Worked with Frankie, got a nice truck at a fair price. Just know, the better your credit score, the more leverage you have.

Terrel Staples' team got us right in, took our trade-in, and gave us a great deal on an amazing, pre-owned Jeep!

My husband drove me the extra 1 hour to Grapevine where I called ahead, told them what vehicle I wanted, what I wanted walk out the door final pricing, and what interest rate. This probably was the smoothest transaction I have ever had in 18 years of car buying! No hassling me over warranties and such; I was at the dealership about 1 1/2 hours total; test drive and waiting in line for financing to sign for the car (they were SUPER BUSY) and we were on the road home!!! I would make the 3 hour drive again if needed!

Dealerships can vary in terms of customer service and Grapevine Honda is no different. My home…read moreHonda dealership is McKinney Honda, however, Grapevine Honda is closer to my office so I took a chance. Here are my two experiences, both from the last month, with my certified pre-owned Honda CR-V. 1. I was having battery issues as it wasn't holding a charge. I had AAA diagnose the problem earlier in the day and the tech indicated it was a bad cell preventing it from holding a charge. Because the CR-V had an extended warranty and certified pre-owned, I thought perhaps the battery would be covered under warranty so I took it into the dealership. Unfortunately, Grapevine Honda said the battery was not part of the warranty and it would cost $300 for the regular battery and $450 for the H5 battery which my model CR-V required per the sales advisor. I ended up calling AAA again and had them install the H5 battery for $244 along with a 3 year warranty. The mark-up for a car battery at Grapevine Honda is insane. Service interaction was good, but the price gouging is unacceptable. 2. Maintenance code B127 popped up on the display, which meant I needed an oil change. Grapevine Honda was running a special on oil changes, so I went there due to the proximity to my office. Part of the multi-point inspection showed that I needed to change my transmission fluid as there was no record of it ever being changed, so I approved of it based on the history that was presented to me in the moment. However, when I got home late that night, I reviewed the certified pre-owned checklist paperwork and the transmission fluid was indeed changed prior to buying the vehicle 5 months before. The next day, I talked to the service advisor, Kyle Guyette, who helped research further and discovered that the Honda database (EVRM) did indeed show that the transmission fluid was changed a few months prior. (Apparently, Grapevine looks at Carfax data on vehicles as EVRM may not always be accurate; in this case the Carfax data was missing work that was done on my CR-V.) Nonetheless, Kyle was able to resolve the situation and issued a full refund on the transmission fluid flush that was done but not required. I appreciated the fact that Kyle was very professional and handled the situation extremely well by making things right - there was no hesitation or trying to deny or negotiate. Bottomline: work was done that was not required to the vehicle, but Kyle rectified and resolved the situation professionally and quickly. Because of this, trust has been established. The next time the CR-V needs servicing, I will be working with Kyle, who I highly recommend to anyone who has a Honda that requires maintenance or repairs.

Personally will not come back to this branch after the rushed customer service I've gotten from…read moretheir manager, Colten. We came during noon and there was no line. This was my first time coming to this branch as I usually go to the location near my home. But today I was visiting family, and we decided to go to this AutoZone on the way to gather several things and possibly ask questions. We got assistance from Colten; right away I can tell he's busy as he was interrupted multiple times and we were left standing at the kiosk. I didn't mind this, but what got on my nerves is how he rushed the process of finding our items. After finding 3 of our items he immediately checked everything out and added me to the rewards program. No asking if we have any questions, offering to print information, if we are looking for anything else, if we want to enlarge the photos of the items found etc. After adding me to the rewards program he told me the total. I said to him, "Can we check for the other items we need before I pay?" He cancelled the transaction and asked us what else we need. By then my mood was soured because it really felt like he did not want us to be there, despite no line and no reason to rush us out. We were looking for information regarding the radiator overflow box and he nearly added it onto my cart without asking if it was even something we wanted to buy today. No asking if we have questions, see alternative options etc. We had to ask if he could print us the information and enlarge the photo. The entire time he never once smiled. Never greeted us and spoke to us in a rushed tone and deadpan expression. As I wanted to get out of there, I paid what Colten found for us and left without asking for more details. Honestly for a manager with poor customer service like that I'm not sure why he bothered to assist us if he was that busy. I would rather wait to get assisted properly with time and care by his staff than to deal with him again.

