My favorite place for a bite that's not seafood! The grilled pork chop is amazing, and the grit cakes are unbeatable!!

I know the food down in this area is probably limited as it is a small beach town so we tried this place. The fried pickles were SO SALTY. Nothing could mask that taste. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch of pickles and it was over salted. The crab cake was dry and not like the supple crab cake you'd expect. I was hesitant to go out to eat while at the beach due to the pandemic, but this place (as well as a few others around) have made me feel much more comfortable! All of the staff wears masks. Hand sanitizer is available and the restaurant seemed very clean. The food was GREAT! I had seared flounder and fried shrimp.. DELICIOUS! I also had the she-crab soup as an appetizer. We were looking for a late lunch/early dinner/happy hour spot that was dog friendly. We chose Grahams due to its proximity to Huntington Beach. Dogs are welcome on the back deck. It's a covered deck so away from the hot sun. They have multiple fans to keep things tolerable. The hostess that sat us mentioned that she was new and in training, but came off as a seasoned pro. The service was good. Attentive, but not breathing down your neck. She gave a couple of good menu and drink suggestions. She mentioned HH was on .50 off wine and beer. Not much of a HH but, it is what it is. We ordered a calamari appetizer which was fried perfectly. A light breaded coating. I ordered the fried shrimp and blacked scallop combo. My wife offered a dinner special. That with two drinks came out to a little over $90. Not horrendous, but not sure about the value. I'll be honest though, the main issue was the flies on the deck. I'm okay with a few flies, but this was over the top. They were tolerable before the food came out, but once the food was out... It was on. No amount of swatting, lemon juice spraying could save us. At one point I had three just chilling on my hand while I ate. Unfortunately we had to eat quicker than we liked so we couldn't enjoy everything they had to offer. Really, really excellent! We ate there twice. Great menu...a must is the Grambo Stew, absolutely wonderful! The oysters on half shell were just the right size, plump and tasty. We have been here before and we liked it. This time was a little different. Our initial greeting was lackluster at beat. We were seated outside as it was a beautiful day. Our waitress was cheerful and efficient. Hubby had the blackened shrimp wrap with fries and I had the salmon with twice baked potato. The shrimp was great and the salmon was good. Although they have many beers, it's not a place to get any craft beer. Overall, it's ok. They could be better if they took more pride in greeting customers and cleanliness. read more

Writing this at 4 am from the bathroom...just like I knew I would be one second after biting into a grilled oyster from Grahams this afternoon. I actually did a double take to make sure there wasnt blue cheese on the oyster instead of parmesean...thats how odiferous this oyster was, but in the worst possible way. No blue cheese though :/ Our angel of a server returned them to the kitchen and removed it from the bill. Ever an optomist, I thought maybe that was just an unlucky batch but looking at the filthy windows, being harrassed by the juicy flies inside, watching a kitchen staffer go to the rest room wearing his apron, I knew there would be no redemption today :( Fish tacos were inedible...so greasy (even though they were grilled and not fried), burger tasted old, fried platter was also unpleasant and salty. This is a great little place with a beautiful view of the marsh. My husband had the crab cakes which were delicious and I had the rack of ribs. Perfectly cooked and very meaty! To Start we arrive to no one at the hostess stand, after at least 5 min as we are greeted - she says "Do you want to come in?" We cautiously say yes? "Huge Mistake" We are seated - then Sit there at least 20 min before someone cleaning the table next to us says Have you been served? The whole reason we came here was for the oysters and as we ordered them she says "We don't have an oysters" - ok fine. So we order fish tacos and shrimp. The salad comes out in a tiny cat food size plastic bowl and the fish tacos come out in a 3yo toddler style plate. As we are eating someone stops us and says can I take some of your plates?? They all had food on them and we are eating?? Do yourself a favor- Just Don't! -oh and it cost $70 and I had to wait for the check and ask multiple people for the check... I've given this restaurant multiple chances, but I will not be returning. The place is completely unorganized and unclean. On more than one occasion, I've seen kitchen staff walk in and out of the bathroom with their aprons on--something that should never happen and incredibly concerning for hygiene. To top it off, I've actually found hair in my food before so they probably don't wear hairnets either. Almost drove past it. Decided what the heck I'll try it. The staff were really friendly and seated me quickly. I started with the little neck clams. Holy tastebuds they were good. They're prepared in a garlic Parmesan seasoning and it's great. Got the fried shrimp basket to finish up and it was excellent. Not a lot of breading on the shrimp which was perfect. Great service, great atmosphere, good food. I ordered the chargrilled oysters, as I always do when they are available, and the shrimp. Karen, the bartender was witty, attentive, and made a pretty tasty Gimlet. Met some regulars while I was there and they were just as welcoming and friendly. It was my birthday and everyone made my day lovely. Highly recommend and will definitely make this a must stop when I'm back in town. read more

Absolute best meal we've had in Muriel's Inlet. Very good she crab soup, superb local shrimp boil (great shrimp well seasoned), and good fried baskets. This place is a regular for us when we're at the beach and we've never been disappointed. This was our first post Covid visit, and they warned us at the hostess station that they had a wait and were short staffed. That being said, I was extremely impressed with the service and short wait times. We only waited about 30 min for a table and the food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Our waitress was fantastic and personable and did not act rushed at all. She recommended the fried cheese bites for the kids, and they all loved the in house made appetizer. The seared tuna app was as good as I'd remembered. The oysters were fresh. My trigger fish special was fantastic. We'll be back next year as always. read more

Not in Charleston however, this is the best she-crab soup around MYB that I've had. Also, the shrimp and grits are great. So great that we've been twice and going back on our way out. Well, I was excited to eat here again after 6 years. We had stopped there just before going to Brookgreen Gardens for the Christmas lights ( which is awesome and a must see). Anyway, the service was not great. I like to give some people the benefit of doubt, but whatever the case, service was poor that night. I ordered oysters Rockefeller, they came out burned and overcooked. The taste wasn't impressive either. I also ordered a small wedge salad, which was ok. I always stop in Murrell's Inlet when in town and usually eat somewhere on the row of restaurants on the water. This time I tried Graham's and they did not let me down. I got a seafood platter and it was to die for. You can get it any way you like, so I did half fried and half grilled. They don't have the scenery that Nance's, for instance, has but there is still some nice inlet area to look at from the porch. You won't be disappointed. read more

Very cute restaurant with a nice outdoor patio as well. The grilled ham and cheese....wow. Very very sizable sandwich for the price which also came with a generous portion of fries. I expected thinly sliced deli ham but was very pleasantly surprised by thick, flavorful, perfectly cooked slices of ham and the perfect amount of cheese. The only thing that could be improved would be more honey mustard as it was a little light. Food for 6 people also came out very quick. Would come back! read more

It was sadly disappointing...recommended by the tour guide gentleman at Atalya. Went at 2, so after lunch but not dinner. While not terrible, I feel like it was sitting under a warmer ...flounder and oysters...onion rings super greasy. Doing keto, so didn't eat the cocktail sauce, but it was congealed to the point of having to be mixed up, at first I thought it was frozen. Coleslaw tasted like it was a day or so old.
