My last dry cleaners closed. This one is close by. I brought in one suit to be dry cleaned. The store smells of dry cleaning chemicals. I took home the suit and it smelled like dry cleaning chemicals but not super strong. The suit was pressed nicely. I took in two more suits. They came back clean and pressed. I just dropped off another suit, jacket, and 7 ties. Suits are $19 and ties are $4.50. Same employee helped me each time. Pick up has been about 3 working days and the three suits were ready on time. I believe they clean and press them on site. I didn't see any employees eating and the suit was bagged up ready to go for pick up when I arrived. I believe this will be my new go to dry cleaners. read more

I've been bringing my work clothes here to get dry cleaned, and needed a few small repairs last time. One of the garments is a jumpsuit with a stylistic hole in one of the shoulders, which I explained very clearly and asked them to leave the hole, but just secure the small rip at the edge of it. They sewed the entire hole shut anyway. My other dress still smells, almost like it wasn't washed at all. I'm disappointed because I come here regularly and their prices are very fair, but this experience makes me want to switch dry cleaners. read more

I spilled coffee on my favorite work skirt which was dry-clean only and white of course! I was nervous it wouldn't come out given what I found on google search, but these guys made it look good as new! (I did soak it in cold water asap which they said helped). Also dropped off a pair of work pants which was very neatly pressed. Price point at 7.50-7.95 per item was a bit too high for me though... but I'll definitely bring stuff back here if there's another stain emergency! read more

I needed a same day dry cleaner by my office. And found this location. Called and she was able to tell me if I come by 10am, she will have it for me around 4pm. I dropped it off before 10am. Place has tons of parking in front, large drop off front area when you walk in. Ticket has my name, phone number and promised time all printed. Total amount is also on there. She went thru the different options from laundered to dry clean and the prices so I am not surprised at the total. I called at 3pm to try my luck and it's done and ready to be picked up. Definitely same day service and earlier than promised. Price is a bit higher but I'm in Sunnyvale/ SANTA Clara area so everything is a bit pricer. read more

I brought my drapes for laundry. They were not stained or dirty, just needed to be laundered after a few years of hanging. I brought these to this store after my usual eco friendly laundry service was closed for the holiday weekend, since these guys had equally good reviews online, I was willing take my chances. The person who took the draped inspected them for stains rips etc, even consulted with one of the guys to make sure they can handle the fabric and that these were appropriate for laundering. Cautioned me about the possibility of shrinkage. I told them that I am aware and I have had same draped from a different room previously laundered and they have done fine( at Mountain View). The turn around time and price was reasonable. When I picked up the draped a few days ago and took them home, I saw bottom of one of the panel now had big water stain( there were no stains when I gave them), the seams were ripped at couple of places. When I called them about the problem, they asked me to bring it back, a lady took them and 3 days later when I went to pick them up, I was told, its NOT their problem to removed water stain and and any unraveled seam is NOT their obligation to fix it. They said I had agreed to such damage when I signed my receipt!! Since I had same draped from different room cleaned in Mountain View place( 6 months earlier) and they came out cleaner without rips, I know that they don't need to be falling apart. So, I had drapes fixed for additional cost at a tailor and took them back to my old cleaners in MV and water stain is gone. All those great reviews don't mean much, I should not been impatient and taken my drapes to my old cleaners the next week. Live and learn! read more

I recently used their service for the first time in April. I gave two new shirts for laundry/ironing Monday (4/20) morning. I was scheduled to get it Tuesday (4/21) afternoon after 3 pm but i got a call from work Tuesday morning that i needed to be at a conference and I had to wear those shirts. I called them early morning at 7 and they were able to accommodate my request of getting the shirts back before 9 am and did not compromise on the quality. I used to love coming here because they were attentive, considerate, customer and detail oriented, and did a great job. Even had my wedding dress cleaned here. Unfortunately, in the last few weeks or so, there has been a change in ownership and it's just not the same at all. My clothes came back with certain stains that they did not seem to previously mark or pay close attention to. I was the one that noticed they were still there. Christine, the old owner, would inspect each piece in front of me and discuss options for each stain. She really cared about doing good work. That was not the impression I got this time... like night and day. It didn't help that their credit card machine was broken with no clear sense of when it would be fixed. When you're in the heart of Silicon Valley, where hardly anyone carries cash, that's just not acceptable. Rather than give me an incentive or some other discount for the inconvenience, they simply basically said "it is what it is." As I looked at the hand-written cash only sign, couldn't help but feel this would be the last time I'd come here. You gotta develop trust with customers, and I'm not feeling it here. read more

New Leaf is an eco friendly dry cleaners with both incredible staff and services. The clothes and bedding that I have had cleaned/pressed looked wonderful. Most importantly, Christine truly has the customer's best interest in mind. She advised me to purchase a new comforter (which was old & I didn't realize falling apart :) because it was time for a replacement comforter rather than spending money on dry cleaning. She took time out of her schedule to show me in detail how my comforter was breaking down and even gave me tips on where to purchase a new one for a good price despite knowing that she wasn't going to make that sale. She also shared my value of finding a place to donate my comforter rather than have it end up in landfill. Christine is a hard worker, extremely kind and compassionate. We've used their services for about a month--but had to stop because we're moving away. Too bad! They do excellent work--clothes were always clean and pressed. They followed instructions (e.g., about how much starch to use on shirts) and were very motivated to please. The best and worst thing about them is they pick up and deliver. Very convenient and a terrific time-saver, but you have to remember to leave your clothes for them on pick-up day (assuming you're not home). A little challenging for the pre-senile ingest us--but over time I found ways to remind myself. Definitely worth the effort. read more

I have been using the Mark Cleaners since 1992 when Oke and her husband were the owners. I loved the fact that all the jobs were done on the premises; all the clothes are carefully checked for spots and problem areas. I continue using it after Peibing took over. The quality is the same with Oke coming to the shop once a week to do the alteration jobs. Peibing excells in customer service and customer relatioship. I love the way she remodeled the shop; she is very helpful, professional and accommodating. I must say that when we moved to a new house at the end of last year I tried to use a local dry cleaners service, but the price and the quality were not the same. I came back to use Peibing's service again. I am only happy to reroute my logistics to make sure that I am given the highest service. Highly recommend!!!
