Man, this place was alright. Bartender was a kinda poop brain. So she's there and I'm there and I had to speak hella loud and was like "just a splash of milk" and she gave me a pour def not a splash! Pssssshhh. You idiots are probably like what's this asshole talking about, fronting and ordering some drink with milk in it at a bowling alley? It was a White Russian! Haaazaaahh player! The drink was all right but the company I was with sucked. This girl I was with legit has never seen "The Big Lebowski" wtf? Smh. Our experience here Thursday afternoon was our first and it was definitely worthy of 5 stars! A brunette man with glasses helped us Thursday at the counter get set up. He was very, very polite and fun to talk to. It was our first time here and he didn't rush us, didn't make us feel stupid for not really knowing how to get set up. He set up everything correctly. It was my husband, myself and our 4 year old son and we thought it was pretty cool that the bumpers came up automatically when it was our 4 year old's turn! The guy even brought us out a ramp for our 4 year old to use during his turn without us even asking. (We didn't know they had them anyway). It was an A+++ experience. It's a pretty nice bowling ally. The arcade was also very nice. And everything was clean. We didn't try any food or drinks. We were so pleased, we decided to come back with our oldest son yesterday (Saturday). Saturday was much busier, but they still had about 8 lanes available by the time we arrived. A different man helped us this time (light hair, older guy, long fingernails...). This guy was a jerk. Yes it was busier, but it was not busy enough to treat us the way he did. He was very RUSHY, even though there was no one in line ahead of or in front of us. He hurried me though shoe sizes, threw those on the counter, hurried me through spelling our entire names (even though only the first letter of each name appears up on the board), we asked for bumpers on the 4 year old's turn again and that seemed to be an inconvenience to him, asked for a ramp and that also seemed to be an inconvenience. We got over to our lane to start to bowl, my turn was first, then my 4 year old's turn and no bumpers pop up..... I let him take his turn anyway while my husband went to go tell the guy again we needed the bumpers on. Then my older son went. By the next go around the bumpers still hadn't come on during my younger son's turn. Both of our son's names start with the letter B, and "B's" were all that was up on the board for both kids. Needless to say, the bumpers finally came on, for the wrong kid's turn! So they ended up having to switch spots in the rotation 1/4 through the game and our score was messed up the entire rest of the game. We also never got the ramp until 1/4 through the game. I know the guy saw me up there looking for one too, and decided to ignore me. Our first experience was 5 stars, minus 2 stars for our second experience. If the man who helped us the second time is the counter person next time, we will seriously just leave. What a jerk. read more

The more I come here, the more I like this place. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is fun. I brought my daughter here on a Thursday afternoon to redeem her free game of bowling that she won as part of the summer reading program put on by the local library. The fact that they partner up with the library for these types of "rewards" for their community is great! On this particular day & time, it wasn't busy, we got to play right away, and the gentleman who checked us in was super nice and friendly to my ever so shy 5yr old. We finished our game and headed to the arcade, where you could spend hours in itself! There are plenty of games that keep you busy, and they reward you with "ticket" amounts, but they are loaded on the game card. You can then take the game card to the prize booth and choose a prize based on how many "tickets" you have won. We'll be back here soon for more fun! read more

Granada Bowl is a reasonably nice place owned and ran by a$$holes. They are lazy, incompetent people for the most part, that just want to talk with each other as opposed to actually doing their job. The mechanic during tournaments and leagues is usually in the bar, and it can take 10 minutes to clear a ball jam. For serious bowlers, the place it a joke. Cosmic bowling all day long, no scratch leagues, with the only redeeming feature of a decent pro shop. For casual bowlers, it still sucks. Lousy selection of rental balls, old shoes, and desk people with a chip on their shoulder. Go to Dublin or to Cloverleaf in fremont. This place is horrible. read more

I usually don't post bad reviews but this happened today and it really upset me!! I have been taking my daycare kids here for years. We have always had so much fun. Since the remodel the food is expensive and if your over a certain height you can't have bumpers . I had two girls the same age but one was taller so she couldn't have bumpers. So she bowled gutter balls the whole game while the shorter one bowled a high score. Being taller does not make you a better bowler. One girl goes home with a smile. Other one goes home feeling incompetent and unhappy. Stupid rule !!spent $65.00 here today!!! read more

They increased their pricing and cut the time in half from one of the most value bowling things. From when it used to be 10 and 3 hours to 13 to just an hour and a half. Even if it was 15 dollars and the full time it would be fine, but I don't see myself coming in as much anymore. read more

After bowling here for 15 years, the ownership changed and the new owner is only interested in serving high school and college kids with cosmic bowling. So for the serious bowler, there is not much to offer, not even a scratch league. But, the Pro shop owner is outstanding and the lanes are new.For the league bowler, the bowl is not well run, and you have to contend with kids running around. If you are a college kid or a high school kid looking for something to do, this is your place. read more

