Solid little brunch spot - little pricey for the crabs Benedict, but it still twas very delicious 3.85 for a coffee is a little nuts to me however Cheers!

Went here before a show at Irving plaza for a quick bite. And it sure was quick! They must do an amazing job prepping for service in the back of house because I think we only waited 5 or 10 minutes for our food after we ordered. My meal was cooked perfectly. Fries were seasoned well. The fish for the tacos was cooked beautifully. My only complaint is that the tacos needed a little kick to them, but that's a personal preference. They truly tasted delicious and would recommend them to anyone. It's a very small restaurant, waitstaff was great. Don't recommend for large parties but it's really easy to grab a table for two. I would definitely go back.

Two weeks in row had classic eggs Benedict. Both times they were great. Hollandaise could used dash lemon. Eggs poached perfectly. Nice muffin. Substantial slices of ham. Delish hash browns. Speedy service w/smiles. Height of brunch time real noisy tho. Pricey coffee.

Love to see who really enjoy what they do!! Congrats Katherine, amazing job and service. Very welcoming staff. Food is really good. Steak and eggs, well cooked. Not the best cut. Fresh coffee, asked continuously for if i want extra. Will definitely come back again.

We came about 1:15pm on a Saturday and were seated by 2:00pm. It's a small place so wouldn't recommend for a group larger than 4 people to get in quicker. The staff is good about getting people in and out. The breakfast burrito was yummy but I also prefer beans in mine. Homes fries were delish as well! Will definitely be back to try the waffle.

100% would go back ! such a cute little place to visit, inside seating & outside, which, the outside seating was covered with nice patio & all to block you from the sun. the worker who served us was very kind & patient, & answered & served well under all the accommodations & questions i had, which helped my anxiety. as for the food: AMAZING ! everything was very fresh :) part of a meal did get messed up - misunderstanding on bread - but besides that, the fries were delicious, the cappuccino was sweet smelling (not so much of a fan though of warm drinks sadly), my partner said the burger was nice & filling, & my fried eggs with arugula, goat cheese, & jam on rye bread was PERFECT ! would love to go back on our next trip !

This is such a great spot for brunch. The food reminds me of high quality diner food, which is super nostalgic for me. I got the banana Nutella French toast and it was some of the best French toast I've had in the city. The service was great and it wasn't too packed for a Sunday morning.

High 3.5 Solid spot for food with good pricing. It's a really good place is you want breakfast at night, granted we didn't get any breakfast items. We got the onion ring as the appetizer but it was fried for a bit too long and the critique is that it was not served with any dipping sauce. My brother got the turkey club and it was under seasoned but the fries was amazing good and crispy! My chicken sandwich was really delicious with all the added item inside, although it made it hard to eat because it was so thick. The interior was nicely decorate with Christmas decorations; however, we were seated by the window and it was starting to get a little chilly the longer we sat there. The service was a bit slow despite not being overly busy. With that being said, I would still come back because I felt that the chicken sandwich was really good!

    Gramercy Kitchen Receipt 6/7/25

Diner is nice as far as diners go. I do not frequent diners but took my mom who is in her 90s here as she wanted eggs and it's in the neighborhood. Geez, looking at my receipt afterwards and notice her eggs and iced tea cost $30 plus addt'l tax and tip. Even my mom who can't hear complained to me it was too loud. Diner was extremely loud and a tight space due to it being very busy. I took my mom to the ladies room and they had cleaned off our table even though we were not done.

I really enjoyed Gramercy Kitchen. It was our last stop on our last day in the city. It should have been our first. Prices were reasonable compared to everything else that we had that weekend. The service was great. Our server was very nice and very attentive. I ordered a Mexican omelette. My wife ordered a crab cake benedict. Our son had a stack of pancakes. I enjoyed my food. I asked if they had chorizo for the omelette but was told No. The server recommended having the sausage. It paired well. My only suggestion would be to consider seeking a food distributor that can provide Chorizo. Have the cooking staff play around with the recipe and you have a new dish that can be a little more authentic. Other than that, I wish we had found this place sooner. They had a nice menu with plenty of options. The place itself was very welcoming, full of nice decor and and positive quotes. As always, check it out for yourself and form your own opinion.

Came in today and got their chicken waffles. It was pretty good! I loved the place, and the staff were really nice and the music was great. It would definitely get 5 stars if only the avocados they got on my dish were ripe. Would definitely come back again!

Make It Deluxe??? I didn't even get a pickle or cole slaw cup with my order.
    Stacey G.

I'm sorry I have to write this, but I'm still pretty outraged by GK's billing policy. Living in the neighborhood, this place has been terrific for a quick meal and delivery services, especially during the pandemic. The food's been quite good. And it still is. But after a lunch last there last week, I could not believe how the prices have increased! And even more so, what they are charging for. I ordered a BLT with waffle fries on the side and I was charged a whopping $18.45 for it. Take a look at the receipt and you'll see some kind of mystery charge cutely coined as, "Make It Deluxe" priced at $5.25. Huh??? There was not even a pickle slice, tomato or lettuce leaf on that plate to constitute deluxe status. It was merely a little sandwich and my fries. When I asked 2 different staff folks about this charge - in addition to the charge for the fries - they couldn't explain what it was for, nor did they even offer to take it off my bill. Despite their expansion and additional seating (thank you, Covid tent) they have the nerve to rip people off like this. I think I may be done with this place.

Came in for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. We were seated quickly. Very nice welcoming staff. We had the eggs Benedict, pancakes, and a yogurt parfait. All were good. The yogurt parfait was one of the best we've had. The fruit was really fresh and it had a nice drizzle of honey. The eggs Benedict weren't the best I've had but they were good enough. Breakfast potatoes were also really good. Service was quick and friendly. The place itself is bright with lots of windows. Definitely recommend.

I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.

My wife ordered the half corned beef sandwich with a bowl of French onion soup, so we got to sample a bite of each of those as well.
