    O'Re Pizza
    Molly B.

I don't think anything could've hit harder on this rainy Sunday. Due to the fact that I did a pick-up order, I can't really speak to service. However, after popping in to get my order I noticed the place was lively and the restaurant was beautiful! I had a truffle craving so decided to go with the O'Re pizza and spaghetti carbonara. The pizza had black truffle pate and prosciutto while the carbonara was typical except for the burrata cream and black truffle pearls on top. The pizza was SPECTACULAR. The crust was perfectly airy and charred. In terms of toppings, everything was well balanced. The truffle flavor was STRONG in the best way ever. I was scared the salty prosciutto combined with it would be overkill but everything came together beautifully. The pasta was creamy and also well balanced. I really enjoyed dipping the bread they included in the leftover sauce. My only complaint was that there could've been a little more guanciale, not every bite had it which made some bites a bit plain. I am most definitely coming back here!

never disappoints! I keep coming back! New menu item added here - the Carbonara with truffle. Really delicious. not a classic Carbonara but no complaints. not "too" truffley and very rich and creamy. Chittara is amazing every time (I wished I got a little more cheese though)! Service is good, perfect wine recommendations. The vibe was quiet and lowkey on a Tuesday night.

Ordered delivery caciocavallo pizza, and was pretty good! The tomato was perfectly juicy, the meat was flavorful, and the dough was chewy as I wanted. I'd say this is close-to-original Neapolitan pizza. Both in terms of appearance and flavor.

    monkfish pasta, margarita pizza

The patio is pleasant, except that we got distracted by a report of other diners spotting a rat running around outside. We didn't see it ourselves, so we can't verify the report. However, it spooked us enough to skip ordering dessert. My monkfish pasta was bland. It might have benefited from the addition of grated cheese, but none was offered. The dressing on the salad with grapes was a little acidic for my taste, but hubby liked it. He also liked his margarita pizza. Our friends liked their fish, so I would try the salmon or swordfish if I came again. The service was not attentive.

It was 10/10 amazing! - calamari: 10/10 so good probably the best Ive ever had - burrata: 8/10 what I would expect at a good restaurant but not as impressive as other dishes - cod: 10/10 so good I didn't know cod could be this good - seafood pasta: 10/10 super good and fresh - tiramisu: 9/10 probably the best non-alcoholic tiramisu I've had

Worst service I experienced in a long time. Don't forget 20% tip is already included. Food was poor American Italian.

We shared the arancini and some bread to lap up that sauce - those were absolutely delicious! My husband and I then shared a pizza, which I shamefully forgot to photograph, and the carbonara (which was fun to mix in my own egg). Overall, it was a good and service was quick. I enjoyed the vibes and could see this being a great happy hour spot for locals.

The old space felt warm, charming, and welcoming, and the food was consistently great. Since the move, we've tried giving the new location a fair chance and have visited three times. Unfortunately, the overall experience just hasn't been the same. The atmosphere feels much more corporate and lacks the warmth and character that made the original location special. Several menu items have changed, prices have increased significantly, and the food hasn't been as memorable as it once was. The biggest disappointment has been the service. During our most recent visit on a Friday night while my sister was in town, the service was noticeably poor. It felt like our server was simply going through the motions and didn't want to be there. Everyone has off days, but when you're paying premium prices for a night out, you expect at least a friendly and attentive experience. We typically enjoy supporting restaurants and are happy to tip generously when the service reflects the experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations. After several attempts to give the new location a chance, we've decided this will likely be our last visit. It's disappointing because we genuinely loved Posto for many years and had hoped the new location would capture some of what made the original so special.

I'm from the east coast but now live out west, so I'm always craving truly good Italian food. This place was the real deal! The prosciutto de Parma, the bucatini and the pistachio gelato were all fantastic! You must get all 3! :) I actually left genuinely sad because I knew I wouldn't be able to come back again during the rest of my trip! Reservations are very booked up, and you can only get them two weeks in advance. I honestly don't even want to eat anywhere else on this trip... it was that good! And the ambiance and staff were so delightful too! Reservations only open two weeks in advance so grab one while you can!

I enjoyed the food, but I feel like their dessert menu could be a bit more built out. Food: - Pappardelle: I loved the wild boar and truffles in this. The sauce was so well seasoned, and the noodles were al dente! It was a bit hard to share just because the pappardelle noodles are so long but this shouldn't stop anyone from ordering it - Seafood linguine: this was a daily special addition to their pastas. I liked the flavor of the prawns and the texture of the fresh squid, but I didn't love the tomato sauce on this. It felt like it was lacking something, maybe a bit of spice or extra dimension. I still liked the pasta overall but given that I had to remove the entire shells of the prawns mid meal, I would have hoped that the entire dish had a more elevated sauce to go with it

Parking is limited to about (6) 1 hour spots a block ahead of and in front of the door. Same posters, same menu. Prices have creeped up, but the portions are worth it and, as a parent of two now, quite shareable (unless you are the 2008 version of me). You may eat in, but unfortunately, alcohol is not provided here and you can't BYOB. And so, take out is a popular choice. Now for the real question. What does Shaina order at this venue after a decade? My personal favorite: Puttanesca with homemade fusilli. Why? Because despite living in a region of Greater Boston where Italian restaurants are fruitful, people don't serve Puttanesca! Literally can't find it in the four Italian restaurants near my south shore home. Only other place that I can order this same dish is Vinny's at Night in Somerville. Folks love their fra diavolo, but Puttanesca gives that same heat with the bonus of salty kalamata, capers, and a touch of anchovies melted in. And, guess what? Tasted the same as it had 13 years ago. Amazing! Don't get me wrong, they have many more offerings that I've been dying to try. There's pizza, garlic bread with and without cheese, mini arancini; they have sandwiches, too. They even have four (or maybe it was 5) options for risotto. And for proteins, there is calamari, shrimp, chicken, beef, and sausages. I just can't stop ordering this puttanesca dish and it fills me too much to have room for a variety order.
