Granville has been a favorite for many years now but recently, after years of do so, they stopped doing a modification to a salad that my wife really loved. Now she is never interested in going which bums me out because I have a couple of dishes there that I like. Last night, I talked her into going and she reluctantly found something, which was fine. My trout wasn't as good as usual, but I will take it as an aberration rather than the new normal. Service, from Bri, was excellent. We sat on patio and had to deal with a transient who was intent on bothering those on the patio with annoying questions and was asked to leave by diners at the nearest table. Nobody at the restaurant noticed or did anything about it. While it's a place I'd still recommend, it still is disappointing that things have changed. read more

Went on a Saturday for brunch, the food was great. The drinks were great, the service was great and the Ambience is great! lots to love about this place. It's pretty roomie, not like a lot of other brunch places where they try to cram too many people into one area, it felt like there was a pretty good space between myself and the next table. Granville has been one of our family's favorite restaurants for decades. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is great, and all the food is delicious, so we often go there for family brunches or dinners. Solid food with good vibes. Located in a very walkable street with lots other restaurants and stores nearby. I appreciate the interior design and the patio seating. I've been here a few times and I like how there's usually no wait for walk ins. My friends and I strolled in for lunch and shared the chilaquiles, wagyu tacos, and shakshuka. My favorite was the wagyu tacos-- very tasty with the consommé and squeeze of lime and I like the addition of the circular egg. Shakshuka was great as well, no complaints. I was not a huge fan of the jackfruit in the chilaquiles. Personally would have preferred some sort of meat or eggs instead. Flavorful nonetheless. Since we were seated at the high tables, the service was a bit lacking but everyone was very friendly. Always good food waiting at any Granville. First time at the Burbank location for a holiday work lunch and came away with no different of an opinion. Same Granville menu and solid food and drinks. People with the group ordered a variety of things - pasta, burgers, salads. I opted for a poke bowl which was solid...packed with flavor and made just right. I have to say that the food is very good here, but on the down side, the place is just too loud. We couldn't even hear each other from across the table so we had to wait for a table to open up outside. The butternut squash soup was very good. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays, clean, bright, and family friendly. Our party of 8 was well taken care of by Karyna our server. The kids enjoyed their cheeseburger and grilled cheese sandwich. We ordered the Medicina cocktail with mezcal, iced tea, and kids lemonades to drink. All were perfect! I highly recommend the bread & butter (whipped with duck fat).. wow! Their house French fries are also a 10/10. I tried the chicken noodle soup was... interesting. The noodles are orichette which mostly stuck together, there was very little chicken (maybe 2 bites total), and the matzo ball had a strange texture which I wasn't a fan of (I'm a lifetime matzo ball connoisseur). Visited here for a holiday dinner and once again, this is by far the best of all Granville locations. Having overdone it on previous meals, I tried the baby gems Caesar salad which could be ordinary...but it's not here. Plus, the way it's plated - look at them going for it! I think the seafood or fish entree is pretty big. Definitelly very good value to eat here. 4) Taste of the food is very good. Chef is definitely good. 5) I ate there last night and tonight. 6) last night I ate the angel hair pasta with claim white sauce, with shrimp. On a beautiful memorial day, I came in here with no expectation other than a chance to fill my belly. This place doesn't just create food, but it's art too.The bread and butter we ordered came with some exceedingly delicious sourdough and a lovely duck fat butter which was as light as it was luxurious. I also had the Wagyu steak sandwich which came with house chips, and the sandwich was wonderfully balanced between perfectly cooked caramelized onions and a horseradish aioli that had me impressed with how well it paired with the rest of my food. The dessert we had was the 'Lickety Split' and to my continued joy, it was well balanced and pleasant way to round off our meal. My only constructive and ultimately age related gripe is that the menu's have a very small font size. That is more than made up for the fact my entire meal was sensational. read more

My first time trying Granville, and they left a great first impression! I ordered the lunch poke bowl. It's definitely different than any other poke bowl I've had, but it was delicious! Light, refreshing, and delicious! And I still left full. It's not cheap, but you come here knowing the food is better quality and expect to pay a little more. For the poke bowl, it came out to around $20 after tax. My only critique on the bowl would be that it was a bit light on the tuna, and the tuna and avocado weren't cut very well(huge chunks). But other than that, it was really good and unexpected! I'd get it again. I enjoyed their outside seating area. And my waitress, Lisa, was really friendly and attentive. Granville and it's several locations across LA are my go-to business lunch spots. Studio City, West Hollywood/Beverly Hills and this Burbank location are all uniformly good, comfortable and the perfect spot for a client lunch or drinks meeting. This location has the same setup as the others I've visited- a modern, comfortable dining room with available patio seating. We made a reservation but it wasn't super busy for a weekday lunch. There are "lunch plates" but also sandwiches and salads so you'll have plenty to choose from. I wasn't that peckish so went with a bowl of chicken noodle soup, which was huge and actually a matzo ball like soup. It was really good and again - an enormous bowl. My colleagues had the Longevity Salad and Spicy Chicken lunch. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Our server was having an "off" day... I asked for sugar for my iced tea three times before finally giving up and asking a busser. I've never had anything transcendent at a Granville, but I've always had a perfectly good meal that works for any occasion or audience. Prices and portions are fair, the food is made to order quickly and always presented beautifully. I have tried most of their dishes overtime and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Excellent food and service. I came here to celebrate with my brother and SIL. Great hospitality and quick seating on the weekend. Their outside patio is dog friendly and they even have a cute handout with doggy rules. I've had the Bacon & Blue Burger and Granville Skirt Steak here. I am a fan of all of the Granville restaurants and this location, although the smallest Ive visited did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the staff here is super attentive and makes sure you are satisfied. The food is basically the same at all the Granville restaurants. Made fresh and I BELIEVE farm to table. Their food and drink menu is exceptional, and if you eat pork, the pork chop is a must try. The artisan bread is also a must to order. There is something delicious on the menu for vegans and pescatarians as well. Because the location is downtown Burbank, parking can be a challenge but there are always parking structures close by. In the front there is 2 hour meter parking. The ambiance is inviting and casual. The outside seating is very nice and they have tvs if you are a sports fan. read more

