First trip into the Garage just after lunch. Service was good. Food was not prepared according to menu. Ordered the Maui Burger they forgot the avocado. Burger was cooked properly. The TVs in the bar area are mounted VERY high watch an entire football game there and you will be reaching for the Bengay. Noticed 5 beers on tap and a wide selection of bottled. Spirit selection is adequate for a new bar. Parking may be an issue during peak times, since what was the parking lot has been curbed up. Overall it is ok! The Chile came out with about 1/4 cup, enough I asked to buy more. They saw my displeasure in how small the portion was, so they filled the next one with water Every bun on all three burgers weren't just soggy, they were wet? Very very disappointing meal all the way around. And the service was with a smile, but man they weren't happy that I wanted more Chile, which we payed for, and I don't eat because I asked for Chile not soup. No trust. After my first time eating here I would've given it 5 stars, but I've been back a few other times and service has been pretty slow. There are signs saying to excuse the wait as they are understaffed right now which I understand, but we were waiting with empty drinks for awhile. Do not mistake this for a bad review though. The food is FANTASTIC, the staff are kind, and it really isn't that expensive. Great location. Cute decor, great set up. Fun, delicious, unique food. In fact I'd give the food five stars. The hostess was very accommodating. We were placed at a table by the open garage windows on a chilly, wet evening. She graciously and quickly had a delightful gal clean a table for us in the back. Those two employees stellar, but..... the wait service totally ruined the experience. First, the audio is so loud in the small space that my husband and I could not even hear one another even without our masks on. So think of a wait person, let's say his name starts with a J, approaches with a mask and we cannot understand him due to the mask and the loud audio. It took a while for him to approach us and then it was, has anyone helped you? Duh... we are at your table, what do you think? Was what I wanted to reply. We ordered the Fish Tacos and hubby got the pork belly tacos ordered without onions. Of course the onions came with the order. Ugh! J never returned to check on us. He had advised how spicy everything was. When hubby was out of diet coke I finally had to ask the gal who was cleaning tables for another. She promptly brought it. Then I drank all my water so waited for a refill in order to finish my 2nd taco. That never happened as J was too busy chatting up a female staff member at the end of the bar, a foot apart with no mask. In the mean time a table next to us had to go hunt their server who happened to be the bartender to get their check. Interestingly she approached their table without a mask to pick up plates, deliver check and pick it up. Which is fine with me. All this to say there is no supervision of the staff. J finally brought the check and I expressed my predicament of inability to finish my dinner since no liquid and the spice. No apologies given. Cute place but we won't return until the wait staff is trained and supervised on service and attentiveness. Plus with winter approaching their dining room is very small, they depend on the patio so I wonder what they will do in cold weather. read more

Disappointing...and to start off, we know they're short staffed, and it had nothing to do with short staffing. Unfortunately despite a dozen or so trips per year to Grand Lake, we won't be back on a future drive through. Restaurant was dirty. Food on floor throughout. The men's room was disgusting...waste on top and bottom of toilet seat...dried up and had been there for some time. never saw a manager Our server was friendly, but did not know basic menu questions with any confidence. We are dairy and gluten free, and he didn't offer much confidence in our choices. We're ok with cross contamination in the frier etc, but we talked about it several times on specific menu choices. There were endless mistakes on the menu, (which the server acknowledged and later apologized profusely for) spelling and otherwise... And then the dishes come out... Zombie Burger: onion rings on top(gluten). We didn't specifically talk about, it but we mentioned GF many times back and forth, so perhaps all the talk about it they could have done some deductive reasoning and left it off? Melted cheese (dairy) is simply not listed as being on this dish on the menu, and it was there. Menu description was with pork belly, not a burger but it came as a burger and no pork belly at all. The server says the menu is apparently wrong when I told him that wasn't what I ordered. The side salad also had cheese on it (more dairy). I decided to suffer with the dairy and ate the dish rather than waiting another 4 minutes to order something new. Oh, and I didn't get my pickle, which IS on the menu, and I love, and couldn't ask him for since he never came back until we were done. The second dish was as ordered. Throughout the menu, cheddar is spelled both correctly and incorrectly (chedder), and in fact one item you can get both cheddar and chedder in the same dish! Our server never checked back until we were 95% done. While he was friendly and apologetic, no adjustment was done on bill...which I didn't ask for, but I got something I didn't order, and it also had both dairy and gluten which I specifically did not order. He also never cleared a single dish despite both being done, and bill left and returned with empty hands. We tipped well and departed. Someone really needs to train the staff better and also dot some i's and cross tome t's here...not a great experience unfortunately. read more

We tried this place after another in Granby basically told us they were too busy to serve us. The hostess was a witch. Barely spoke. We asked to sit inside, she takes off leaving us trailing behind as my husband has a hip injury, throws the menus down on literally the last table before stepping out the open large overhead door and walks past us going back up front. Because our table waste basically outside, the one side of the booth burned my leg when I sat down because the the sun had been beating down on it. We moved ourselves. I didn't expect the rest of the visit to be much better but I didn't want to drag my husband to yet another Granby restaurant just to be disappointed. I would say 2.5/5, nothing good or bad to say. Ordered take out from here during our week vacation and it hit the spot after a long day of hiking! We got a grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich and a crispy one. But on to the food, the steak we ordered was RAW, not rare but absolutely raw-edible once we asked for it to be actually cooked!! And all the food took about an hour even though the rice and chicken was cold (like it had been sitting out for ages) and of course the question remains, if you order a medium rare steak and receive a raw steak, why would that take roughly an hour?? Our first impression wasn't a good one. Very unfriendly host who refused to speak when she showed us our table. Our waiter didn't know anything about the menu or beer on tap. When we got our food the burgers were good but the chicken salad was funky. We tried to ask for something else and our waiter said they won't switch her food out for something different. He said we could order something else but had to pay for the salad because we had already touched it. It was a very unprofessional way to go about the situation. Went in over the weekend for lunch and the wait was about 30 mins, which wasn't bad. Able to get drinks while we waited. Once seated we ordered a combination of their tacos which were good. The place was clean but the person at the door seemed new because she didn't know simple questions about the menu. They were fast with my order but once it came out I was informed that my kids Mac and cheese was going to take another 30 minutes due to an issue in the kitchen. Thankfully the took that item off my bill. Once I got in the car to eat my BLT the bacon was practically raw....perfect for a pregnant person . Which could explain why it was so fast. The only good thing I ordered were the onion rings and tater tots, which were all I could eat. Next time I'm in town I will be sure to avoid this restaurant. Also the require the staff to wear masks due to COVID which is nice but one waitress kept pulling hers down to talk to people, then would put it back on and go grab clean silverware by the ends people eat off of with the same dirty hand she just put her mask back on with. Our waitress wa great the first time we went. The dronls were awful. I ordered the chicharones and they were so tuff I felt like I was going to bust a tooth. My husband said his wings were good. We tried it a swcond time but ended up canceling our order and going home instead because they seemed unprepared . We will probably try it again in the future to look for improvement read more

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Granby. The food is phenomenal. You can tell they are short handed, as a sign warns you of when you enter the restaurant. The first night, we realized our server was not a people person. No introduction or explanation of the menu. Almost seemed like we were a nuisance to him. Bare minimum service. Didn't stop us from coming back, however. The second night, our server was a nice guy, working hard. As long as you have time to wait, and you're a patient person, highly recommend this place based off of food, location, ambiance, cleanliness. Hands down my favorite place in Granby, Grand Lake, and Estes Park (maybe next to Bird and Jim). I hope they are able to find the help they need to continue to be successful.
