once again, trekking around Rhode Island. Found a local coffee shop so decided to give them a try. Came in around 6 pm, place was open and had a guitar player. Good to see a coffee place still open that late at night. Opted for a berry hibiscus tea and cold brew coffee. Some staples to see how they treat their ingredients and drinks. Lady behind the counter was very nice and courteous. Helped me navigate the menu and pick my drinks. When I order basic coffee, I hope to see a few things. I hope for coffee ice cubes, I hope for light and fruity flavor notes, I hope for properly proportioned concentrate vs water ratios. The coffee was earthy and bitter on the back end of the pallet. The ice was small crescents, and the coffee was properly portioned. Means that they do care about coffee in some respects. But they do miss the finer details to make them a cut above the rest. the cold brew was either overseeped or was a very dark roast that was too fine ground for cold brew. It is hard to say which, but it missed in execution. The berry hibiscus tea was also overseeped and very tart. Needed sweet to tamper the tartness, which the barista was able to accommodate. It's not bad coffee, but it's lacking refinement to be great coffee. I did spy some of their food options, and it looked pretty reasonable in quality. I suspect as a drink spot they are okay, but they need to focus on the details and make sure their drinks are really good to help draw in the crowds.

We love a bolo (Portuguese bread) breakfast sandwich!

We love Grafik Coffee! Portuguese breakfast sandwiches, delicious coffee and matcha, baked goods, and a cozy place to sit and chat with a friend. There is also a lovely outdoor patio when the weather is suitable. The baristas are always cheerful and helpful. I hope they soon take my suggestion on serving some brownies sans espresso for those of us who want a regular ol' delicious, fudge-y brownie!

Welcoming and warm space, top notch friendly service and very good cafe drinks and food! Came here twice for breakfast and lunch, they served great breakfast sandwiches on bolo rolls with arugula and honey aioli, nice and hot. Also had the Dali for lunch and the sandwich had the perfect ratio of roasted mushrooms to caramelized onions, gruyere, and chimichurri on some lovely multi grain bread. Coffee and matcha drinks were smooth and high quality. Space for families with small children.

I had been wanting to check out this business for quite some time now. Today was the day. My hubs had a latte and I had a chai latte. I love the interior. Very fun vibe with lots of seating options. And when the warmer days return I noticed there is also outdoor seating. They have a gorgeous red, work of art, coffee roaster. The pastries looked decadent so I will return to try one out sometime. I must sadly say the chai was just ok. A bit bland. Next time I'll peruse the menu and give something else a gander. I love chai and really wanted to like it.

So glad I stopped here! They have amazing in door and outdoor seating areas. Outside, theres lots of wooden tables and plenty of choice between sun or shade. I got a bagel with lox and an iced late. The bagel was the perfect ratio of everything: cream cheese, fish, capers, YUM!

    Linda A.

Honestly, this place is absolutely beautiful. The sitting area is very comfy, and there's an adorable little section for kids to play while waiting for you to get your food. The coffee is delicious and strong! I came in for a bagel sandwich, and it did not disappoint. They also have sandwiches on the Portuguese bolo, which made me very happy! It's a place I can't visit too often, just because it's out of my price range. But trust that I would be here every day if I could! Definitely worth the drive if you're not from the area.

When you have kid appointments and some time to kill beforehand, what do you do? You have a mother son date for breakfast! We stopped here for coffee this morning to check out the new digs! Cute coffee shop with a good amount of seating and even family friendly with a small kids nook to allow littles to play. Don't get too ambitious- the kids area is maybe big enough for three kids, but for sure more than any other coffee shop! My vanilla latte was delicious! The coffee had amazing flavor! My son had the hot chocolate- which I sneaked a couple sips of- and it was yum too! Topped off with whipped cream- mwah! He ordered a croissant sandwich and it looked good- but I didn't have any. There was a wide array of seating outside with the picnic benches- groups would be better outside once it's not snowy and cold I will be back- and definitely in the spring with a group