These guys are solid. I've come several times over the years. Great food, good service, cool atmosphere. They have happy hour 3-6. You can walk-in to sit in their bar pending available space, anytime. They always have a nice selection of bites to eat on their happy hour menu too. Not a lot but nice. The regular restaurant menu has something for everyone including vegetarians and vegans. Everyone I brings likes it too. Honestly, their only failing at this location is their Diet Coke (if you are a Diet Coke fan you will be extremely disappointed). I've been twice now, back to back and the Diet Coke is horribly flat and syrupy. No CO2 whatsoever or it's just not calibrated correctly. So I was a bit horrified to find it the same way a few months later, after my previous visit. This means no one is calibrating the machine on a weekly business . I used to calibrate soda machines so I can tell when soda is off. So if you want a no sugar drink, order an ice tea. They do, do refills nicely. Love their salads, burgers, fries and tacos. Had reservations for 12pm on a Sunday. We arrived on time and werre seated immediately. They were very busy and had people waiting outside, its a popular brunch spot and I see why. We chose Granville for their many gluten free friendly dining options. I ordered the half sandwhich and side and chose the Santa Barbara chicken sandwhich with Caesar salad. The portions were amazing, food was amazing, prices were amazing. My friend ordered the Spring chicken salad and loved it as well. The reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 stars was the extremely slow service, we were essentially forgotten about for well around 45 minutes after we finished eating and I had a almost stand up to flag our server down. Service in between eating was alright, nothing phenomenal but nothing to complain about. I will still be back, but hopefully will have a faster exit process next time. Also note theres plenty of parking lots and garages around that are free but note that most street parking is paid so if you are okay to walk a bit, then park in one of the nearby parking structures/lots! read more

I was running late to my reservation for 5:30 and I called ahead and they said they only give a 10 minute grace-period, luckily I got there on time. I got the Grilled Salmon for dinner; it was very tender and cooked beautifully. It came with mash and corn and it was good at first but later felt heavy and I felt the whole dish was missing something so I ate the appetizer burrata/tomatoes with it and then it tasted well balanced and whole. The interior was very nice and pretty. Granville and its staff are dog friendly and we were on their outdoor patio but it was actually really nice because we weren't "literally" outside. We were still inside in a way so it still felt cozy. They also had their warming heaters on their patio and turned them on at a specific time. Parking, however was pretty difficult and there was a lot of traffic but other than that, I had a great night at Granville. read more

What a lively location this is! Very well lit! I didn't take pictures, but I liked how the patio was situated. We didn't eat there. It looked like it was outside, but not outside exactly. I really liked the Santa Barbara Chicken Sandwich. I tried my boyfriend's Spicy Pasta which was also good. It was spicy but not too spicy and there was a lot of corn in it. The bread and butter were probably the second best thing there. We like the salt it comes with. The matcha was nice and minty. The cocktails are made really well here. The brûlée brownie was a 10/10. The food is fine... the service is fine. The price, even by today's standards while not out of line are a bit inflated but it's a very nice section of downtown Burbank with it's entertainment money so I get it. But $8.50 for two slices cut in half of (really excellent) bread with butter and a small pile of salt is a bit much. Two of the of us ordered salads with chicken, including "Spring Chicken Salad" both came sans chicken! Not the end of the world but it took a lot of time to catch the waitperson to get it fixed. Apologies all around, "the kitchen is a bit backed up today." Mid-week? Anyway all is fine with Granville but the value falls short. Granville burbank was a great experience. We tried the Dine LA 2026 menu which was $25 per person for a drink and a 3-course meal (appetizer, entree and dessert). Between 2 of us we tried the garlic tomato bisque and the uptown mac n cheese for appetizers, we went for the spicy chicken lunch and the chipotle chicken club sandwich for entree and the flourless chocolate cake and cherry almond gelato for the dessert. We had the berry lemonade. Overall taste was 4.5/5 for all of this, desserts were 10/5!! The reason I give a 0.5 less for the food is because it was a little more tart than we would like - especially the lemonade, the tomato bisque as well as the chicken meal. Pretty casual and comfortable ambiance. Service was good, they did a small mess up and got our food out before the appetizers but did realize that soon and apologized, our server K was amazing otherwise and took very good care of us. We are going to go back !! Also there is plenty street parking in this area, there is a free parking on orange grove street that the restaurant mentioned to us while there is also free parking at the nearby burbank mall which is a short walk. read more