Brandon ran multiple tests on the battery and explained everything patiently. All 3 tests showed the battery was in perfectly good condition. He could have brushed me off, but instead he helped me understand what was going on and treated me with genuine respect. The situation with the dealership ended up getting resolved, and when I went back to AutoZone, Brandon told me a woman came in late that night with children and needed help with a battery. Brandon gave her the one I had returned. That level of compassion and integrity is rare. Brandon didn't just help me - he helped someone else in need. Customer service like that deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Brandon, for being patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.

Unfortunately, we never received that notification. When I called the following morning, I was told the car had actually been ready the previous day. I went to the dealership to settle the bill and pick up the vehicle. Upon entering the service advisor area, no one acknowledged or greeted me to ask if I needed assistance. I waited at Rene's desk for about 20 minutes, assuming he would return, while several service advisors appeared occupied chatting or focused on their computer screens without offering help. Eventually, I learned that Rene was off for the day. The lack of communication and customer service standards made the entire experience frustrating and unprofessional. Stronger oversight and better attention to customers would go a long way toward improving the service experience.

I was judged the moment I arrived, I wasn't treated like the wealthy high class people they're used to to seeing and it was obvious. No manager wanted to meet me, hell my original salesperson wasn't there nor followed up later. I've bought several cars and I know what to expect when shopping for a new vehicle. This was by far the coldest, neglectful and disappointing experience. The bad part about it, was that I liked the car a lot and felt I would be approved for it, but that didn't happen, since I was told I need to put down a sizable down payment. I refused although I had it, but the sting of non importance of my dollar and credit vs someone who doesn't look like me dollar and credit shows that classism and other ism's are still alive and well in establishments like these. Not a lot of words were spoken, and while I could say more I would've been more accepting of them saying we're closed. If I knew then what I know now I would've drove past there and saved myself a few inquiries, time and humiliation. I still wish them much success with their chosen demographic of customers whom they worship and treat with the utmost respect. Business is business and while I didn't appreciate my own experience I understand the game. Sewell Sewell Sewell

LIARS and criminals -- do not trust anything these guys say…read more I brought my fiancée's vehicle in for an oil leak inspection. The next day, they called and said it would cost $550 just to find the leak, claiming they needed to take apart the engine. Looking back, it felt like they were trying to take advantage of us. This is where things stopped adding up. After I told them we were not moving forward with the repair, they suddenly claimed they had already ordered a replacement part and that we needed to "negotiate" compensation. Negotiate for what? I brought the car in for an inspection. I never authorized any repairs. And if it costs $550 just to find the problem, how do you already know what part is needed? The next morning at 8 AM, I went to pick up the car. The woman at the front desk was very nice and seemed new, but then she brought out a mechanic who had a completely different attitude. From the moment he walked up, he was clearly irritated. He started telling me the car was "broken," that I'd need to tow it, and that it wasn't drivable. I told him I was confused, especially since he was the one who said a part had already been ordered Over the phone. Suddenly, he backtracked and said no part had been ordered and nothing had been done. When I asked what he was confused about, he said "your attitude." I laughed and said some shit back ect. Once he realized I wasn't going to pay for unauthorized work, he tried to haggle me and hold my car until I paid a "storage fee". What a fucking asshole right? He gave me some more bullshit lies then he walked away and brought someone else out. The next guy comes out and tells a completely different story -- that the car was fine and they "fixed it out of the goodness of their heart." So which is it? Completely broken, or magically fixed? Turns out, they fucked up and tried to bully me to pay for their fuck up, by lying over the phone and TO MY FACE. When things didn't add up, and i just kept asking questions they would get really defensive, angry and start gaslighting. In the end, I refused to pay for anything I didn't authorize and only paid for the part and inspection. If you want to "win" with this shop, the best strategy is simple: avoid them entirely.
