I finally got to try their biscuit sandwiches and they are worth all the hype. My boyfriend got the lox special biscuit sandwich and I built my own and added bacon, both were incredible. The biscuit was the perfect amount of buttery and they give you a good amount of the addition toppings for purchase. We also got an iced vanilla latte that was delicious since they have house made syrups. Also the staff was so kind and made sure to answer any questions I had. It's a small shop but they are efficient and everything comes out in a timely manner. I can't wait to try more of their pastries. read more

I am always in search of a delicious breakfast sandwich and Kahnfections was really great. Overall, they make a lot of stuff and it all sounded delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich with the bacon, cheddar, and scallion biscuit, garlic aioli, bacon, and i think they all come with scrambled eggs. The whole thing held together surprisingly well and was excellent. You can actually taste the green onion and the aioli is quite garlic-y which is necessary since there is a lot of richness. Scrambled eggs were soft and quite buttery. Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked. Biscuit was delicious and very tender though I didn't taste the bacon in it. It's very well made and everything went together well. I really enjoyed it though it is a lot of richness and similar textures. I would say it was one of the more tasty and enjoyable breakfast sandwiches in SF I've had. This combination will be $14.75 so not cheap but everything seemed to be good quality and cooked nicely. They have tons of pastries, muffins, croissants, a few salads, breads, cakes, and other treats. I tried a mini ube rasberry cupcake from the cold case and while the ube was tasty, a cold cupcake it just off in terms of texture for me. The pleasant surprise was the dirty chai I ordered. I rarely order chai but it's usually super sweet and does not taste like tea or the spices it should have. Not the case here. It had no sweetness (I think) and was just spiced tea, oat milk, and espresso. I liked it but if you are expecting the usual sugary sweet thing, you will want to add sugar. I do think some of the prices are on the high side while others seem average or even low for San Francisco. Parking is tough but if you do find some, there is outdoor parklet seating. 4.5 stars and rounded up largely because of the biscuit sandwich. Stopped by on my way home from errands late morning and upon entry no greeting or acknowledgment. I know what this sounds like but hear me out. There's a handful of bakeries in the area, to keep an establishment open in these tough times means you got a product that sells or the clients truly believe in your business. From what I saw it wasn't busy and a person whom looked like they were the person in charge at the time did little to make the 5 seconds feel welcoming. Listen, I don't even fw biscuits like that, but THIS PLACE?! Yeah...they completely changed my mind. I ordered the breakfast biscuit sandwich with ham, cheddar, egg, and garlic aioli. Unfortunately, it came out with a hair on top. I brought it back to the cashier, and they immediately apologized, offered a full refund, and remade my sandwich without hesitation. Mistakes happen, but they handled it exactly how they should. Inside, it's a pretty small shop with baked goods displayed in a case and a register up front. Seating is outside and fairly limited. I could definitely see it getting packed on weekends, but I came on a Wednesday morning and had no problem finding a table. The line moves fast and the food is worth the wait in my opinion. You order at the counter, pay at the cashier and then they will call out your name of the order at the pick up window. Buttermilk biscuit, cheddar cheese and garlic aioli sandwich - insanely delicious, buttery layers of biscuit, soft delicate scrambled eggs and the garlic sauce is buttery and very garlic forward. The biscuit itself is one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It is on the heavier side meant to be indulged every once in a while. I can only imaginr how good this would be over some gravy. The restroom is available for use, just ask an employee and they will announce when you walk through the bakery for safety measures. The downside of rain was that the outside tables and chairs were all wet, but we were lucky and got a standing table inside after another couple left. A very solid biscuit sandwich experience! I visited on a weekend morning, and it was extremely busy. However, shoutout to the fast and friendly cashiers and employees who kept the line moving! The store had such a fun, loud environment, with lots of people laughing and chatting with friends. We had a bit of difficulty finding seating outside, but after a while, a spot opened up. It's truly the Goldilocks of the mouth - because it's never too much or too little - it's always just right when it comes to the balance of all the ingredients creating a mouth watering flavor with every bite. The staff is so lovely and you can tell they are so passionate about their work and take immense pride being part of the team. I really enjoyed the build your own options but do be careful of all the little premium options because it could make your biscuit sammy kind of expensive. I went with the basic biscuit which was so buttery and perfectly flaky. I went with the lemon aioli and immediately upon opening the foil, there was a huge whiff of lemon and that was so enticing! It was creamy, lemony, and rich! The scrambled eggs inside were also buttery soft and perfect! The one little fault was in my protein. I had opted for bacon as my protein and while I appreciated the thick cut pieces, I will say it wasn't quite crisp enough to shatter which I thought was necessary for this sandwich because I personally couldn't bite through my piece so I ended up pulling out half the strip on one bite leaving none on one half - oops!
