My food was hot and fresh, and had good flavor. Do I think it was the best Chinese food? No. But I'm hard to please as far as Chinese food goes. But I thought it was pretty good and I would order it again. I did like the egg rolls and the Crab Rangoon. I did order the orange chicken with fried rice and chicken chow mein with fried rice. Good price for the quality of food. The wings were plain so you may want to sauce them up. And when u say plain I mean flavorless but cook well. Nice and tender. The place is very clean including the bathroom and customer service is excellent. The wanton soup was great, no one really makes the wonton soup like this is this area. We stopped here for a quick and economical lunch on the way to the nearby Rev's Institute. Located in the River Reach Plaza, China One ended up exceeding my expectations. There are a few tables out front and a few more inside. The restaurant was impeccably clean which gave me high hopes for lunch. You order at the counter and you can grab drinks out of the cooler. They bring the food out to you when it is ready. We were going out to eat for dinner later so we didn't want a heavy lunch. We ended up splitting a combination order of chicken and broccoli and added on an extra eggroll. I am glad we decided to share because the portion we were given was huge. We were presented with a mound of fried rice and a large amount of tender chicken and crisp vegetables in a flavorful sauce. It was more than enough for two hungry people. The menu includes all of the appetizer, soup, entrees, combination plates, noodles and rice, chef specials. and sides you would expect to find at a quick service Chinese restaurant. The food was ready quick, the place looked really clean. I'm here from out of town and my kids love dumplings. The food wasn't bad but wasn't anything amazing. I personally wasn't a fan of the wonton soup. This one had carrots and cabbage. It didn't have the light salty broth taste that i usually like. And the wontons weren't it for me. When ordering via the website, Grubhub is their delivery method. My 1st (and only) order was left outside, on the ground for 45 minutes before I saw it. Granted, I received a refund, but twice now orders were delivered to me by mistake and both times left outside on the ground. China One did respond to me by email, but took no responsibility, placing all blame on Grubhub. Obviously no changes have been made to this disgusting, unsanitary practice. We ordered bourbon chicken and it was the worst meal This place needs to look at a recipe book the bourbon chicken contained only almost uncooked chicken chunks no sauce no veggies The other dinner we ordered general tso spicy chicken again awful. We ended up throwing the meals in the garbage for fear we would get sick We spent almost 30.00 for this meal what a waste of money. The wonton soup, is the only thing she wanted. She made a face like I was taking off my socks. I tasted it and it was just awful. Strange flavor. No roasted pork in the broth. Just Shredded bok choy and carrots. The wontons were mealy and lacking flavor. The chicken lo mein was the worst I have eaten in my entire life. The chicken was just blah and the only hope was the snap peas. It just had an earthy taste that lacked smoke and oils. Beyond that. I swear, I never waste food. This is a first. Happened to me twice now. They passed the phone around and I had to keep repeating my order which was basically vegetable lo mein with Szechuan sauce.