The ingredients were actually cooked together and well seasoned making for a cohesive dish rather than one of those bowls that just dumps separate ingredients into a bowl that lacks flavor. The honey lavender scone was also great - nice texture - almost biscuit like tbh, and the lavender flavor was a little too subtle for me to really taste, but I still enjoyed it. It is rare…read morefor a modern business to bring glamour to a timeless community without making the establishment feel overdressed. In a region defined by salt air, stone walls, and inherited understatement, Groundswell gives the landscape a beautiful new chapter. I have been coming to this part of Rhode Island and Massachusetts for close to four decades, and its magic has always been its refusal to perform. Little Compton, Tiverton, and Westport have an old New England intelligence: practical, coastal, and allergic to excess. The mood is L.L.Bean utility, Patagonia values, and Helly Hansen competence, with a little yacht club literacy and none of the theater. Groundswell respects that world, then adds candlelight, espresso, and French mischief. There is practical brilliance in having a venue this chic nearby, because city slickers inevitably visit, and family members must sometimes be kept happy even when their taste tests our patience. The cafe is the heart of the experience for me. The building was previously The Provender, which we loved, and Groundswell deepened our fondness for that chapter rather than simply replacing what came before it. There is a French ease to the venue, patio, and food, as though someone raised between Paris and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat came to New England, fell hard for its privacy, then built the dream cafe they wished existed. It has continental polish, but the soul is still Rhode Island. Even when the cafe is busy, it works beautifully. The line moves through the building in an intuitive U-shaped flow, showing that someone thought carefully about summer traffic while preserving intimacy. The food comes quickly, but not instantly, and that distinction matters; do not come here in a rush. I am hazy on the full menu, but the yogurt parfait, cinnamon toast, and Caesar salad have stayed with me, and I am pretty sure someone in my family had a turkey and pesto sandwich that looked exactly right. The pace is deliberate, and the point is to savor the coffee, the patio, and people-watching. The pricing feels appropriate, especially for a seasonal business with only a few intense months to make the year work. Nothing feels careless here, which is rare for an experience built so carefully around atmosphere. That sense of intention is what makes it feel polished without becoming stiff. I deeply respect seeing David on site in early July. He is the designer, owner, and operator I recognize as the face of the business, though I am sure many talented people are involved. He is warm, kind, and hands-on, with experience and wisdom evident in a subtle, understated way. He embodies Groundswell's soul and upholds the brand standard in person without making it feel rigid. The broader Groundswell property also makes the whole experience feel original. The shops and garden spaces are intensely charming, with a level of discernment that makes you slow down and look harder. The home goods, gardening pieces, and table settings are so tasteful that I always leave thinking I would be thrilled to have David and his team design my home. I can imagine that eye in the city or near the beach, and just as easily in a country house or alpine retreat. What Groundswell brings to this community is the perfect amount of change. This region is timeless, but every timeless community benefits from careful progress when sprinkled with respect, proportion, and self-awareness. I have not yet been to David's Bristol restaurant, The Franklin, but after seeing the pride he pours into Groundswell, I want to go soon. I do not know the full Groundswell Design Group portfolio, but I suspect this Tiverton project is a crown jewel: something he loves deeply, almost like a child, and the culmination of decades of work, research, and self-criticism; it gives this community French flair, northeastern discernment, and a welcome venue to gather: Très bien!

Tt has everything you'd want from a great coffee shop: comfortable seating, plenty of room to spread out and work, a rentable conference room, and something you would not expect from a coffee shop, the Aurora Bar, stocked with a nice selection of local spirits and other favorites. My partner and I stopped in for a quick nibble for lunch on Sunday and this was perfect. My partner went with the Caprese sandwich, which is served on a pressed ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, pesto mayo, and balsamic. It was simple and tasty, and I was lucky enough to get a couple bites! I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was also simple, but packed with flavor. It had all the obvious ingredients with the addition of pickles, which added such a nice briny little punch and really hit the spot. Something worth noting: both of our items were ordered from the laminated menu at the register, not in the beautiful leather-bound Aurora Bar menu, which appears to be an evening menu with cocktails and other tasty food items. For drinks, I went with an espresso tonic; the slight bitterness of the quinine plays really nicely against the bold espresso, and it's one of those combinations that's refreshing in a way that's hard to explain until you try it. One small note for the team: the Riverside location has always had a real warmth and cohesion to the staff that I haven't quite felt at Bristol. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, but a little more energy behind the counter would go a long way. Still a five-star spot, as the coffee and the space more than make up for it.
