Usually this place is great. However, our visit on 6/27/25 was a huge disappointment. Let me say that Karen the bartender was excellent but we both ordered the fried flounder basket and it was extremely dry and tasteless. The onion rings, which are usually delicious, were way overcooked. Our meal was served around 5pm and there were many orders coming out of the kitchen so food turnover wasn't an issue. Tonight was just a big disappointment. Not typical of the usual great food from this restaurant. Based on several great meals at Graham's Landing, we will try again. We have been coming to Grahams since last summer. The staff has been very friendly and the back deck offers a great view. My Bride enjoys the Fried Shrimp Platter and the Ribeye. I move around the menu and really enjoy it all. I had the large combination platter on our last trip and it was all good. I could not finish all the food. Graham's is a dog-friendly place and there are several outdoor tables. During this Covid mess, they have added tables to the lower area of the parking lot. Enjoy! read more

I knew this was my kind of seafood joint when I saw the roll of paper towels on the table. Friendly (but not overly attentive...hate that..) staff. And the food. Wow. I had crab stuffed flounder. First time I had that dish where there was way more crab than flounder. Yum. My wife had crab cakes and grits cake, The crab was seasoned just right (I got a taste) and the grits cake was something we'd never had before. Bits of bacon and other goodies in a fried cake of grits. I could have made a meal of just that, The wife did great picking that side. I had the fries, which were good and crispy on the outside yet moist inside, but the grits cake was special. Off the beaten tourist stretch, but not so far as you have to really go out of your way. This is a very good stop for a meal. The staff here are very friendly and our waitress took great care of us. My Philly Cheesesteak wasn't up to par however. The steak was sliced thin but gristly. It wasn't easy to pickup and eat. Others at our table had wonderful meals. read more

Well have heard great things for the past three days about this place from 10 different people so was looking forward to a great Sunday dinner tonight .I already knew about the seafood combo and the prime rib so I was ready ;ordered the fried green tomatoes for a starter and they looked beautiful when served but the only smell I got was burnt toast .they were a little on the darker side of golden but obviously the oil in the fryer had broken and burned .Our bartender Joe came out and confessed it was the fryer and there wasn't anything the kitchen could do about it tonight as they had a long busy day .so with all fried food off the menu I was not happy as it will be next year before I get back this way but shame on the kitchen as I saw many more fried dinners coming out of the kitchen after that read more

I know the food down in this area is probably limited as it is a small beach town so we tried this place. The fried pickles were SO SALTY. Nothing could mask that taste. We were looking for a late lunch/early dinner/happy hour spot that was dog friendly. We chose Grahams due to its proximity to Huntington Beach. Dogs are welcome on the back deck. It's a covered deck so away from the hot sun. They have multiple fans to keep things tolerable. The hostess that sat us mentioned that she was new and in training, but came off as a seasoned pro. The service was good. Attentive, but not breathing down your neck. She gave a couple of good menu and drink suggestions. She mentioned HH was on .50 off wine and beer. Not much of a HH but, it is what it is. We ordered a calamari appetizer which was fried perfectly. A light breaded coating. I ordered the fried shrimp and blacked scallop combo. My wife offered a dinner special. That with two drinks came out to a little over $90. Not horrendous, but not sure about the value. I'll be honest though, the main issue was the flies on the deck. I'm okay with a few flies, but this was over the top. They were tolerable before the food came out, but once the food was out... It was on. No amount of swatting, lemon juice spraying could save us. At one point I had three just chilling on my hand while I ate. Unfortunately we had to eat quicker than we liked so we couldn't enjoy everything they had to offer.
