$9.00 to dry clean a dress. Not sure what the market rate it is these day.

I needed two suede jackets with zippers shortened, and from the research I had done online, I knew it wouldn't be an easy job. The first alteration shop I visited immediately tried to discourage me from doing the alteration and suggested I buy new jackets instead. They repeatedly emphasized how difficult it would be to cut the zipper and work with suede. Then I went to Kim's, and the experience was completely different. I was welcomed with a positive, can-do attitude right away. She was confident about the work and even quoted me a lower price than the first shop. One week later, I picked up two perfectly fitted suede zipper jackets. The quality of the work is fantastic. I've already received several compliments on them, and I was especially impressed that the original zippers were preserved. they didn't alter the look of the jackets at all. I'm extremely happy with the results and will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately, today's experience completely changed my opinion of this business. When I came to pick up my clothes, I brought another garment that had a tiny loose thread. I politely asked if they could spare about a foot of matching thread so I could repair it myself. It was such a small favor that would have cost virtually nothing. The gentleman I spoke with refused and repeatedly told me to go buy it somewhere else, even after I explained that I had already looked but couldn't find the exact matching color. What disappointed me wasn't the thread--it was the lack of courtesy and consideration shown to a loyal customer. After almost 10 years of bringing my clothes here, I never expected such an unfriendly response to such a simple request. Great customer service isn't just about cleaning clothes--it's about treating people with kindness and making customers feel valued. A tiny act of goodwill could have left a lasting positive impression. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and unappreciated. After nearly a decade of being a loyal customer, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope this business realizes that customer loyalty is earned not only through the quality of the work, but also through kindness, respect, and genuine customer service.

Vogue Cleaners does a great job and they keep their word. I came to Luke with several blazer jackets that had been either ruined or improperly cleaned by Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff. There were two blazers where Green and Fresh put NEW stains on my jackets, and you can see they were clearly put there with their ironing press, because the press marks are in the exact same place on both jackets. Those jackets sadly were ruined, but there was a cream white blazer that looked grey and dingey after it was cleaned by Green and Fresh, and Luke told me he might be able to fix it. I had one other grey double breasted blazer that had stains that were NOT removed after Green and Fresh "cleaned" it, and Luke also said he'd work on removing those stains. For the cream white one, he told me if he couldn't fix it, he'd waive the charge. A week later I came to pick up my two blazers and lo and behold, the old stains on the grey double breasted blazer were gone! Imagine that, bringing your blazer to be dry cleaned and the stains actually getting removed. Vogue Cleaners successfully got the job done and removed the stains, when Green and Fresh could not. For the cream white blazer, there was still a subtle greyish tint to it, but honestly Luke made it so much better that it's at least wearable again. Because he wasn't able to get it back to its original state, he kept his word and waived the charge. I will be coming back to this shop because they take their work seriously and treat their customers fairly. I've been going to the same dry cleaners Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff for years and know the family there. As a result even though I frequently noticed subpar results, (e.g. I pay for the dry cleaning but all the original the stains on my items are still there), I just assumed the they had done their best but the stain was "too tough" to remove. I let it go on too long. I even started to question, what's the point of dry cleaning when it either makes the stains worse or my clothes look the same before and after cleaning. The answer is, Green and Fresh don't do the cleaning themselves and don't care if they damage your items. When I talked to the owner's son and asked him how often they replace or check their solvent, he told me he didn't know because he doesn't do the cleaning and brushed me off, even after their dirty solvent had turned my cream white blazer into a greyish white blazer. When I questioned why my blazers looked worse and were damaged from the cleaning process, he gaslighted me and acted as if they had nothing to do with it, like "not my problem." No apology, no offer to waive the cleaning fee or compensate me for the damaged items. It wasn't until I went home, angry and shocked at how I was treated, and then finally came to my senses and went back and demanded the refund because they had not only ruined two jackets but also improperly cleaned the other two, that he gave me the full refund. It was so disappointing, how the entire situation was handled. Fifteen years of trust and repeated business from me-- broken in 15 minutes. Luke, on the other hand, listened to my concerns, empathized with the situation, offered solutions, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I talked to him about the solvent, because he understands the dry cleaning process and manages the machines himself. That's what you need when you go to a dry cleaner. Knowledge, honesty, and a dedication to great customer service. Highly recommend Vogue Cleaners, and especially Luke.

I like to come here seasonally for bulky items like comforters and sleeping bags. I was grateful to have this place to come to when my washer needed repair. This is a clean, safe laundromat with plenty of parking and no on-site attendant, but several working cameras, free wifi, and a phone number posted on the wall that is very responsive! Once I left a message and to my surprise, received a callback from a real person in under 5 min! The other time the same very helpful person picked up immediately. Yes, the cameras work and are monitored -- the guy helping me knew which machine I was at before I told him. That made me feel safe, though this is a safe neighborhood generally. My credit card has been declined by several machines here, and I can't think of anywhere else my card has been declined. So I was reassured to see other people have had issues and it's not just me. I highly suggest bringing cash just in case. The washer/dryers take either credit cards or quarters, and any bill put in their change machine results in quarters only, no change in bills. So bring a variety of bills, and something to hold lots of quarters in! As of December 2025, the smallest washers are 2x and $4.75 for a cycle (despite the 2x, these seem pretty small to me, smaller than my washer at home, but maybe they can be filled more?). The largest washer is 8x for $12, so a bit of a discount for a BIG load. I think a load takes 25 min regardless of which washer. The 5x dryers are 25 cents per 5 min. Clothes and bedding come out of the washer much dryer than from my machine at home. Washing burns through MANY quarters, but drying is super cheap, and both are fast. I don't think there's anything not to like, except of course having to drag your stuff here and back. Oh, there's no place to sit, but there's lots of tables for folding, and big wheeled carts with a rod for your hangers. I haven't had a problem here they haven't been able to fix (quarters getting stuck in the feed -- they turned the machine on for me remotely :) ), and even the other customers are helpful your very first time using these machines. While I only come on occasion, it's always been clean, and there's always been parking and machines available. I have seen machines marked "out of order," but that reassures me someone's paying attention and customers aren't being routinely surprised by machines that need maintenance. Oh, and there IS a utility sink, just a small one tucked in the back corner, pretty easy to miss. At least, I missed it, bc I got detergent on my hands, failed to notice the sink, and went outside and poured my water bottle over my hands. So yeah -- it's opposite the change and laundry soap machines. Though for a restroom, you'll have to go to another shop -- I highly recommend Clifford's Chicken & Fish in the same strip, a lovely excuse to have their delicious food if you need one!

I ignored her because she works for the customers and not for us to wait for her to finish, I also have things to do. She typically mops around 3 hours before closing with bleach and assaulted me with the mop almost putting bleach on my 600$ all black sneakers. I could care less about the shoes but it's the principles of harassing customers about cleaning where machines are being used. Today as I write this she blocks me from getting my clothes that I placed into a machine before she even was at the store, and got mad at me for trying to access my clothes where she had mopped. Again I don't work for her so I will not wait 30 mins on top of waiting the 30 mins it's takes for me to wash the clothes. As I place a load of clothes into the dryer I go back to get a second bunch of clothes and she completely puts her food blocking me from getting my white clothes from the second machine I put my clothes in. She had a history of harassing other customers while machines are in use stating that she needs it to be clean for the next day but she's mopping during rush hours. For the owners of this store I suggest you fire this lady or have a serious conversation with her regarding her actions of harassment. I've been a loyal costumer at Dave's for about 3 years now and have never had a problem until now. I will not be coming back ever to this place !
