Our server came by our table and told us she couldn't remember which one was a Diet Coke and a regular. That was a first for me. This place has so many serving areas that it would be impossible to taste everything offered. It's my dad's last day in the US before he leaves to Thailand and I asked him what he wanted to eat for his last dinner here? He immediately said Grand Buffet. And I immediately agreed lol another incredible dinner. I've been there more than 20 times in my life and never had a bad experience. It takes time to learn the dishes you'll like. You won't like all of them. I tried the stuffed mushrooms for the first and I'm not a fan, I tried the breaded clams for the first time and learned that I love them. The entrance to the restaurant was very messy, debris laying all over the place. The food items were kind of mixed like a typical Chinese restaurant. The sesame chicken had a terrible fish taste to it. The yellow rice had no real flavor at all. The buffet area has so much steam coming out. You have to be extremely careful not to burn yourself. Meats there are slimy. The cook uses utensils that he shares with raw meats. Most of the foods do not look fresh. The price for the buffet is too high for the food they serve. Crab legs were on the buffet but there were never any in the pan. The clam chowder had a good taste but lacked any substance. You'll save a lot of $$$ and welcome to eat as much as you want. I'm not big on buffets but, the Grand Buffet in East Naples in the Big Lots plaza just west of the courthouse on 41 has some amazing crab legs for under $20.00 on the weekend. I've eaten at many places that cost upwards of $27.00- $35.00 per lb and it's ridiculous! The place is not fancy by any stretch of the imagination but they are hard working people putting out good food at an affordable price. My other top item here is the spare ribs which are super tasty and delicious! I've tried everything here and have pretty much narrowed it down to 4 things. If I truly had to tell you what I felt about the restaurant, I would say I thought I was at Atlantic City, New Jersey hotel Buffay, that's $1.99 just to bring people in, I just had a giant cafeteria feel with no ambience. If the egg drop soup was good, the wings were not very tasty and all the other food items were OK, they were edible, but not delicious. After paying for our food the waitress demanded a bigger tip even though her service lacked. The only time we saw her was when she brought our drinks and when she brought the check. No refill after we asked or anything (note: place was not busy). People deserve tips when they provide decent service, you shouldn't be demanding it and making a scene. If you're dying for a tip, do the job you signed up for(at least the minimum with a good attitude). We left a tip as her attitude was annoying and honestly we just didn't want to deal with her. I would honestly tell you to look for another buffet that is more clean and offers better tasting food. I had an extra long morning and worked passed 1:00PM to find that people were still having lunch. It was good to see that the hot dishes were hot and deserts and fruits were cool. The sushi was fresh and tasty. Mom, who really isn't crazy about any exotic cuisine found a nice selection of offerings in her comfort zone.......except for the kimchi. Great, cheap Chinese buffet. On weekdays, it's about $8 for lunch! There is a huge selection of food and they added a sushi bar about a year ago which just expanded said selection. Everything from salads to pizza to dumplings. Consistent in what it offers and its quality but there's so much it's no problem going back again and again (which my family has done for years). You get what you pay for so don't expect anything other than a $10 all-you-can-eat buffet. Agree with other yelpers- very clean and attentive staff even when full.
