They offer a variety of baked goods including mini cupcakes, macarons, breads and more. They are known for their breakfast biscuit sandwiches which is what I went for. They start at $11.50 and up. They also have daily specials on Wednesday - kimchi, Thursday - tri tip and Fridays - karaage. I got the cheddar bacon scallion biscuit with lemon aioli, cheddar cheese and avocado. The sandwich were ooey gooey and tasty! They also sell the biscuits by themselves for $4.50-$5.50. They have a couple of counter seatings and plenty of outdoor seating. The wait for my biscuit sandwich was about 12 minutes. It was a bit salty from the bacon. The omelette was thick. The biscuit had a crispy shell and a soft, pillowy center. Loved it. Friendly staffs.

    Biscuit Sandwich with ham

Listen, I don't even fw biscuits like that, but THIS PLACE?! Yeah...they completely changed my mind. I ordered the breakfast biscuit sandwich with ham, cheddar, egg, and garlic aioli. Unfortunately, it came out with a hair on top. I brought it back to the cashier, and they immediately apologized, offered a full refund, and remade my sandwich without hesitation. Mistakes happen, but they handled it exactly how they should. Inside, it's a pretty small shop with baked goods displayed in a case and a register up front. Seating is outside and fairly limited. I could definitely see it getting packed on weekends, but I came on a Wednesday morning and had no problem finding a table. The biscuit was thick, buttery, and surprisingly light--not dense or dry at all. The egg tasted like an actual freshly cooked egg, not that liquid carton BS. Everything hit. I threw that sandwich back so fast I seriously considered ordering a second. Can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the City.

All the pastries are delicious. The biscuit sandwiches are especially savory and flaky. Very friendly folks who work here. Their outdoor seating is a great place to enjoy breakfast and people watch.

Grabbed a few biscuit sandwiches and the biscuits are so flaky, buttery, and moist. The sandwiches are generously filled and my favorite was the lox special- it was savory and fresh. A definite treat and it is comforting.

This charming bakery offers a variety of baked goods and I had to try their cream cheese and fruit danish! The pastry was flaky and had a great flavor- sweet and a slight tartness from the fruit made this absolutely delicious. There's plenty of outdoor seating and service is friendly!

Bam! My go-to breakfast spot in SF for the days I need to head down to my Peninsula office. Easy on-freeway access for post-pick up. The feed is fresh cooked right in front of you. And they have fresh squeezed juices. I go with the breakfast biscuit with eggs, cheese and bacon. I'm hungry days I order two!

Now that I've discovered these hot buttery biscuits I'm in trouble. They are just fantastic and addictive. There's a great variety of pastries available as well

Popping into Kahnfections to try the popular biscuit sandwich turned out to be a little bit of a let down. Service was great, but if you want anything more than egg and cheese in the sandwich quickly racks up the price. I added ham (2 pieces) and avocado and on a non standard biscuit which brought it up to around $17 pre tax and tip. While the biscuit was indeed very nice, the taste of the whole thing is indeed just how any breakfast sandwich would taste, and unfortunately left more to be desired for me with the associated price tag.

Food was excellent, the biscuit on the breakfast sandwich was great. Added bacon and avocado which are always worth it. Cold brew was cold brew. Cinnamon roll was nice and gooey. Portions were a little small. Service is quick and there's only outdoor seating in a park let so good for a sunny Sunday morning.

Dill Swiss Scallion Biscuit in my reusable container

I decided to try this place out because I was in the area. The item that I was most curious about, and thus purchased, was the Dill Swiss Scallion Biscuit. I was happy they put it in my clean reusable to-go container, so I could reduce waste! When I tried the biscuit, I was pleasantly surprised by how hearty and moist it was, though it still had the slight dryness that typically accompanies biscuits. I would gladly get this again for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I come back, I'd like to try out their cupcakes.