Went here with the family today, but had one of the worst experiences ever. The staff there was rude and not helpful. First, they told us it would be $40 for two games plus shoes for the four of us. I asked him twice, because it seemed like it should be more for 2 games, and he said you can do $40 for two games or $40 for an hour of play. I told him I want 2 games (I specifically said two games, not $40 nor 1 hour), and he charged me $40. Then, half-way through the second game, I went to ask for help because all the balls were getting stuck at he end of he lane and not being returned. The guy said he would fix it and had someone go back to return the balls, but then he also shut down the lane. When I went to ask why the lane was shut down, he said your 1 hour is up. I told him I had paid for 2 games, but he just said - No you paid for 1 hour, but if you want to finish out the game, I can charge you more to let you finish the game. I told him that we should at least get some extra time for the time he had shit down the lane to retrieve the balls, but he would let do that either. Separately, when I had asked him to put up the guard rails for my younger kid who is not very experienced with bowling, he flat out refused and said your kids are too tall. As a result, my little princess ended up crying because all she got was gutter balls because the staff didn't want to put up the guard rails. I don't understand how my kids' height has anything to do with having to put up the guard rails. I'm paying to play and came to have a good time with my family - not to deal with the rude staff here. I'm never going back here and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Bowling is fun! This place has great cheap nights too. The weekends tend to be jammed with teens and pre-teens who I find quite annoying so avoid Friday and Saturday late night bowl, unless you fall into one of those categories, then go, enjoy! Mid week after specials make it a cheap outing with the friends, they play music, cheap beer in the bar, pool tables in the bar, the lanes are in pretty good condition, and facilities are clean. It's just an overall good time but in these economic conditions, more importantly, it can entertain a group or family relatively inexpensive. read more

I took my daughter and her boyfriend (15 yr. olds) here one morning. I liked that there was a student discount so I thought it would be a kid-friendly place. Instead, I get a text from my daughter that one of the workers is harassing them and making them feel unwelcome. They were going to spend more time there but I decided it was better to pick them up. I will take them over to Dublin next time. As for the atmosphere itself, if you are looking for a place with that seedy, old, other-side-of-the-tracks feel, this is your place. The lanes are in good shape, but the house equipment is old and tired. Quite frankly, the whole place needs a face lift and attitude adjustment. The fellas and I go here a couple times a month to put back a couple pitchers, bowl a few. Sure, the decor could use an upgrade, the lanes need to be re-finished. The Pro Shop could definitely use a good cleaning and 3x of 4x more inventory. With all that being said. There is much to love. While the employees may lack speed and sense of urgency, they are really friendly and eager to help. The snack bar, with its unimaginative menu, actually produces some really tasty burgers, chicken tenders and french fries. The bar is my favorite: Pitchers of cold beer, two pool tables, dart boards, and Karaoke. What's not to love? Also connected... A poker room. In case you have money burning a hole in your pocket, they spread 3-6 & 4-8 Hold'Em, or 4-8 Omaha. Now they offer Three Card Poker, Pai Gow and Buster Bonus Blackjack... Guaranteed to suck you dry. Trust me. Best to stay away from this room altogether. I'm positive they staff only Coolers. In the end, despite it's shortcomings, Granada Bowl gets 4 Stars from me because the fact is: I ALWAYS have a great time here. GENE's Pro Shop... (ONE STAR)... The small pro shop inside Granada Bowl is a different story. Despite a reputation for being a very good ball fitter, you'd never know since he is rarely at the shop during posted hours, which are different depending on whether you're looking at the website or shop sign. Trying to schedule a time to get a ball fitting is difficult too, because he doesn't answer the phone and doesn't return potential customer's phone calls. While his drilling prices are as per usual, his ball prices are extremely high. So I'd love to give a local business a chance at my business but he's just failed time and time again. Sorry, I'll drive to another pro shop if I ever need bowling ball services in the future. read more

Without spending a ridick amount of money on bowling, and going to your regular bowling alley, this place has got to be one of the best in the area. With Wednesday nights, $10, all you can bowl from 9 pm-12 am, you are set! Bring more people and you can also snag two lanes. What I love about this bowling alley is that it modern, the lanes are clean (there is enough grease for movement too), the alley is clean, and they are blasting top 40 hits and some old school joints....now how can that not get you pumped up for a friendly, family competition?! For those that are inclined, there is also a bar, a few arcade games, and a snack area. Great place! read more

Threw a birthday party here for my son's 8th birthday, we liked it because it was affordable and had some good offers. The staff were quick and helpful and laid out a nice table for the kids, with some festive decorations, balloons and all. The kids had a great time, can't go wrong with pizza, cake and bowling! Not to mention the arcade! The place is clean. Spacious, was able to easily keep an eye on the kids. Maybe I'l have to throw my own birthday party here! read more

I've been going here for years. A lot of nice upgrades in recent years. The scoring machines are in need of replacement. Many do not work properly. Traditional bowling alley by day transforms to a darkened light show with music videos by evening. It's a fun atmosphere and nice change from a traditional late night bowling alley. read more

Have not been here for years, what a change. "The zone" is a cool place to bowl with really nice benches, big screen tvs, party lighting etc...there is now a full service bar and they serve good food. I was surprised how good the pizza was. read more

This is such a bad place. They are really not nice and very rude. They don't want to open the bumpers for kids if certain height, must kids are little but tall, they refused to open it for them and it ended up the kids were crying all the time. I did not come here to upset my kids. My friend ordered a sandwich and they gave her a totally different stuff than she ordered and she had to ask for a refund. My other friend purchased an arcade card that didn't work. This is a bad experience that I don't think I will ever come back here again. read more

Granada Bowl is a fun place to take the kids. They are always offering specials so you hardly ever have to pay full price to bowl. This is a very clean bowling alley. They have a snack bar that is fairly decent, the food is good. I'm pretty impressed by this bowling alley. A large number are shady and not at all places I would take children. This is by far one of the better ones! The staff also is always super helpful and willing to be accommodating. read more

We really like this place. They have a nice game room, kind of chuck e cheesy like place, a little pricy with the games, but not too bad. The place is clean, staff helpful, food OK. They charge you by the hour, as oppose to mist place that are per game. For some reason the computer that controlled our game ended our hour too quickly, even though we extended our hour... it did kind of ruin our second round. We end up calling the night early due to that malfunction. read more