I've been ordering their Biscuit Sandwichs consistently from DoorDash, and lemme tell you these biscuits are NOT DRY, perfectly baked and buttery. The staff is so sweet executing consistent quality breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches. Special thanks to the staff for being so kind and giving me this delicious blueberry danish, phenomenal. Highly recommend 20/10

I created my own biscuit! It tastes exactly how I imagined. There was luckily not a long like when I got there around 11am on a Saturday. Their pastries were perfect amount of sweetness . I got the fruit croissant . And the matcha was also good! I added 2 pumps of vanilla

Came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon; it was raining so not that many people here. The downside of rain was that the outside tables and chairs were all wet, but we were lucky and got a standing table inside after another couple left. They have an excellent selection of so many yummy pastries - and for great prices. But I think they really shine with the breakfast sandwiches. It's such a great price, so delicious, and fills you up! It's customizable but I don't think you can go wrong with any mix of options. The biscuits are delightfully flaky and buttery, and egg fits in it perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone, and would love to come back to try other things on the menu whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

It's been a little over a year since my first time trying B&C, and things have definitely changed…read moresince then--in a good way! I definitely feel like the team implementing the 7:45AM start time to line up has helped a lot. Not only is it better for the neighbors, but it also makes the whole experience feel a lot less chaotic compared to showing up super early and scrambling to get in line. Everything feels much calmer and organized now. As for the pastries: To be honest, it really depends on what you like. I'm one that gravitates towards pretty much anything with meat and chocolate. Because of that, most of their savory/meaty and creamy pastries are always a must for me. They're super flaky, flavorful and decadent. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making everything as high quality as possible, especially since you can see them making everything from the window while waiting in line. All in all, I think there's been a lot of improvement over the past year with some trial and error. Their pastries have always been delicious and I personally think it's worth the wait. I recommend getting to the area closer to 7:45AM so you have a better chance of being towards the front of the line. If not, it's still better to come before opening, I just wouldn't recommend getting there right before they open. By then it's not guaranteed that you'll get everything you want since they do run out depending on how many people are there.

Their Hotplate drop every Tuesday at 12PM is literally a war zone, reminding me of trying to get VIP concert tickets on Ticketmaster. And sadly, I haven't been able to score another box since then but oh well, at least I won once lol. I came during my pickup window and there was already a line out the door, maybe 10-12 people. I've heard it can wrap around the block, so honestly this wasn't too bad. The bakery itself in this adorable white and pink building, with cute window details, and neon cake sign. Pre-orders can skip the line, so I went straight inside to collect my little box of victory. My small box came with four pastries: Twice Baked Bourbon Peaches & Cream, Cheesy Ratatouille, Mocha Graham Butterscotch Cruffin, and Strawberry Vanilla Bun. And I gotta be honest, I loved them ALL. The Bourbon Peaches & Cream was heavenly. The pastry was perfectly buttery and flaky, while the cream and filling were rich and smooth. Easily one of my favorites. I'm normally not a cheesy vegetable savory pastry person, but I had to try the Cheesy Ratatouille for the plot lol, and surprisingly it was delicious. The veggies were cooked just right and the combination of cheeses was phenomenal. Strawberry Vanilla Bun was a classic that couldn't go wrong, fresh strawberries, delicious cream, simple and so good. Sadly, I saved the Mocha Graham Butterscotch Cruffin for the next day and all that generous filling made it pretty soggy. It still tasted good, but the cruffin had lost that crispy, flaky texture. That's on me though, so I definitely need a redemption round in the future. Overall, Butter & Crumble is absolutely worth the hype AND the Tuesday 12PM battle. Hopefully one day I can win the war again because there are so many other pastries I still want to try!

We had the drinks right away and I enjoyed their honeycomb toffee latte ($8.25) while my husband ordered a flavored lemonade. The Honeycomb latte wasn't overly sweet and the honeycomb on top was a nice treat. The honeycomb itself was sweet and crunchy and you can either pick it out and eat it or stir it into your drink and let it melt. The lemonade my husband ordered was on the sweeter side, but was super refreshing for summer. If you like sweet you'll like this- if you prefer less sweet or tart it may not be for you. The pizza crust was thin and crispy - with just the right amount of chew - and tasted slightly of sourdough. Topping-wise, the mushrooms were abundant but not overpowering; however, I wish there had been other vegetables to balance out the flavor.
